1 sin for that 1 minute ad
Thank you for letting us know where it's safe to skip to!
It's terrible 🖕
Mental health ads are never sinable. It's a very important message.
+1 sin for it being BetterHelp.
@@danielfrongillo773Google Sponsor Block and Thank me later
Remove 50 sins for Bill Hader’s performance as Officer Slater
Jesus didnt even realise that and watched 4 seasons of barry last month
I 2nd this. Bill killed this
and add 50 sins for seth rogens performance as officer whatshisname
You've officially become a bit too woke for my taste. I wish you nothing but the best in your future UA-cam career.
That freaking dance was 🔥🔥🔥💯!
I graduated in 2007. This movie completely and totally encapsulates being a teen in that time period... just a straight up comedy classic.
Amen, brother! The good ole days!
@@colinzwiebel6770I think the fact that there are people like you that think this was somehow the good old days is exactly why CinemaSins is going after movies like this. Challenging your take on outdated times being better
@@OversoulGamingDo you ever get a nose bleed from your high horse you ride all day?
@@jbye_89 gaslighting doesn't work on me. I will never feel guilty for having morals/standards.
Do you feel guilty for being a douchebag?
Not removing a sin for "I gotta sit here and eat my dessert alone like I'm f***ing Steven Glansberg" ... ding
Such an underrated line. I think about it like once a month every month lmfao
@@georgesanchez8051I say it at least once a month to someone 😂
Poor loser's denial having Steven Glansberg just avoiding the Odoyles and Biff and working out when he should shower next.....
My gamertag has been StevenGlansberg ever since this movie was released
@@tred4999 that’s fucking hilarious
McLovin is instantly iconic, despite the character's actual name being Fogell. Also, Jonah Hill and Christopher Mintz Plasse didn't get on during filming, much like their characters.
Method acting
LMAO
Were Fogel and Seth frenemies?
@williamfisher74 johnAh wasbon a crazy diet during this movie. He
Had a fit during an interview. It's well documented if you were interested. I'm sure he was a nightmare to. Be around.
It was also Mintz-Plasse's first movie.
Seth imagining the old lady in the liquor store saying "Why that would be lovely young man, would you like me to buy you.... alcohol?" deserved a sin off
Enjoy your remaining years
“Have fun fucking Jules!” 🤣🤣
@@celsovera91Enjoy fucking Jules!
So does the liquor bottle death slash since Seth looks like the dork with the jew fro in FT13th 3.
That would be LOVELY!
How are the opening credits in these movies any worse than your opening ads for crap that doesn't work?
Ding!
The opening to this movie always hypes me up for it.
"Heyyy! Its you, Mc Muffin "😂😂 Yoo that old drunk had me dying 💯
Best line in the movie
@@itisfreak facts 🤣
HELLS YEAH!
After all these years, he finally sinned it! I love this movie! 😂
I was shocked he never did it before
@@chaunceytomlinson5232 Yeah same, when I first saw this in my feed I thought it was a re-upload or another 10 year anniversary re-sin
The first half of this film is one of the funniest ever, but the 3rd act is so boring I don't even remember what happened
i swear i’ve seen him do this one before but… nah. Good sin vid too

I was starting my senior year when this movie came out. This movie holds a special place in a lot of people hearts
Same here
Same. I was heading into junior year
I was a sophomore when I saw it, not sure if it came out during that year or my freshman year
Kinda Same , I was a Freshman lol
i love the "what did you want me to do, dive in front of the spit?" line
“Creepy Boyle” ah yes, a man of culture I see
He calls him "Creepy Boyle" as if Boyle wasn't already creepy.
no sin removed for Seth kicking the soccer ball beautifully? 10 MILLION SINS
Perfect curl kick into the open staircase in the stands.
fuckin gorgeous and yet no love for it@@joepermenter7228
"You weren't cool unless you knew HTML" That's a very true statement about MySpace.
I knew it so well too! Probably forgot all of it now.
the syntax used may have changed.
I knew how make animated flame backgrounds in HTML without using gifs.
I always felt like a loser bc I always had to get one of my friends to mess with my MySpace bc I didn’t know how lol
It would've made more sense to mention Tumblr instead, because that's way similar.
ah, my favorite high school movie, one of my all time fav comedies.
i'll be nitpicking you jeremy
You waited way too long to make this. Naw bro you don't get to look at this movie through 2024 lenses at a movie 20 years old and judge when you saw this when it came out and loved it. 20,000 sins for you - one for every year it is still one of the funniest (not best) movies even up until now.
That Warp 10 Salamander joke was a DEEP Star Trek cut. Bravo.
Not that deep, it's not like he had to go to Paris for it.
@@logansmall5148Aaaaaaand ya nailed it.
Damn, I came in here to applaud the Threshold only to see the mic already dropped. Trek and CinemaSins are indeed the best of both worlds!
