How soon after a fracture can you start the exercises? And do you do them in or out of the sling?

Hello,how many weeks need after posterior wall fracture to healing bone,i mean after surgery.

Broke my femur in 1994 at the age of almost 6 in a fall from the top of a jungle gym. I remember everything about that ordeal. The sensation was most eerie in the way that my leg felt like it was on a noticeably declining surface while it was infact on flat ground. The only recollection I have of any pain was when the paramedics rolled my on my side to slide the board under to lift me up to the stretcher but they warned me that part will hurt. Based on the X-ray that I saw, I'd compare it mostly to the 'oblique fracture (displaced)' near the start of this video, but i was a diagonal break similar the one shown in the 'nondisplaced' image. I spent 3 months in a one and one half hip spica cast and a few weeks after that regaining strength in my legs with the aid of a walker.

I have a question bro hope you can give advice, before my femur facture I was a smoker (ciggerites) will this slow down my recovering process???

I was in a head-on collision as a passenger a fractured my right femur, patellar fracture-dislocation, and ostomy surgery due to ruptured intestines. 2 months have passed and I'm starting walk and put weight on my leg more and more everyday. May22/24 It is now Dec6/24 Nobody has told me eff about what to expect. Humerus cap break(ortho said LAWSUIT) SO HE IS NOT WORKING ON IT. I never broke a bone before so all this is new. You told me more than my DOCTORS DID. That will be 28 weeks. Good, back to skydiving without a chute.(seriously, I will treat lawn weeds with respect)

Fractured my leg in 2021 it's 2024 I'm having troubles with my knee ND ankles ND my feet swell alot ,can't walk, stand, sit with legs hanging for long.. I always elevate, I can't kneel and squats, I still use my walking stick...😢😢

I have to have reconstructive surgery on both legs. The femor bones of both legs, will that be same between 6 to 8 weeks?

Had a fatal accident sustained a fracture on my leg , thats the tibai and fibula, had the surgery done , and the bone has started healing.i ve been home for seven weeks now.

I spained my finger then after four days of not knowing i broke my finger the doctor said to go to the emergency room now and they the put me in a plaster they they transport me to a different hospital now I suffering for 6 to 12 weeks please give me like for support!

Hi am i the only 1 watching this lately on 2024!...just broke my left collarbone 6 week ago n have become anew member of the fam😊....the dctr told me just to wear a figre of 8 strap along with the sling for natural healing without surgery,,,guys the first few weeks was damn painful cant even change ma shirt,,,,but patience is everything,,with time luckily the pain got decrease day by day,,,but till now i can feel the sharp edge of my collarbone with my hand😢

Day 1 of a pretty savage bicep strain / tear. I'm not sure if it's grade 1 or 2, luckily not grade 3 popped off so glad not having to have surgery, will keep you posted on recovery time have seen GP immediately, I stopped work immediately no need to soldier on, besides far too painful to even consider, Advised ice pack after first aid wrapping with a bandage to stabilize the muscle tear. Very painful.

had this injury my mri readings are as below - "Complete tear of the right rectus femoris muscle at its tendinous origin from the anterior inferior iliac spine with surrounding edema. Mild edematous changes in the right iliacus muscle along its origin from its iliac fossa." this is 3 months ago currently I have started my rihabitaton want to know I can restore this to the original really need your help

Hi! I broke my collar bone almost 12 years ago, I got surgery done fixed it and removed the screws. The only problme is that I was young and dumb and never went through physical therapy. Now im 32 and Iven been experiencing shoulder blade pain and soreness/nerve pain from time to time. Can I still rehab my shoulder?? thanks
