@Kiara Malhotra Not always. It depends on how severe the fracture was. The more severe the break, the more likely there is to be a "bump" at the fracture site. Hope that was helpful!
@Kiara Malhotra Possibly. It really just depends on how severe the fracture is. Usually there will be a minor "bump" at the fracture site. But there are fractures where there may be no noticable "bump" at the fracture site.
So strange. So I’m a 65 yr old women. Quite active and healthy. I broke my 5th metatarsal. Spiral fracture. Bones well aligned. 3 drs told me it would take a minimum of 6wks to heal. Possibly 8 was up to 12! 😩. No cast just a boot and non bearing wt. I religiously elevated and iced the area 3 times or more a day. Cut out alcohol , took a calcium vitamin d supplement. Ate lots of dairy, protein, fruits and vegetables. Did not worry about weight gain just loaded up on things like berries, bananas, nuts, plain Greek yogurt, eggs, meat and protein drinks. Also wore support knee high. Shockingly after 3 1/2 weeks my bone healed!!! Orth surgeon said I could walk on it as long as it didn’t hurt. So I gave up the boot and scooter and wore a supportive shoe. Walking with no pain at all!!! I couldn’t believe it. At the end of the day I still elevate it just out of habit and it feels good to relax that way. Tuesday will be 6 wks and I will get the X-ray to be sure it’s healed. Wish I could have X-rayed it at 3 1/2 weeks just out of curiosity. Anyhow I’ve been walking my dog twice a day on a flat surface and back to aqua aerobics 3 X per week. Have you ever heard of such quick healing in a women my age? I’m totally grateful but really don’t understand how this could be. Dr said 6wks usually minimum to heal that bone weather ur 65 or 25.
Non union tibia and fibia . May25th 2016. From a GSW . Today I finally came to come off opiods for pain . It took 4 month of dropping dosage but I finished and moving forwards opiod free I hope someone else can hear this and drop opiods . You can go it and I'm proud of you .
Hey. Broke my radius on the 4th when an SUV pulled out in front on me on my ebike. Hoping for a speedy recovery for myself, everyone who's already posted & to everyone who will be posting after me. Eat healthy foods ya'll ☮
I got t into a car accident on June 30 my and had surgery on my left femur and right arm I got all help from home health nurse and PT that provided from the hospital I'm so thankful For everything. They said it I have one more weeks to be able to put a little bit of pressure on leg so I can start walking a little bit. Thanks for sharing your videos.
Thank you for a great video. I was in a head-on collision as a passenger a fractured my right femur, patellar fracture-dislocation, and ostomy surgery due to ruptured intestines. 2 months have passed and I'm starting walk and put weight on my leg more and more everyday. Happy Holidays everyone, stay safe!
Hey this was so informative! I had a table leg fall and Break the tip of my second toe. Had x rays done and was told It would take 4 weeks to heal. On week 2 currently and I can't wait for 2 more weeks to come so I can resume my life.
@@PhysioFood Hopefully. Near the end of week 4 now and I can almost fully walk on it. I do get tired if I overdo it though. I can't bend it but can move it. Should I go back do you think or will it just take time?
a toe break? haha, i have had heartburn worse than a toe break! a toe break sucks, i get it, all im saying is consider yourself lucky because it could have been worse.
Watching this lying on the hospital bed with a crack on my pelvic bone. I had an aluminium plate and screw fitted in, the doc said, it's not permanent. It's just so that my bone stays aligned and will remove it after an year. I have got 17 stitches and this is the second day after my surgery. Hope to recover soon and go back to my normal life.
Thanks for asking guys, 2 weeks ago last year, was this unfortunate incident. I no longer feel the pain. Started running, but not to full extent. Went on hike, ride my bicycle almost everyday. Life's good
Not so humorous is it? I broke my humerus cap May22. Ortho looked at the X ray and muttered out loud "Lawsuit" I assumed he was worried about his bank account so I told him to EFF off considering it "was my choice" So, I went home and watched orange Beelzebub eff up again and again. If he was Jesus; no that story is full of holes...he demanded fruit from a tree when it was OUT OF SEASON(so he got nothing)as all the fruit was picked. Chew on a rock, idiot. I live in orchard country so I know trees don't produce out of season. EFF; people can't see this guy has a loose screw after 2000 years? They are so effed up. Even Mohammed does not ask for the impossible.(at least I am pretty sure he don't do that).
I just broke my tibial plateau one week ago today. It’s a type 2 with 1.8mm displacement. I was hit by a Doberman running full speed. I’m 58yo and I knew immediately that it was broken. surgeon has put me in a hinged brace,no weight bearing with ROM and some strength exercises. I’m hoping it heals quickly as I’m going stir crazy!
You say fracture healing time depends on the body part broken and how severe the fracture is. That's only part of the story. A great deal involves how old and how healthy the individual is, what their diets are like and whether they smoke, etc.
Helo doctor .i had Right ankle mallious fracture.doctor applied pop for 40 days. Now he removed and told me to walk slowly with the help of ankle band..can i walk? could u pls reply me?
Fractures I have had. 1. Compression fracture T12 / 4 month’s P. T. Kyphoplasty 2. Trimalleolar comminuted ankle fracture :with 2 screws in tibia and plate with 6 screws fibula. Healing time 6.5 months 6 months P. T. 3. Forearm radius and Ulna displaced fracture with long plate in ulna with 8 screws and longer plate with 12 screws. This was the second surgery as within 2 weeks bone separation again from plates. Took 4 + months to heal 4. Broken 3rd toes proximal phalanx. Non displaced fracture. Only a month. Hard post op sandal.