Yo we need to talk about how this extra absolutely fails at cracking an egg at 5:04. she demolishes that egg
LOL
Have to wonder if it was intended to be that way, or if it was a legitimate accident that they decided to keep in (because it's actually hilarious, especially her reaction) lol
Everything Superbad with Superbad
This is one of those quintessential teen movies of its era in the same way films like the Breakfast Club were for the '80s.
Sins of movies should carry over into the comments🛎️🛎️🛎️🛎️🛎️🛎️🛎️🛎️🛎️🛎️🛎️🛎️🛎️🛎️🛎️🛎️🛎️
Honestly glad they put their sponsors in the beginning instead of mid video.😂
And "American Pie" for the 90s.
It's also the most down to earth and artistic out of the teen movies, yes it has Apatows crass un PC humour, and Seth Rogen and Evan Goldbergs creativity, but it's Greg Motolas emotional and low fi instrumentation that sells it, check out Adventureland by him if you haven't
More like Fast Times at Ridgemont high, Dazed and Confused or American graffiti
Superbad where you see Scott Pilgrim and Tighten from Megamind as the main protagonists.
Titan?😂
Let's not forget the Mfer aka red midst
Megamind dubbed him Titan but Hal's kind of a dumb character so he assumed the spelling was Tighten. @@donovanhuffine5679
And red mist
And Titan tries to get with Gwen Stacy
Finally, movies we care about being sinned lol
No lie…
I figured he must have kids so maybe has to watch a lot of kid movies.
I mean yeah 😂
i like the animated ones
This movie has no sin
i feel personally disparaged having this movie sinned. It's uproariously glorious
One of the best comedies ever! So glad I saw this in theatres.. even more happy it wasn't made in this era
Nowadays Seth would be mute and surrounded by four black guys, two Asians, a trans and a Demisexual.
couldn’t have called him fagel if it was made now even though thats how high schoolers still talk lmao
10:13 Of course Seth survived that! The car literally just started backing up, it was going nowhere near as fast as it'd need to to justify a "Seth survives this".
Even a slow moving car is enough to break bones
@@pamoweiberezi5315 The second time he got hit should have done more than that.
The film that gave us Emma Stone. Remove 5 sins
Also gave us Micheal Cera. Everybody talks about him as Scott Pilgrim, but in Superbad, McLovin is the only thing anyone remembers
@@ironiceire I'd still argue Arrested Development gave us Michael Cera. It may not be as big as Superbad and it's definitely not his most well known role anymore but it's still his big break-out role, he even returned to it for it's 4th and 5th seasons well after he became as famous as he did.
It gave us Johnna Hill add 69 becaise that is what he would have wanted
@@candycoverehhh I definitely remember Jonah from Accepted and Grandmas Boy before Superbad
more like add 15 sins
I graduated high school in 2007, the same year this movie came out. I have still never laughed so hard in a movie theater.
Same.
MySpace was more like Facebook than TikTok.
If anything, Vine and Snapchat were TikTok before TikTok
Yeah but Facebook is already basically an outdated reference for the younger generations anyway
This movie still holds up today. One of the 2000’s classics
This movie didn’t include any noticeable cgi and came out in 2007, why wouldn’t it clearly hold up?
@@rece5232 The writing? The jokes?
I'm sure the ladies love your charming sense of humor @@Smokey1419
@@youknowwhoyouare2269 well yea, not sure what that has to do with me explaining what could be considered outdated tho.
the movie itself may not be outdated to the folks that enjoyed it as younger kids who also spoke like this.
now to cinemacins a very grown ass man who sins a movie for using the word "fag"
a bit of a stretch id say.. clearly living in very sheltered environment. :D@@Smokey1419
This might be the most Cinema Sins has had to bleep a movie
That last clip is perfect since in Scott Pilgrim Michael Cera does sleep in a bed with Keiran Culkin who played Fuller
1:03 To SKIP
Ahh... sponsored by BetterHelp, i.e., the 'Nickelback' of therapy 🤣
Idc what anyone says, this is still the best teen comedy of all time and it's not even close
It's a movie that shouldn't work the way it works
The crassness is done so well and wittily that you can't help but love it.
One of my favourite movies of my teens years. A real coming of age journey 😂
I guess for guys it is. Completely unrelatable to girls
"It leads to madness and salamanders!" Haha😂 I love the voyager call out, very nice!
To quote, Syndrome again from INCREDIBLES “Too late, 15 years too late!”
Sin it all you want, it is hysterical and a classic! Love this movie and still have it on DVD
May have to watch it tonight now haha
What happened to cinema sins that went so woke lately ?
How have you not sinned the Truman show yet
I always thought Beverly Hills Cop 1&2 (never saw 3) are treasure troves of sinnable cinematic offences.
It has no sins.
You gave back ONE sin for the singing...that's it. Lol. Credibility is gone.
