I’m sure they killed the wolves. Why ranchers don’t carry insurance on their calves is beyond me. Big bad wolf just surviving to appease hunger, while the big bad rancher surviving by making the wallet fatter. Build bigger fences if nature gets in the way of the money.

ranchers outside Yellowstone blamed wolves. a serious exam showed that 24 or 28 calf kills were grizzly, and the wolves just did what they do best: cleaned up the mess.

first of all this video is poorly made with images of the wolves from LASSEN (which has a collar ) and then saying they were never able to put a collar on them ..
Also pretty obvious they disappeared after ranchers found them eating a calf. Ranchers must have exterminated them.
Now they had that big HOG fire in Lassen county.. In the exact same territory where the Lassen pack lives. Hmmm

wolves are opportunistic and calves die naturally or are aborted all the time, especially in pine forests. the wolves get the blame. they get no chance to retort.

Good wolves would destroy what few deer and elk we have left.

Depends where you are at. Marin is over populated. Tuolumne and Calaveras seem over populated but are definitely increasing very quickly. Wolves and lions are good for weeding out the weak to make the herd strong, but first hand experience is lions will stalk us humans too. Wouldn't want to go up against a wolf pack.

@@benjaminbaez5843 Ya that's why you can find videos of wolves taking down healthy bull elk. Wolves are pack animals, they don't have to be selective in their prey. On top of that the wolves that made their way to California are native to Alaska and northern Canada. They are much larger. I recommend research on the matter. The facts are far from what people actually think.

@@jayrhoades6082 The wolves that made their way down there were from Northern Oregon. Best check your data. They are sure they were decendants of OR7