Very informative video. Thank you. Hit the sidewalk curb with my bike downhill and swan dived into the pavement. I got a deep wound in my chin that needed stiching but other than that I got away from it with only surface wounds and a broken thumb. I got driven into the A&E and the doctors gave me 5-6 weeks untill I can potentially remove the cast. Provided that the bone looks healed on the x-ray. 4 weeks left and I just can't wait!
Since I searched and searched trying to find information on my injury and wasn’t much out there, I came back to videos I watched to share with everyone how my healing journey has been like. I fractured my plateau tibia on the 24/09/23 playing netball. I was rushed to the hospital because of the swelling on the knee (the pain was too much). X-Ray was done but everything seemed okay. I was then sent for an MRI scan and it showed a non-displaced fracture to the plateau libia. The Dr ordered me to wear a hinged brace and crutches (I was using crutches already from the day I got injured). I had X-rays done again on the 1/11/23 and the results were positive. No surgery needed. The same day of the 2nd X-Ray, The Dr told me to stop using both the crutches and a hinge. I have been limping around for the past 5days😊. The swelling is still there and a bit uncomfortable but the Dr said it is normal and will disappear with time. My next appointment with the Dr is in 5weeks. Additional info: I stopped taking pain meds 2weeks after the injury because I was not feeling that much pain but continued taking an inflammation pill until I ran out of what the Dr had prescribed. I know how these injuries can be frustrating especially the fact that , information out there is not enough. All the best
This was very informative thank you! As I’m typing this I have a broken left arm. I got bucked off a horse and it felt like it was numb but also tingly. I’m going to a specialist this week but I got x-rays at the ER and ,thankfully, it’s a stable fracture. I broke my left funny bone [forgive me if I’m wrong I’m pretty trippy because of the meds lol] which is apparently rare in children. The specialist in my town won’t see me because I’m to young so we have to drive to a different one. For anyone wondering im ok other than my arm and new trauma. I am however pissed at the idiots that spooked the horse I was on. I broke my left wrist by falling off a bike and it broke so perfectly that I dint need a cast. It dint hurt but felt sore when I put pressure on it. It healed within 3 weeks [I wore the cast s day longer though] and I still did ridding lessons. Also I had a horse bolt on me but I somehow managed to stay on but my instructor fell of hers. Funny story about the first one. I was wearing a shirt that said “a horse will never break your heart only your bones, all good” at the time so pretty ironic. Also completely different reaction from the staff when you tell them you fell off a bike and telling them you fell off a horse. I’d also like to apologize to the door I ragged at absolutely for no reason today and for giving my trainer a heart attack because I dint move for a good minute when I fell off the horse and she probably thought I was dead or unconscious. But I’m 13 right now and I’m honestly surprised I haven’t died or gotten a concussion yet
Broke my femur in 1994 at the age of almost 6 in a fall from the top of a jungle gym. I remember everything about that ordeal. The sensation was most eerie in the way that my leg felt like it was on a noticeably declining surface while it was infact on flat ground. The only recollection I have of any pain was when the paramedics rolled my on my side to slide the board under to lift me up to the stretcher but they warned me that part will hurt. Based on the X-ray that I saw, I'd compare it mostly to the 'oblique fracture (displaced)' near the start of this video, but i was a diagonal break similar the one shown in the 'nondisplaced' image. I spent 3 months in a one and one half hip spica cast and a few weeks after that regaining strength in my legs with the aid of a walker.
Hi I have a humerus fracture and I’m wearing a saramiento brace I’m approaching week 4 since I broken my arm. My doctor is telling me 6-8 weeks healing time I’m trying to stay positive and finding your video on UA-cam helped a lot too. Thanks for the great video.
@@LucyfierRBLX that's great news! How long before you were able to lift weight? When did you start PT? Any tips? Vit d, k2, nutritious dense food, patience, positivity?
@@fasteddie363 I’m really not into lifting weights lol but I notice I could start lifting heavier things around 9 months. Remember it’s a slow heal it takes 1 year to completely heal, I’m at 11 months now. I took a multi vitamins supplement and I drunk a lot of skim milk, I actually lost weight. I ate foods that help with bone healing, beef and broccoli and plenty of green vegetables. I started pt at week 4 with light exercises, then slowly moved along to strengthening exercises. By week12 I was release from my my doctor I could return back to work with a strict warning lol. It’s all about time, hang in there it will get better.
I got in a car wreck in September of last year. I shattered my ankle and broke my fibula. But 4 months later my bone is still not healed. My doctor ordered a bone stimulater to help my bone to heal faster. He said if that doesn't work. Iwill have to have another surgery to take the plate and screws taken out. Then he would have to put a nail up through the bottom of my foot.
I spained my finger then after four days of not knowing i broke my finger the doctor said to go to the emergency room now and they the put me in a plaster they they transport me to a different hospital now I suffering for 6 to 12 weeks please give me like for support!
Ankle broke in 3 - HAD SURGERY -took 7 weeks to heal - praise god - now i just gotta do PT

