Or you could use a maewing, karkinos and two velos and use the karkinos to throw the velos up in the rock then use the maewing to lure the monkey

Those flying monkeys will leave sinomacropses after death and they are literally impossible to kill with a shotgun, hits just won’t registrate. So there is no way to cheese it, you need to do it legit…
I farm it all the time two people and capped shottys. Just don’t shoot the flying monkeys and the sinos won’t come
Shoot the Sinos off the top of the monkeys and let monkeys live, Sinos won’t respawn your welcome

We just use 2 guys a crab to throw a velo rider up there cryo the crab and use mana to drag boss . Mana rider hops up too. One imp velo kills it in just a few mins
What I'm hearing is one guy, 2 shotguns over 400% damage, 4k rounds and a roo, aight lets go
Do the same with but with crab and velo it's faster with mana as well btw

Easier with maewings, much easier to agro boss and get up to the ledge on a maewing
You can solo it with a mana. Just before the ledge you show there's a hole in the map on the left side. Jump up with a mana then dismount. You'll be walking above the boss arena. I finished gamma and beta solo that way. Ran out of time on Alpha. Used a 298% shottie.
Im gonna have to wait 2 years to use this strategy on ark ascended😅

I just got a ton of the best tames i could find and levelled them up as much as i could i had a whole army of just op dinos and some weak ones i didnt even have to do anything it took about 7 mins to kill my 2nd most fastest boss fight

1 get a Shadowmane 2 get a karkinos 3 get 4 velos and have 200+ shotguns for flying monkeys but use velos on that ledge on dinopithecus

U can do it solo with a shotgun that’s over 300 percent and u can use a maewing instead and on alpha
1 velo, 1 karkinos, 1 mana, can do it solo, only requirement, 2000+ velo
You lost me. 2000+ what? Health? Stamina? Melee damage? 2000 individual velos? Overall level?
Or you bring 4 pacertheriums with 30k+ health have them tank while you go in on your thyla
Why not just use Rexes? I believe they have higher base health and also do good damage
Rexes have lower health stats than paracers plus paracers have good weight and stamina so you dont have to worry about those stats and you can get an Overpowered paracer with barley any effort only problem is mutations arent very useful so breeding suck but results are good
You can actually do this on the center bossfight too, you just have to jump on a giant mushroom.
Miss the game but it gets bored if u play alone and most ppl in servers dont wanna tribe up so hope ark 2 Will be different!

Because the strategy is stupid easy

This bossfight is actually the worst in the game. The flying monkeys will quickly kill you all on that ledge because they throw shit and grenades, you'll get swarmed and die using this strategy. Just get rhinos like every other boss
At some point the boss wont spawn any Dinos if u just kill the sinomacrops it EZ but i would recommend to use a karki and Velo
The worse is gen 1 or 2 boss

Shooting the flying monkeys causes sinomacrops to fly at you and bite you they do alot of damage and they are hard to hit because they're kinda small and fly around you

Do not kill the monkeys. the sinos come off them and u cant kill them. Leave the monkeys alone sometimes they throw shit at you sometimes they dont. its random theres bossfights ive done where they dont throw anything at u at all in that spot, and others where tehy will just beam you. not sure what makes it that way
