    I doubt many could do that on the planet. I could not place the trimmer on the back of my head using a mirror, forgot about actually trimming anything, because the trimmer won't even reach the hair. Kudos to you.

    Thank you for this great tutorial. I want to ask - is it possible to do step 1 (forming the line) with the second machine you used? Or is it best to do it with a similar machine as the first (silver) one you used? I don't know the correct terminology for these machines, so I hope my question makes sense.

    • @YourBBQ
      @YourBBQ 2 роки тому +1

      Both machines he used are called clippers :), but more specifically, the first pair are commonly known as T-liners.
      Yes, you can use the second pair of clippers (the adjustable setting) but oftentimes you won't be able to get as close to the head, or, in barber-speak, bald, as you can with the T-liner.
      The T liner is for sharp and precise movements, such as when you get a line-up or make edges in the hairline or beard. Hope this helped!

    • @Scentedstyle
      @Scentedstyle  4 роки тому +11

      I completely understand the frustration, it takes practice to hold the clippers behind your head and cut just by looking at the mirror.
      I believe in you and I know you will eventually have a perfect technique in no time because if I can don’t it you can do it

    • @Scentedstyle
      @Scentedstyle  4 роки тому +1

      Correct. The 1 1/2 I used to remove the no 1 but it does create another line depending on you hair length, just use no. 2 open to remove any line left from the 1 1/2