Broken my humerus apart 11 days ago and had a distal humerus surgery a week ago. It was indeed very painful. In the recovery process now and the pain os getting better
I broke my right tibia fibula 3weeks now, its healing gradually except wrong size of metal insertion that was put during the surgery. It's so awful when you feel you shud be healing with no other complication
Trimal fracture (Comminuted pilon with moderate dislocation; ORIF with 3 plates, 13 screws); NWB for 12 weeks, was working on ROM and walking (still limping) when a subsequent accident broke the tib/fib above the prior hardware. Now NWB from 2nd accident.
Had a fatal accident sustained a fracture on my leg , thats the tibai and fibula, had the surgery done , and the bone has started healing.i ve been home for seven weeks now.
I’m 17, fractured my 2nd metatarsal 12 weeks ago as of 11 days from now. Went to the doctors 5 days ago, got an x-ray, and Ute still broken. Praying it’ll heal soon but damn; I hate the boot.
When I was 14, tib/fib break that had to be set. Surgery that day. No weight bearing for 12 weeks. Hard cast. 12-16 weeks, I was able to go back to full weight bearing, but still had the hard cast. My calf muscles shrunk so much. Now at 36, just had patella femural partial knee replacement and an osteotomy to fix alignment. The osteotomy involved getting a wedge cut out of my femur, closing that up, and setting it. No weight for 4 weeks. Just started 2 weeks partial weight, then go full weight bearing. After 12 weeks, I get the other knee done.
My friend broke her femur long boarding yesterday. She's a rower might never be able to row again . She got surgery last night I still haven't heard back from her or her mom. On the first day of summer break too
Very informative. 💜 I’m recovering from a no displaced oblique fracture in my 5th metatarsal. I’m going on my 8th week in an air cast. Happy healing and hopefully every is taking their injury down time to develop a healthy habit life. Protein rich foods, yoga, fresh air, grounding, and good rest. 🦴🩻🎯
Check it I have a shattered hip and pelvic fracture, and a compound fractured femur, and compound fracture tib fibula the bones were sticking out of my skin it was a truck pulled out in front of my motorcycle
That really sucks. Just hang in there. The healing process is long, but under your doctors direction you can bounce back. Sending positive healing vibes your way bro. 🙌🙌🙌
In 1972 I will stop by vehicle. I’m broke femur the tibia my pelvis , my wrist on my jaw. And we never put a single piece of metal in my body. I have on me is a total of eight months and it actually cut the Kisco off to secretaries of time to reposition my leg. I was given all types of lifetime inspections after I have the cast removed. Well years after the cast was removed, I started playing ice hockey eventually play 250 professional games in Toronto and this day. My leg does feel different but I was talking restrictions were a little ridiculous.
32 yr old body builder, and I broke my arm in a really bad unstable spiral communated fracture. Had to get surgery and its been around 70 days since then. I did not feel any pain when it broke.
@@jukim168 yeah, im at my old weight and flexibility. It comes back quick like everyone says. I also messed up my rotator cuff, and that's a lot slower to recover. If no muscles were involved you might be back in the gym in just a couple months.
I broke my left collarbone 2 weeks ago while skiing. It's noticeably misaligned, but is still, although barely, connected on the bottom side. Never felt pain during the two weeks, not even when breaking it. Only when putting pressure in it it hurts. I can also still do almost everything with my left arm, lift it up high, carry heavy things and play the piano. It's weird, knowing it's broken but not having any pain.
So I got bucked off a horse August 3rd, after going up in the air significantly- full somersault- I landed on my right foot (a little to the outside of the foot) very hard. I felt immediate, searing/burning pain, pretty intense. I writhed around like a wounded snake for a a minute or two, then got up to go catch my horse. It hurt, but I could put weigh on the inside of the foot and sort of hobble along like Quasimodo. Managed to catch the horse and put him away, then went and took copious amounts of Advil and iced my ankle. (Pain was worst on the outside bony part of the ankle.) My ankle swelled up significantly and had a lot of bruising, even down into the heel and toes, quite hideous looking. Because I am a “crazy horse woman” I dragged my leg around for over week before my horse vet volunteered to xray it. Of course, she told me “GO TO THE DOCTOR!” I had an oblique displaced fracture of the fibula. Went to ortho absolutely certain I would need surgery… but he told me he wanted to put a cast on it and have me stay completely off of it for a week and re-X-ray. (Cast hurt like hell, way worse than dragging it around broken had.) After a week, the bone had miraculously re-aligned! No surgery! I was in the cast 3 weeks, went back for another X-ray and ortho said he thinks the break is now in the beginning stages of calcification. He wants me in a walking boot for another 3 weeks. I am (mostly) staying in the walking boot outside, but I take it off in the house. My ankle feels pretty good overall, minimal pain, a little bit “jello-like” where the break is. Don’t tell my ortho, but I did manage to get back on and ride a horse yesterday. Felt pretty good, just a little weak, and did not try too much posting trot because of the feeling of weakness in the ankle. I would like to work on getting the strength back in my ankle without doing damage to the mending process of bone. How much of the “weakness” I feel is just from not having used that ankle in over a month, and how much of it is from the break? I have minimal pain at this point, still some swelling once I’ve been up on it for a while, it goes away overnight while I sleep.
I had a displaced comminuted fracture of my tibia. At 2 months, I was told I couldn't put my foot to the floor. At 3 months, same thing. At 4 months, same again. 😢 I'm at 5 months so hopefully, if I can get someone to drive me, I'll get the go ahead for physical therapy to walk🤞🤞🤞
5 months it took 3 bones in my foot in 2017 to heal. I think because I have a damaged Polio foot from my baby hood. I now have another broken bone or bones and they do not know until I have an MRI scan. I live in the UK.
My doctor told me it only takes 4 weeks to heal. That 6-8 weeks is outdated advice. And that inflammation is good and necessary and must not be stopped.
I had a 3rd and 4th metacarpel spiral fracture from a fall on a dry ski slope. The fractures were stable so was put in a cast without surgery. Now 7 weeks post fracture. Have full mobility back and probably up to about 50% strength returned but this is improving all the time.
@Malissa7 I had the same fracture about 8 months ago now. I was back to doing everything as I used to be doing after 6 months. Both of you will be fine, the important thing is to keep walking on it and do something not overly painful but uncomfortable everyday for like 5-10 minutes and take your vitamins.

