Don't take this the wrong way... but I enjoy watching videos where things don't always go according to plan. Not every thing works the way you would like, not every product is awesome, it is refreshing to get a real honest assessment once in a while.
Totally agree. Sometimes, you can learn as much or more from a fail as you can from the wins. And someone posted the comment about 5hp per food for brushhog. I had never heard that before, and that one comment was worth making the video.
You never know till you try. Like you, I think maybe it was a bit too much. But with your tire width I doubt a 4' would be wide enough. Probably would handle a 5'.
I like seeing videos where people safely test the limits of their equipment. Good job!

Love the video. You’ve answered my ever lying question
I have the same tractor rk25 , Same thing had a old 6 foot ford bushhog and was to much for it went to a 4 footer no issues , Good video !
Thanks and that my plan when my big one completely craps 💩 out
The rural of thumb is 5HP for one foot, the RK25 is 25 hp but less than 20 at the PTO.
I always heard you want to be the same as your tires for the smallest. I've never heard the 5 hp per foot. I'll have to remember that. Thanks.
I run a 5' on mine.
