+MrFysik I think they are coyly referencing Norm's interviewing style, both are fine but Adam is enthusiastic to HEAR about a subject, Norm likes to TALK about a subject.
v1d300 unfortunately no your not the only one that can not see there entire belief system comes from a logical fallacy I’ll leave it to you to guess which ones!
+Edgar Honestly, Tested is one of my favourite channels on UA-cam. It consistently uploads high quality and long content. I mean some weeks you get something like 5 interesting 20 minute+ videos it feels like.
+Joseph Kroon the content tends to be better every month with little splatters of ver y special interest topics in it..but then you discover a new one day build and all is good again
This was a great video. That attention to detail is amazing. And Adam's glee over the bits and pieces is infectious. Loved the weight consideration on the Hasselblad. :)
+Daniel G: Good observation and I totally agree. Adam is truly a genius - even socially! Social skills like Adam's should be the norm - not the exception. Also, mad respect for the skills of these two gentlemen. And I really envy a person who can make a living by doing what he/she is passionate about. Damn.
I love how Adam can be so enthusiastic and at the same time respectful when doing these segments. He does a great job of allowing the person of interest to talk.
I always love seing Adam getting truly excited about things, so many TV/UA-cam shows where it's clearly just a job for them, but with Adam you can just feel it right away. And a nice story about a man who gets to do his passion as a living, and does it amazingly well.
"Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life." Ryan has turned his passion into a career. Very fortunate indeed. Keep up the good work Ryan, Adam and Tested.
NEW TESTED CAST MEMBER PLEASE THANK YOU! Great video lads, very awesome, I could watch this type of content ALL DAY! Also everytime he was like "oh, yeah they are for you..." I wanted to cry, your friendship is so beautiful xD
This is my favourite Tested by far. Not just because I'm interested in this stuff, it's more to the fact it's 2 nice guys talking about something they are both hugely fanatical about. Good job guys.
This was pretty amazing to watch after seeing the shop tour. It just kept going and going with even greater details coming to light. Tested, please continue a series of videos with Adam and Ryan as the current replica project progresses!
I think the thing I like most about this video is the amazing passion that Adam brings to Tested. His energy and excitement are so contagious. I have never given Apollo spacesuits a single thought, but after watching this video I have this strange urge to own or at least wear one. As for Ryan, he brings such a humble and down to earth attitude to some absolutely incredibly detailed work. I agree, we need to see more of Ryan on Tested. Keep up the awesome work guys.
I really like ryan he seems like a super humble guy with a real love for his craft! i would love to see more videos with him in the future making stuff!
Wow... just wow! I haven't got enough words to tell you how impressed I am with your work. It's truly exciting to see enthusiasts demonstrate their incredible skills (and attention to detail!). I look forward to seeing more of your work!
Although I like things related to the space, what I liked the most is to see how passionate they are about what they do. This is something inspiring and I really wish I can find something that I enjoy that much.
Imagine the possibilities if Adam and Ryan had work studios next to each other. They would probably build a whole army. I made noises when I saw the portable life support...
I know a lot of people love tested just cause of adam, and I normally try to do posts with love for norm and stuff. But damn, having two makers nerd out of each others stuff just gives a nice feeling when I watch it.
The best way to weather it may be to put some dust into a tray on the floor/outside, then put the suit on and mess around with it (kneel into it, wipe loose off with lunar gloves, etc). That way the dust will go "where it should" and may look like a more natural result.
Nicest most humble guy ever. Wish him all the luck going forward, but somehow I don't think he'll need it. I'd like to see a lot more of Ryan on Tested.
I love these shop videos! More!!! And mad props to Adam for giving Ryan, a shyer person, so much attention. To describe these two persons with a word "fascinating" is an understatement. :)
This was very cool and fascinating. It is always a pleasure to watch a video made by someone who is genuinely enthusiastic about what they are presenting.
That is absolutely fascinating. The attention to detail and the pride and precision put into each of the replica suits is outstanding. To see someone of Adam's stature and prop experience, still geek out, gets me laughing and geeking out too! This was an amazing, in-depth video and I can't wait to see more about this particular series. I think content like this can and will inspire future generations to actually want to design next-generation spacesuits. Keep up the excellent work, guys! Exceptional video!
Very cool guys! You embody the words of captain Picard "We work to better ourselves and the rest of mankind", love the shares, keep it up and live long and prosper!
I met this guy, or a guy wearing one of his suits at an RPF party a couple years ago. Not sure because he never opened his helmet visor, lol. You have to respect the amount of work Ryan does to make these replicas a reality.
So, then, does this suit date back to before Ryan developed his 3F logo? I see A-L markings on the hose connections. Or maybe just the connectors were pieces he had already made... Also, phantom hand at 9:33, ha!