Thanks for the video and I appreciated all the comments. I fractured my fibula on 3-10, I ended up going to emergency two days later and they put a splint on it that was worthless after 6 days and i cut it off and used a old aircast for a few days till my appointment. I debated between a cast or a aircast. I took the aircast which was the third option. Kaiser doctor's first recommendation was surgery, which didn't make sense because it was a clean fracture and it was healing nicely. The cast seemed like a death sentence, so I took the last option. I was wondering if I made the right choice. The aircast has the benifit of being able to ice the area. I'm going into my third week and most of the swelling and brusinis gone. I'm still wondering if I made the right choice.
how do you almost break a bone, though? either the trauma was severe enough that it broke your bone, or it wasn't. how do you discern about "almost"? according to you, i probably almost broke my ankle 10000 times in my life.
I'm 55 yrs old, & this is my FIRST time breaking a bone. 2 weeks ago I lost my balance in my back yard, fell backwards, & tried to catch myself. Didn't work out very well lol I've got a stable fracture if my radial styloid something or other lol. It hurt like HELL, when I fell & tried to get myself off the ground. It's hurts any time I try to open something like a ziplock..omggg.. its such a pain in the @ss. I'm finally able to at least put a ponytail in my hair, and also to button my jeans. My dr says my healing time may be longer because my xrays show I have osteoperosis 😮
18 days with non dislocated fibula ankle fracture wondering can I ride a stationary bike? If so how long suggested? I’m in a boot (I had a splint from ER, but now in a United Ortho AIR Cam Boot, self paced , no doctor). 44 years old, healthy. Down to slight swelling/to none; maybe taking 2 Tylenol 650mg extended release pills some nights just to rest from my own mind and maybe a level 3 pain/uncomfortable feeling based on the way I elevate with the boot off at night, but still wrap in the air liner with pressure inflated.
It depends on how severe the fracture is. I've seen bones displaced inside of cast because the person wasn't following their doctors' precautions. Hope that helps. Sending positive healing vibes your way. 🙌🙌🙌

