    Slayer is on the revo chassis and comes in a 2.5 or 3.3 and the 3.3 chassis is longer then the 2.5 chassis

      That's right. Slayer 2.5 Slayer Pro 3.3. 👍

      @@Dre357 I convert my revos to slayers so I get reverse

    • @Dre357
      @Dre357  23 дні тому

      @DavidAnderson-gp1zu that's funny, because I thought about doing that myself with a spare Revo 2.5R. I was going to attempt to recreate the original Slayer. Reverse can definitely be useful a times though. Currently, only 2 of my nitros have reverse. I've just gotten use to not having it.

    Grate comparison. I wanted to ask you is the OS carb a needed upgrade in your opinion? Thanks for the video

    • @Dre357
      @Dre357  3 місяці тому +1

      @speedgears1236 thanks for the feedback. No. I don't believe it's needed. Just recommended. It makes tuning simpler and puts out better low end torque. That's been my experience. You could still get a decent tune with the stock carburetor though. Hope this helps!

    Ordering one as a treat for my first paycheck at my summer job. Boss said I could use the big field after the summer campers are gone for the weekend. Do you think I should go with 33% nitro or plain 20%?

    • @Dre357
      @Dre357  3 місяці тому +1

      @samleen that's awesome! I believe you'll love it! I use 20% in all my nitros. I say start off with 20%. 33% has a smaller tuning window making it more difficult to tune especially for newcomers. Good luck!

      @@Dre357 I tune small engines as a hobby. I bought one of those Chinese 4 cycle twins a year or so ago that uses the same type of carb. Would be fun to put that engine in it someday. 2.5hp after porting and lapping valves
