    I picked up this TV as an open box for $740 last weekend. I added a $35 glass-base stand (the OEM one was missing), and I'm absolutely satisfied. Your review was a factor in the decision, so thank you!

    We have the 65 inch and the glaring problem with these TVs is all the preloaded apps - like 10 WHICH YOU CAN'T DELETE - which all consume far too much memory to allow the TV to work efficiently. We are forever having to go into diagnostics and delete cache. Yes, that fixes the problem, but it's super annoying that it has to be done weekly.

      I wondered about this while shopping, and found very little comparative information. What I did find indicated that there are only minimal differences. The 2024 model has a slightly improved processor and newer audio processing (Adaptive Sound Pro vs. Adaptive Sound + and Active Voice Amplifier Pro vs. Active Voice Amplifier). Otherwise, they appear to be identical. Personally, I would save the $300 and get the C-model.

      yeah I think its more important about the size of your room, because if you are in a small room with 98" TV you might be too close to it and the motion might be hard to follow. the A80K will have a better picture but this will be brighter and more colorful.

    What is the viewing angle like? Does this model come with both VA and IPS panels? Oh wow, same with this! LG put VA panels only in the 50 inch and then keep quiet about it in the specs. Samsung have also put VA panels in the 50" for this model aswell! Why do that do that? There is a big difference in picture.

    • @Revolver1981
      @Revolver1981 7 місяців тому +5

      VA panels are better. They have better contrast. Don't listen to idiots talking about the viewing angles. The viewing angles on VA panels are fine. Nobody watches TV from really acute angles anyway.

      @@Revolver1981 I like to occasionally use a mirror for seeing it from a different angle, hence the importance of the viewing angle, for me. I found it strange that there are so many videos explaining the differences between the two panels, yet the manufacturers don't even bother to mention it. I have to go to the 3rd party specs site to find that out.

    The hate on this tv on reddit is unreal. Most redditors point out the fact that it lacks dolby vision, and crappy ui. Their alternative tv is an oled TV 4x the price of this 😆. I order mine 4 days ago, and expecting to get it tomorrow. I have an apple tv 4k anyways, so ui wont be the problem. For $1200, I wont cry about dolby vision. Just one question, is my bose 600 soundbar compatible with this tv? Some people told me I was going to have to get rid of the bose since samsung is not compatible with dolby sound either, not sure if this is true. Anyways, I liked and subscribed already!

      Why would Bose not be compatible with this TV? I do not understand. Also, Samsung does not have Dolby Vision on and of the TV lineups. Samsung does not want someone else controlling the picture quality and brightness. I have had Dolby Vision and Samsungs mid to higher end stuff is as good or better than a lot of the competition.

    1:26 some black bleed

    • @WaltsTV
      @WaltsTV  6 місяців тому

      I can totally see how that looks, its actually the picture, they shine light and it hits the dark grey background from that angle. if it was bleed it would look like that washed grey evenly around the whole cup.

    How you talk for 7 mins about a tv but don’t even have a section for the picture quality ?

      how do you watch for 7 minuets and not realize this video is for the average consumer who wants to learn more about this TV, not just a science experiment.

      @@WaltsTV Average consumer would like to actually see the actual tv more than your face .. imagine if instead of watching a movie, you listened and watch to someone else tell you how the movie went . I’m not asking to you do extensive test. I’m simply saying people came here to see a tv not a face . I’d even say go as far as having the footage of you talking on the tv and record that so you kill two birds in one stone

    I have an LG 43LF5100 43” from 2015 that I’ve had since I was in high school and living with my parents that’s currently in my living room.
    Will the upgrade between that one and a 65” Q80C be as drastic as I’m hoping?