Hi mate, thanks for the video. I fractured my tibia and fibula 9 weeks ago now and the bones weren't displaced they say i have a little spiral fracture on both the tibia and fibula about 6 inches about my ankle and believe it or not I didnt need pins or plates just simply a cast now what I'm wondering is I'm in my cast still 9 weeks in but I have a little shoe that attaches to my cast and I'm putting my full weight through my right leg now with absolute zero pain would you reccomend me stay in my cast for the 12 weeks they want me too (I'm into week 9) or should I get the cast off and go into my boot which they are going to give me at week 12 anyway? It's so frustrating being stuck in this thing when in walking on it without crutches now I just want to get back to work, this really challenges your mental health having to depend on people helping you out really drives me nuts. I had a 5th metacarpal fracture on the last week of January. Had open reduction fixation surgery with 4 pins first week of February, due to the bone breaking in 3 pieces. Went back to work without restrictions mid april so almost 2 months recovery but my grip strength was at 50% at the time and was working toward strengthening it. Then.....first week of june i break the same bone...but this time a displaced fracture. My Dr did a closed reduction, and 3 pins. Lets see how long it takes since is a refractured of the same spot withing 4 months.

My 85 yr old mom fell and broke her arm high up the arm between the elbow and Deltoid more towards the Deltoid, the hospital did not put rods inside her arm just a plastic cast wrap, does no rods mean its not that bad.

Hii doctor I had femur bone fracture suregey and it was stage two open fracture .now it's been 3 months ..my question is how man months it will take to heal properly....n I'm trying to put 100% of my body weight on my leg is it of to do so..
Broke my humerus in three areas including the head from a motocross crash. Had ORIF surgery. Bone healing is the easy part, it’s regaining strength and range that is slow and difficult! This is definitely an injury u want to do as your doctor and physiotherapist advise and do your at home exercises! I’m 7 weeks in and my range is still only halfway. Curious what is it about rice for bone healing? I just took vitamin D and calcium supplements.
same also fractured my humerus... and I agree the bone healing is the easy part. regaining strength, and being able to do the things you usually do takes time. its been four months and I still can't full do a straight upward arm stretch. and the last time I went to the dr., he said it will heal on its own.
Update: I’m 9 months into recovery with about 6 months of those first months going to PT. I can lift my arm about 90% above my head. Been bad about doing PT these last few months on my own but the good news, is even without it, my arm gets better ever so slightly every day and the subtle pain/ soreness has also gotten better. Still need to regain lots of muscle in the shoulder and I’m quite convinced when I do the arm should be 95% good?
My mother is 57. She just fell a week ago and suffered a comminuted spiral fracture of her humerus. Because she’s a heart disease patient who had a heart attack 2 years ago she’s scared of surgery. Ortho said it looks stable now but we’re due in 2 weeks with new X-rays to see if the bones are still in place. They left her in a sling for the time being. Is this normal? She doesn’t have insurance but I’m capable of paying out of pocket for procedures and care for her though I’m worried because of her lack of insurance they may not want to care for her as well as they would someone else. Any advice?