53 seconds of a better help ad before an 11 second Intro * 🛎️ *
Only movie i've seen 3 times in theaters. I was a senior in high-school and this was way too quotable

This is what Scott Pilgrim was doing before he met Ramona Flowers.
Minus 1 Sin for the "Coen Brothers" joke! 😅😅
First you unjustly pick on STEPBROTHERS, and now you're having a go at THIS masterpiece?!!!!!!
I graduated highschool in 2007, this movie felt so 'real,' and was hilarious
Jonah Hill has two Academy Award nominations.
Just wanted to throw that out there.
Yes they need to sin This Is The End while they’re at it as Danny McBride references this in a scene.
Yeah, because he used to be funny. Then he made Allen Gregory...
Moneyball and wolf of wall street, right? Both performances were great and deserving of the nomination
It was a descriptive title for this movie. And perfectly right
My girl just left me and this shit always makes me feel better! Thanks my dude
U don't need her move on life is short keep soldering on
HE KNOWS ABOUT THE SALAMANDERS AAAAAAA
I love Voyager so much and so rarely do I get treated to references to it in stuff like this. ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for calling him creepy Boyle 😂
I thought this video was gonna be 30sec, and just say, "just kidding, it's perfect, bye." One of my favorite movies and had nights almost identical to this dozens of times.
Please do the secret life of Walter Mitty that movie is flawless
Friendly reminder Better Help was caught selling patient data and session notes
So 2 pre video ads and then a full minute ad. I hope this video is better than the one for Step Brothers, which I couldn’t finish.
Step brothers is awful, wish I never wasted my time on it.
you found youtube during the pandemic and now you're an expert on sinning movies
🛎️100 sins for the pre-Sins 60 second ad
they're looking behind 2024 rose-colored lenses. This movie is still hilarious to me and still my fave.
Alright you did step brothers the other day and now this. CMOOON CINEMA SINS
I took a class in college that was just about reviewing this movie lol
You can't make this movie today and that's why I love it
Are you kidding me? Detective Charles Boyle doesn't have a f*** dungeon. Perhaps a dungeon of culinary delights, but that's all I can see happening.
Trying to beat every level of Super Mario Brothers while also speaking Seal's full name was slipperier than anything that slipped into anything else in this movie.
Fun fact: Richard Prior is my grandmother's cousin. Got to grow up on stories about what he was like at family reunions. You're right to defend his T-shirt XD
Literally watched the movie an hour ago after watching a clip on TikTok after every movie I watch I search if cinemasins have posted a video on it and look at my luck 🤣
Finally, a CinemaSins that does it in less than the time frame
Jermey doesn't know what shoplifting is....Jer, that's called a robbery. He punched a minor in the face and took all the cash from the register. Thats literally a strong armed robbery, NOT shoplifting...

How many times I've watched this movie and didn't get the call back reference to Evan looking like Jimmy's brother later until it was pointed out here...so very accurate
This movie still holds up , the first 45 minutes is probably the funniest movie of all time
2:35 best comeback ever

Now ask yourself why your perception of therapy is associated with celebrities you can't relate with in any way?
i watch more movies watching cinema sins than i ever have
i cant believe you haven't done this one already tbh
There's certain moments in life where you remember a movie, song, person, etc. that you'll never forget and when I say this movie is that one 😆. My friends & I were in the theater crying tears from CTFU!
Hey Cinemasins I been watching you guys for years now. The movie you should do next is Party Monster. It's fucking crazy.
Starts at 0:59
My favorite movie from my childhood
You’re a trek nerd, you knew about the voyager episode. Wait so do I.
"Creepy Boyle"😂😂😂
SuperBad, Pinnapple Express. Believe it or not there was a time everyone thought Seth Rogan was cool.
Gangstas!!!! A Millennial classic
Gives me the nostalgia feels of all the dumb stuff me and the boys tried to do to get laid and fail. It was really about the friends and bounds who made along the way. Good times.
This movie came out the summer after I graduated high school and I remember being at a house party where somebody put it on. It was more or less just running in the background, but every now and again I'd hear something hilarious and try to watch it for a few minutes. So once everyone else at the party had passed out, I restarted this and watched the whole thing, lol. It's one of the only movies I can recall "watching" back to back on the first day I even knew about it.
I still think it's hilarious all these years later 🤣🤣
Just hearing all this bleeped dialogue makes me remember what an outrageously funny movie this was when it hit theaters. It's not just the swearing - it's the creative way it entwines with the dirty dialogue.
Dick Van Dyke is not British.
He’s American - born in Missouri to American parents, and grew up in Danville, Illinois.
An absolute legend, and still alive at 98!
Been waiting like 15 years for this video
He was just waiting to drop the fastest ad in front of it.
Please do The Sandlot
9:22 I think it means that the liquor store only accepts cash
Yeah the guy just has to point out imaginary holes to make himself feel better
I watched this over just last night so everything is super fresh in my mind 😂
