That "throttle trigger controls the air intake, not the fuel for acceleration" explanation was genius bro. You explain things so good and easy. Also bottom on the piston after shut down, you're a great nitro teacher man !

Hey Hybrid! I just got my first ever nitro for my birthday, A T-MAXX!!! Unfortunately here in Tucson it gets up to 100+ degrees everyday in the summer so Im gonna have to wait to break it in so I don't overheat anything. Long live the Nitro Gang!
I been learning on my slash I crashed it and cracked the motor been using it for parts and found one on offer up for about 180 fixed and has been running smooth since!! Hell yeah to nitros homie!!!

hey bro! ! Yes, this model is essentially a long version of the nitro rustler, with a nicer 3.3 engine. Here in the USA this model costs only about 20 Bucks more than the nitro rustler too btw. Great value.
I had one of these for 3 years now first problem I had was I burnt the clutch up but I mean it went through a lot of jumps burnouts and snow days. It might be the bearings in the clutch bell but I have to fix my real car for work so I can buy parts for my slash 😂😭

@@hybrid32494 Haven't done nitro since my Monster Gt and my Tmaxx but they have been in my storage building for 15 years. Kinda thinking a new Tmaxx. I have some of the baddest 8-12s rigs on the planet.
Crashed my rustler a couple days ago recked the block pretty much was making a run down my apartment complex and the car took a left for some reason idk why and went underneath a van the van chassis hit the head of the motor broke off the engine mount on the block tore up the brand new 2.5r head I some how saved it someone sent me a block from the nitro gang chat I also posted it the pictures and a video of it pretty gnarly hopefully this week I can get it back running
Just got the rcr crank and the fast eddy bearings in the spare block just got to the the sleeve and rod in might honestly wait and get just get a new sleeve already have a new rod
Would you go with this slash or the rustler for my first Nitro. I’m going to build the slash unassembled kit with my kiddos (it only comes in electric) and I want to buy my first nitro car soon after that. Since I’ll have an electric slash I’m thinking I should just get the nitro rustler. Do you have any thoughts or recommendations?
Hey man, that is a great question and something many people think about including me. Personally, I would go with this exact nitro slash instead of the rustler because you really want the longer chassis and the much better 3.3 engine. Don’t look at the style of the chassis as much as the features you get here and the 3.3 is a much better engine compared to the 2.5. They are in stock right now. I noticed you adjusted the low speed needle to change the idle. Does the 3.3 have a separate idle needle? My Nitro Rustler seems to not respond when turning the idle needle either way.
Here in Malaysia I can get the w speed baby 4WD woukd you recommend that. I've never had a Traxxas but thinking of getting one. Though a 1/5 Rovan is cheaper here in Malaysia but parts are hard to get.
I think a 2 speed baby Traxxas TMaxx is so much fun, and more places to drive it than a 2WD rovan Baja that will not want to go in a straight line off road

Why is your break in procedure so different than what Traxxas recommends????

Everyone has a method. His is much better in my opinion. The heat cycles in the beginning are important.