It depends on the severity of the fracture. Sorry for the late response!
I’m a boxer and broke my humerus in September, when do you think I’ll be allow to spar & fight again
It was a complete break too and had plates and screws placed in
Dr said 6wks usually minimum to heal that bone weather ur 65 or 25.
that is a miracle, i just broke my tibula and fibula. i will take your nutrition advice mam’. thank you for sharing
You’re quite an impressive specimen. Bless you.

I got t into a car accident on June 30 my and had surgery on my left femur and right arm I got all help from home health nurse and PT that provided from the hospital I'm so thankful For everything. They said it I have one more weeks to be able to put a little bit of pressure on leg so I can start walking a little bit. Thanks for sharing your videos.
glad you’re safe ❤
Any nuts and screws put in your bones ?
Thank you for a great video. I was in a head-on collision as a passenger a fractured my right femur, patellar fracture-dislocation, and ostomy surgery due to ruptured intestines. 2 months have passed and I'm starting walk and put weight on my leg more and more everyday. Happy Holidays everyone, stay safe!
Hey this was so informative! I had a table leg fall and Break the tip of my second toe. Had x rays done and was told It would take 4 weeks to heal. On week 2 currently and I can't wait for 2 more weeks to come so I can resume my life.
Just in time for the summer!
@@PhysioFood Hopefully. Near the end of week 4 now and I can almost fully walk on it. I do get tired if I overdo it though. I can't bend it but can move it. Should I go back do you think or will it just take time?
I think doctors double the estimate just to be safe
a toe break? haha, i have had heartburn worse than a toe break! a toe break sucks, i get it, all im saying is consider yourself lucky because it could have been worse.

Life's good

Thanks so much it really gives me courage with my broken humerus
I just broke my humerus and it was so bad
How long does it take for your fracture to heal? I broke my humerus 2 months ago. It's starting to form callus
Subed ,best explanation I've found yet ,good delivery as well, video done well
I appreciate your kind comment. Thanks for your support! 💯
T. Kyphoplasty
Took 4 + months to heal
4. Broken 3rd toes proximal phalanx. Non displaced fracture. Only a month. Hard post op sandal.
Omg dude easy BTW did you get the metals out or they still there because I'm just like you I had a displaced forearm surgery.
How are u now
Did you smoke or drink alcohol under recovery time?
But I’m 13 right now and I’m honestly surprised I haven’t died or gotten a concussion yet
fr i’m gonna be in a cast for a month dominant hand 😂
The doctors just told me my ribs are fully healed after 8 is days, I told them I had eaten daily Sea Coral, I had displaced fractured in two ribs.

Hi lucifer, so how long did it take for the callus to form? I am in a brace after a midshaft humerus fracture. 3 weeks into it now
@@fasteddie363 it took about 6 weeks for callus to start forming for me:)

How are you now
I broke my right tibia fibula 3weeks now, its healing gradually except wrong size of metal insertion that was put during the surgery.
I'm going through an incident now. My pinky left finger hand swollen hand and pinky finger fracture broken . And I'm in a cast now.
Had a fatal accident sustained a fracture on my leg , thats the tibai and fibula, had the surgery done , and the bone has started healing.i ve been home for seven weeks now.
How can you have a fatal accident and write this? Are you a ghost? Fatal means dead!
I’m 17, fractured my 2nd metatarsal 12 weeks ago as of 11 days from now. Went to the doctors 5 days ago, got an x-ray, and Ute still broken. Praying it’ll heal soon but damn; I hate the boot.
Thanks for sharing. Sending healing vibes your way! 🙌🙌🙌

I have a question bro hope you can give advice, before my femur facture I was a smoker (ciggerites) will this slow down my recovering process???

How are you now
Are you able to go back to gym with lighter weights now?
Hope you are recovering well
I just broke mine 3 days ago ...
Great information, thank you 👍
5 months it took 3 bones in my foot in 2017 to heal.
My broken ankle took around 4 till 5 months after having physio
I had a 3rd and 4th metacarpel spiral fracture from a fall on a dry ski slope. The fractures were stable so was put in a cast without surgery. Now 7 weeks post fracture. Have full mobility back and probably up to about 50% strength returned but this is improving all the time.