I like how Adam lets Ryan talk for the most part and not try to take control
+Alex Lanzi
Like, ahem, someone else we know..?
yes haha
Enlighten me please.
+MrFysik I think they are coyly referencing Norm's interviewing style, both are fine but Adam is enthusiastic to HEAR about a subject, Norm likes to TALK about a subject.
*cough* Norm *cough* not me....
I love how Adam freaks out about the smallest things. It's so amazing to see how passionate he is about these things.
Am I the only one who finds Ryan Nagata really inspiring? The passion he has for his art is beautiful and inspiring. Thank you Adam for this.
+v1d300 Thank you so much!
+3F Studios you sir definitely deserve more subscribers
+3F Studios oh so 3F studio is Ryan's channel ?
Sub'd :)
+3F Studios You should get someone to make you a intro video, to show off your amazing skills man.
That ray-gun is dope :)
v1d300 unfortunately no your not the only one that can not see there entire belief system comes from a logical fallacy I’ll leave it to you to guess which ones!
I'm starting to be really impressed by the content on Tested; this video is as satisfying as an episode on TV
+Joseph Kroon Things seem to have really taken off since Mythbusters ended
+Edgar Honestly, Tested is one of my favourite channels on UA-cam. It consistently uploads high quality and long content. I mean some weeks you get something like 5 interesting 20 minute+ videos it feels like.
+Joseph Kroon
the content tends to be better every month with little splatters of ver y special interest topics in it..but then you discover a new one day build and all is good again
+Joseph Kroon Im sure adam's actual tv experience helps significantly.
That being said the camerawork and lighting is always exceptional.
"I don't flock"
This just had me in stitches. Ryan is awesome.
This was a great video. That attention to detail is amazing. And Adam's glee over the bits and pieces is infectious. Loved the weight consideration on the Hasselblad. :)
+Mike Wood All I want is for someone to look at me the way Adam looks at those gloves. haha
+Daniel G: Good observation and I totally agree. Adam is truly a genius - even socially! Social skills like Adam's should be the norm - not the exception.

It's nice to see Adam giving Ryan that much exposure for his amazing replica.
Mr Nagata is responsible for the best Jurassic Park Tour Brochure out there. We JP fans salute you sir
This guy has some major skills.
Thanks Adam & Ryan!
I always love seing Adam getting truly excited about things, so many TV/UA-cam shows where it's clearly just a job for them, but with Adam you can just feel it right away. And a nice story about a man who gets to do his passion as a living, and does it amazingly well.
Holy shit these two need a regular series together.
"Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life." Ryan has turned his passion into a career. Very fortunate indeed. Keep up the good work Ryan, Adam and Tested.

This is one of the best Tested videos I've seen lately.
I agree. One of the best.
Wow, those resin parts look amazing and the sewing is so clean!
These two guys together should have a TV show
26:12 "I'm Adam, this is Ryan and we are Tested." New Tested member? I really hope so, Ryan's work is incredible.
Haha, loved how he accounted for gravity with the camera!
I had the biggest grin on my face throughout the whole video. This is the kind of stuff that inspires and excites my creativity! Thanks for the video.
Thanks Tested, finally another long(ish) video for us to enjoy! What a great video!
This was pretty amazing to watch after seeing the shop tour. It just kept going and going with even greater details coming to light. Tested, please continue a series of videos with Adam and Ryan as the current replica project progresses!
So cool! The attention to detail is just stunning! The tricks for the camera mold were brilliant!
I think the thing I like most about this video is the amazing passion that Adam brings to Tested. His energy and excitement are so contagious. That workshop is inspiring. Love watching people who are not only skilled, but clearly just love doing creative stuff.
I really, genuinely like how quiet this episode is.
Although I like things related to the space, what I liked the most is to see how passionate they are about what they do. This is something inspiring and I really wish I can find something that I enjoy that much.
I like when Adam hosts videos
Imagine the possibilities if Adam and Ryan had work studios next to each other. They would probably build a whole army.
I made noises when I saw the portable life support...
I've been following Ryan's work on the RPF and CollectSpace forums for a while now. So nice to see him discussing how they're made. Great video!
I love how Adam emphasizes the benefits of collaborating and sharing knowledge. Synergy, friends!
Thanks for the video, i love seeing passionate people talking to each other.
This is the kind of videos I like to see, good job Ryan.
Adam should give this guy the patterns he lifted from 'the Martian' spacesuit.
im sure he will ask him for help one way or another!
Nope, I'm doing the Martian suits. They are neoprene, and mostly glued, very few stitches.
I always love when Adam hosting, straightforward question and not interupting the guest.
*adam juggling the camera*
That's yours
I know a lot of people love tested just cause of adam, and I normally try to do posts with love for norm and stuff.
But damn, having two makers nerd out of each others stuff just gives a nice feeling when I watch it.
great to see two guys with great passion discuss what they genuinely love!
why would you give this video a thumbs down? This is amazing!
