By this logic, I guess you must not be travelling in any automobiles in India. Because absolutely all automobiles have parts that have been imported. On a serious note, stop this nonsensical localisation bullshit in the name of patriotism. Other countries are more adept at making stuff than us at a lower cost and better quality. Accept that. Even if the Pixel starts being assembled in India, about 90% of its parts will still be imported. So how does it matter? After all, India has a lot of strengths, like textiles and agriculture. We export a lot of that. Be proud of that. Not of the fact that the Pixel will be assembled in India.
AI AI AI is not the reason you should buy Pixel... You should buy a phone with Processor Processor Processor...!!! Because upcoming Snapdragon processor is much better with AI...
Dude you didn't talk about Price which is most crucial thing it is overpriced in terms of configuration does it provides ip68? Glass5? Only AI justified the price?
Even though it has a 50mp camera, it only takes shots in 12 MP's. It's something Google can possibly change with software updates but it's not yet done, don't know why.
I am using it from 3 months ... ALSO I SWITCHED FROM IPHONE 12 ....not disappointed at all 🔥🔥 the phone is really handy in real life ..the camera is kind of on the dark side but it's okay
What about performance, battery life, network reception and heat management. The most basic requirements of a smartphone. AI AI AI ka achaar nikal le bas ?
Network is fine with the pixel in my area, heating issue is slightly still there but it is the same level of heating as my moto edge 30 ultra so I'll let it go. And yeaa its not a performance centric phone but it must last about 4 years cool
The only thing I am surprised is that google is sticking to Tensar...Though it can make way better phones with SnapDragon and focus on their software game...where they can do wonders...
I recently bought pixel 8 and yes it's Amazing with the photos , decent video quality . Only issue is it heats up but for standard user like me , It's not worrisome. Also the processor is fine. Some people commenting here doesn't even have those top notch phones (processors) who get to dislike Tensor. It does its job well. I mean if you want anything complex to be handled fast , then go get a PC or even if you are a gamer then get ASUS or something else . Samsung and IPhone and Google are better for user experience and have their own advantages. Google lacks behind in processing but it's stock android feeling is awesome. So in a nutshell , you wouldn't feel that you are lacking behind in anything because pixel does it's job well in day to day usage .
Even without seeing video i can guess it like 1. Camera 2. Ai 3. Software experience... I have seen number of reviews and 3 reasons not to buy pixel are 1. Connectivity 2. Heating 3. Processor
Pixel is a very good phone and really captures nice pictures and videos and has wonderful interface but the issues I faced is 1. Overheating within a year of usage 2. No dedicated service centers but it’s handled by 3rd party and service by them is not that great as they returned me the phone without any service and overheating issues 3. Low resale value for the premium price paid So considering all these you can make your decision to buy or not buy
Im using pixel 8 and here is my review - So everything is great about it, camera is top-notch, good screen, smooth phone overall. BUT IF YOU WANT TO PLAY GAMES LIKE BGMI, GENSHIN IMPACT, then its NOT FOR YOU. Those kind of games lags. I would rather go with chinese phones if im gamer and have low budget.
I have both iphone 12 mini and pixel..but to be Frank iphone beats pixel in both photos as well as videos easily. Pixel photos have low brightness and are only good for portrait shots.
I am getting pixel 8 for around 33k INR in the USA. Should I get that or choose pixel 7 which I am also getting for 25k INR in the USA. (Best buy, open box)
Why is no one talking about poor battery life, useless widgets, screen bleeding a green tint randomly, poor videos capturing capabilities and the expensive price stamp?
4th Poor or worst after sale service.... All these years Google didn't even consider improving after sale service in India. 5th Kachada chipset. Do you think that poor chipset will last for 7 yrs .Instead of renamed Exynos they should have gone with 8th Gen 2 (over clocked). Then I think maybe most of the people gone with pixel .
5 Reasons not to buy Pixel phones 1) Poor Charging speed with no Charger in the Box 2) Poor Processor not recommended for long term use. 3)Bad Battery backup 4) No back cover or screen guard availability at many places 5) Not for gaming
Camera images looks like black and white. I had pixel 7A and most of the pics looks dull and colourless. Of course the contrast is good but not to the liking of everybody. Most people would prefer vibrant images.
Pixel is not actually peak android..IMO... Other android skin let you control way better, for e.g. you can't disable the internet for selected apps in pixel (or samsung), no default app lock, no secure folder in pixel ( google photos locked folder is using ur lockscreen), most of all, I hate the pill shaped control center, old ui was way better with separate wifi and mobile net toggles.
3 IMPORTANT reasons to not buy pixels in India: 1. Always warm in normal usage.(on mobile data) 2. Severe throttling under high load. 3. Network signals always weaker compared against other androids.
getting a pixel 7 pro is more worth it than a base 8, unless you don't like the size. I'd wait until the base 8 price drops because right now, it's not worth it.
Just ask yourselves, do you really need this much processing and camera hardware orr would you like most of your money with you and get a decent phone with decent power that you actually need
After buying OnePlus 11 that too 16/256 gb variant all i have to say it that I regret every day and night. I should have gone with the pixel. My mobiles processor is the only thing I'm happy on
I bro wana buy a mobile for creating instagram reels and video editing ...concused between iphone or pixel 8 ....pls help me to choose best mobile ....

The ringtone volume of pixel phones are so low that you can’t hear the phone ringing if you’re sitting in the next room. That’s one reason I don’t like it
One reason not to buy: not enough money

Can't wait for Nothing Phone to catch up to pixel. Software experience is already so good , now its just the camera and video recording.

Fun Fact : you can see the ad of pixel 8 in the video