I'm still wondering if I made the right choice.
hey are you back to normal life?

Hi Nate... Fom Somalia... I almost broke my ankle.. That is why i am here.
I hope this information was helpful to you!
how do you almost break a bone, though? either the trauma was severe enough that it broke your bone, or it wasn't. how do you discern about "almost"? according to you, i probably almost broke my ankle 10000 times in my life.
I'm 55 yrs old, & this is my FIRST time breaking a bone. 2 weeks ago I lost my balance in my back yard, fell backwards, & tried to catch myself. How many days it took for you to walk?
I have dislocated shoulder chiropractor just arrange two weeks ago.how long I recover all my movements in my shoulder and arm.thank you so much for your reply🙏
Depending on the severity of the injury, it could take a few months to fully recover. Movement can return quickly, but be prone to re-injury if you're not carful. Check with your doctor for a more clear timeline and so he can guide you throughout your recovery. Best of luck to your full recovery bro!
May22/24 It is now Dec6/24 Nobody has told me eff about what to expect. Humerus cap break(ortho said LAWSUIT) SO HE IS NOT WORKING ON IT. I never broke a bone before so all this is new. You told me more than my DOCTORS DID. That will be 28 weeks. Good, back to skydiving without a chute.(seriously, I will treat lawn weeds with respect)
I fractured, my tibia and my fibula at church camp , so I had to get surgery done.

Hi I have a sprung neck and three crack bones in the front part of the neck under the root to I want to know is there any spacial medicines that can heal a broken neck bone back to it's health 🤔🤔🤔💊💊💊💊💊💊
I’m 31 I broke my wrist 7 weeks ago I didn’t do surgery just a cast the doctor said my bones lined up perfect but no callus forming is it healing slowly or do I need surgery??
I’m 31 and broke my wrist too 7 weeks ago. My bone is 95% aligned. It seems like surgery is only necessary for alignment (so you’re good), just be patient for it to calcify.
@@gillroygarlic3616 ok great 🙏🏾 really hope so
Open displaced Monteggia fracture ulnar and dislocated radius with internal fixation. Nov 12th 2021 and as of today it’s not healed and today is March 4 2022 and I have a malunion or nonunion. Looking like I might be getting it broken and reset again. I’ll know on the 9th of this month.
Also broke my elbow on the other arm(left) at age 11 and it took 6 weeks in a cast to heal.

How about if not smoking but somewhat exposed to 2nd hand smoke? Is there a risk?

No problem!
I have to have reconstructive surgery on both legs. The femor bones of both legs, will that be same between 6 to 8 weeks?
I had a 5th metacarpal fracture on the last week of January. Had open reduction fixation surgery with 4 pins first week of February, due to the bone breaking in 3 pieces. Went back to work without restrictions mid april so almost 2 months recovery but my grip strength was at 50% at the time and was working toward strengthening it. Then.....first week of june i break the same bone...but this time a displaced fracture. My Dr did a closed reduction, and 3 pins. Lets see how long it takes since is a refractured of the same spot withing 4 months.
Wishing you a speedy recovery and sending positive recovery vibes your way!!! 🙌🙌🙌
@@PhysioFood thank you brother
i have same fractured bone due to motorcycle accident. but i did went to surgery, just put a mold cement arround my feet ang legs. Just wanna ask if its natural that your finger on feet flex on its own. Because I usually experience and its very painful. I am in 2 weeks from the accident. Please I need your advise. Thank you.
My 85 yr old mom fell and broke her arm high up the arm between the elbow and Deltoid more towards the Deltoid, the hospital did not put rods inside her arm just a plastic cast wrap, does no rods mean its not that bad.
Possibly... Or the doctors may have determined that the putting rods inside her arm procedure may be too invasive for her current health. Follow up with her doctor to be sure. 💯
How are u now
same also fractured my humerus... and I agree the bone healing is the easy part. regaining strength, and being able to do the things you usually do takes time. its been four months and I still can't full do a straight upward arm stretch. and the last time I went to the dr., he said it will heal on its own.

Any advice?
I have tribia fractured with natural healing with cast.today is my 3 months.but doctor said ill be back to reduce the cast below the knee......
