They missed a lot of other good ones as well. Raising Hope, Hope & Faith, My Wife and Kids, George Lopez, According to Jim. There are probably a lot more I'm not thinking of. 2000s had a ton of great shows.
Community should be higher on this list, especially after the traction it gained once it got onto Netflix! This definitely put some other shows on my radar, though. 👍

While I'm really happy "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" made the Top 5, you made it sound more melodramatic than it actually is. Despite that, these are good choices for the list.
Yes. You've the right #1. I can't say I fully agree with other placements but none can beat your #1, not just of that decade but in history, even better and more relevant than Friends.
I Love Scrubs, Two And A Half Men, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Modern Family, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Rules Of Engagement, Reba, Community, Malcolm In The Middle and The Office.
George Lopez is one my favorite shows that came out in the era. Two and a Half Man was so good until Charlie and Jake left the show which went downhill. 8 Simple Rules was so amazing, it’s sad that John Ritter died. Loved the Reba show, i remember watching it all the time when it was airing.

Same here! Tried to get into The Office and Parks & Rec and just couldn’t do it. But Community is so quirky and utterly ridiculous (at times) that it fits my humor perfectly 😄
Well this just proves that I'm 22 years behind on my TV watching. The only one of these I've seen more than 3 episodes of is Arrested Development... and I watch it over and over again.

@@guardianali I'm not talking about my friends; I'm talking about its viewing figures, which weren't high. It's much more popular now than it ever was from 2005-2013.
won't include that '70s show because it debuted in the 90s, yet majority of its run was during the 2000s. But will include Parks n Rec despite it only airing for a single year in the 2000s...
They had to pick some criteria, they chose premiering during that timeframe. They do a lot of videos about "best X of Y decade" and the criteria is consistently about the premiere date. They'll likely do a best sitcoms of the 90s list too (if they haven't already) and include that 70s show. Personally I think the year where the show premieres is best because otherwise it becomes complicated. If South Park was going to be on a list, it started in 1997 and is still going. If you were to select the decade that it aired the longest, that would have the entire 2000s and 2010s. The decade where it was most popular, what about ongoing shows, or shows that gain popularity after they end?
I can't believe not even with a 20-spot countdown, nobody takes notice on "Titus", which I think was genius. Only lasted a couple of years and I know nobody that watched it but it was great, if a bit raw. A favorite one for me, but admitedly probably not that well-written, was "Grounded for Life".

no! I honestly think to make a list like this it has to be a show that ran mostly in the decade. so if a show premiered in 1998 or 1999 but most of it's run was in the 2000s that show should count because it really is a show from the 2000s since that's when most of it's run was. for example I think it's stupid to count shows it started out in 2008 or 2009 because those shows would have mostly ran in the 2010s.
I’m sorry but TBBT and The Office should be the top 2 without a doubt, they were by far the most popular of the 2000s, and featured some of the most iconic characters to date. They both have pretty different senses of humor but everyone loved one of those two shows.
The Office yes but not TBBT, many people complained/complains about the laugh tracks and the show being unfunny without the laugh tracks. It's only the younger audiences that find the TBBT funny and most adults really don't. Jim Parsons had to carry the show hard imo, without him the show would have gotten cancelled very early. Watchmojo did a pretty good job with the top 5 here.
@@Abison07 tbh I don’t rly agree with that, as a teen, very little of my friends watch that show, but when I tell them I watch it, a huge majority of them say “oh, my parents watch/love that show” As for the laugh track, obv it can be annoying at times, but the show def isn’t funny without it. It just seems awkward without it cuz there are literal 10 second pauses between each line and no background noise whatsoever, which isn’t how the sitcoms without laugh tracks are written. But this show has so many unimaginablely iconic, creative and geniuses written plots that can’t be found in any other show. I also don’t think it was entirely Sheldon that carried this show, it was Sheldon and Penny’s dynamic together that carried it, and it still remains one of the best dynamics in sitcom history. Raj and Amy severed as amazing side characters as well. The only real problems with this show is Howard’s creepiness, Leonard’s lack of personality for a main character and Bernadette’s one-dimensioness that didn’t allow us to explore her character more and make her memorable. But the other 4 characters were amazing and audiences would agree, this show deserves the top two
@@starchanneljoseph Arrested Development S1 to S3 are better than the whole TBBT series. Also shows like It's always Sunny have much better creativity and flaws, and funnier than TBBT and doesn't rely on one character. That's why they are ranked higher than TBBT. Like I said, WM did a very good job with the top 5 here. Watch AD, It's always Sunny, Malcom in the Middle, Scrubs. TBBT is more popular, yes, because its target is the younger audiences, but popularity doesnt define the greatness of a show, this is not a list about most popular 2000s sitcoms. And yes Sheldon carried TBBT, ever wonder why he gets a spinoff and literally no one cares about the other characters now?
i got a couple of 2000's sitcoms, hope and faith, listen up,still standing, complete savages, life with bonnie, less than perfect,10 items or less, til'death, and this one tops them all corner gas, canadian sitcom from the 2000's,it's laugh out loud funny,it was genius.
George Lopez Hated It When I Saw It On Nick at Nite now I really like it probably my favorite show that aired on Nick at Nite/ Nickelodeon that wasn't Animated
@@lfgubrs TBBT is great until s3, when Bernadette & Amy join, and it's changed from a great sitcom about single people to a mediocre one about couples & families.
The only thing this list got right is putting The Office on the #1 spot. But there are shows here that don't deserve a spot and so many shows were missed - Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Schitt's Creek, Workaholics to name a few.

And yes Sheldon carried TBBT, ever wonder why he gets a spinoff and literally no one cares about the other characters now?
top 5 is pretty accurate i would say so. office has to be 1 , curb is still airring as well (i hope)
Scrubs #10?! C'mon. Way funnier and beterr than TBBT, Modern Family and HIMYM.
i got a couple of 2000's sitcoms, hope and faith, listen up,still standing, complete savages, life with bonnie, less than perfect,10 items or less, til'death, and this one tops them all corner gas, canadian sitcom from the 2000's,it's laugh out loud funny,it was genius.
I appreciate y'all putting Always Sunny in the top 5, I guess - even if you put HIMYM above it.
FOTC would've been much higher for me. Comedy and musical gold.
How Brooklyn 99 missed this list? It should be on top 10 easily
George Lopez Hated It When I Saw It On Nick at Nite now I really like it probably my favorite show that aired on Nick at Nite/ Nickelodeon that wasn't Animated
It’s hard being a Big Bang theory fan in the comments
Top 5: The Office, Parks and Rec. 30 Rock, Community, Arrested Development (first 3 seasons)
30 rock need to be made in the top 10
Scrubs will always be my favorite 2000's sitcom!
The Good Place Deserved A Mention
Am I the only one, but.....ummmm My Name is Earl was a freaking banger of a show.
Big Bang Theory may be the worst TV show of all time. There. I said it.
You obviously haven't seen Mrs Brown's Boys - that's a thousand times worse.
@@andrewjones575 I don't even want to think of a show that could be worse than Big Bang Theory. That is difficult to comprehend
Early seasons were gold when it was new and fresh. Then it got pretty repetitive.