Hayd'n Marquez haters gonna hate

well... the dust still wouldn't be flying around in 0 gravity like on the moon.
+Kyle Murdoxk Err, the Moon isn't zero gravity.
+Kyle Murdoxk 1/6 gravity. LOL
+Guy Smiley ok, it still wouldn't be 1/6th gravity.
Nicest most humble guy ever. Wish him all the luck going forward, but somehow I don't think he'll need it. I'd like to see a lot more of Ryan on Tested.
Love seeing a talented and passionate maker get a chance to dive into a hobby and make it into a full-time endeavor.
The amount of detail put into these things... astonishing.
Thank you Adam & Mr. Nagata for sharing these beautiful pieces.
Anytime you guys get a chance to do more stuff with this guy please film and share it, so amazing and fun to watch.
I don't know what it is, but the meets and build videos just makes you so happy and relaxed!
Really beautiful work and a treat to see the inside process. Thanks Mr Nagata and Tested!
His voice is sooooo relaxing!
would be really cool if he bought white jackets and converted them into Apollo suit inspire jackets, with the patches and pockets and a red collar
+Nick Here You mean as affordable casual wear?
+Nick Here I'd buy that.
i like this guy, underplays what he does and is rather quiet and humble, mad skills also
Great episode. Loved it. Can't wait to see the entire suit put together.
A Moon Rover full size replica is next! You know you want to!
That is absolutely fascinating. The attention to detail and the pride and precision put into each of the replica suits is outstanding. To see someone of Adam's stature and prop experience, still geek out, gets me laughing and geeking out too! Exceptional video!
Thank you for more space suit videos!
would it not be best to initially apply the weathering using an air brush ? and then dry brush?
This video was awesome! Thank you Adam, Ryan, and Tested! Keep it all up!
Love the passion and dedication. Great to see two together.
I'm am just blown away by what this guy can do! Totally blown away.
Hope you cover all the work you two do together! Super interesting and well presented.
This is one of the best videos on the channel.
I like this guy, He seems very humble and not cocky, unlike most
I can't get enough of these videos.
Love seeing people being passionate about their craft
Adam, these videos are great!!! Slowly becoming a maker myself (Model Kits / Figures) and these keep pushing me to do more making :)
Seriously nice work. The detail is fantastic.
awesome adam.. thanks for showing us his work!
Very cool guys! You embody the words of captain Picard "We work to better ourselves and the rest of mankind", love the shares, keep it up and live long and prosper!
He made the cameras at one-sixth actual weight. That's sick. I LIKE sick. Well done!!
I think Adam love almost everything!
That's so cool!
+William Jakespeare When Ryan said "like the propmakers do" at the beginning, I instantly thought of you, and when I scroll down BAM there you are :)
+William Jakespeare I read that in Adam's voice.
That is truely one of thr mist impressive things i havve ever seen
I met this guy, or a guy wearing one of his suits at an RPF party a couple years ago. Not sure because he never opened his helmet visor, lol. You have to respect the amount of work Ryan does to make these replicas a reality.
+ConductorRyan Wasn't me. The only prop party I went to was the LA one, and I never wore the suit.
This is sooooo fun to see and follow. Its just intresting. hope for a lot of new videos.
Amazing, and he is so humble as well
These videos are as good as it gets!
A true artist...thanks for sharing with us!
More Power to you Ryan, well done.
Adam! That wooden remote control unit is super cool! You should make a hillbilly space suit with wooden fittings like that!
Incredible, pure art if you ask me
"Junk in the trunk" 1:08
LOL
Wow,, so cool... Amazing work. Thank You Tested.
This is such quality content!!
If you have to ask how much it costs, you can't afford it. Seriously how do you price this level of craftsmanship? Nope I can't afford this.
it sound like he's does alot of trading .
It was built by the lowest bidder.
Love the Grand Tour poster in the background.
he should be a regular on tested
knew we would be seeing more from this shop
Joey, do you have a circular ND filter? Looks like some tricky lighting in there from a videographer stand point. Great video by the way enjoyed it.
Ryan did a great job presenting himself and all his knowledge, you can see that he is a bit camera shy but nevertheless hes doing a wonderful job
Awesome stuff!
Great video, loved it!
This is a crazy level of detail! Damn! :P
Dream profession! Great work!
So, then, does this suit date back to before Ryan developed his 3F logo? I see A-L markings on the hose connections. Or maybe just the connectors were pieces he had already made...
Also, phantom hand at 9:33, ha!
+Kelli Halliburton Yep. I already made the pieces and had the decals printed. Eventually I'll get around to making new decals. Very observant!
The expression "Moon Used" blows my mind that we actually have moon used stuff.
Great makers! Congratulations!
The Grand Tour poster in the background, all I can think of is Top Gear Now haha
