10 years later and this is still one of the most rock solid drumlines I've ever had the pleasure of watching. This piece is like the ultimate cadence to me. Showcases each section perfectly

I could see someone making a case for Cadets tenors on the basis of their outstanding sound quality. But I think Coats had just as good quality but with harder notes. BD usually has the best tenor line, but I think they didn't sound quite as good as they usually do...Who is your top tenor line 2013?

there's a portion of the program where he's using the soft mallet side of the sticks to play something. I think its during one of the mello or some horn feature

Warming up? The recording is way too good for it to be a warm-up. Something's fishy...
They typically played this at the END of their warm up. Don't be too cynical.
some serious approach and head placement issues with the bassline.
I can play those singles in a drum but not a pad, much different feel. Trust me just get your singles up.

They're a good bassline. Mallet-head placement and strokes are not the same across the line. They were better in 2012. Still a good bassline. Sorry I hurt you so deeply.
