- I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughing. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
The Mule is now living in England Manchester. Retired 3 sons. Does stand up comedy in his spare time. Unfortunately no one dares laugh
LMAO....👍👍👍
too funny Russ Thanks for the really good late night good laugh!
I laughed didn’t mean to. Now I’m pissn and poopin our of the same hole.

One of the best lines in the history of cinema!
Getting gunned down means never having to say you're sorry.
One of my absolute favourite lines in the whole trilogy and especially this movie. Clint’s Delivery is BADASSS
My fvorite Clint Eastwood western movies is Two Mules For Sister Sarah then Fistfull Of Dollars
Great line, and in the context of the movie terrific psychology, the phrase ensured those guys were going to draw...
Not kidding.
Some Heroes don't wear capes they wear ponchos

brent clarke it’s a double cape.
What a legendary scene for the Western genre. Clint is one of the best movie stars in history
Yeah he can still make a good movie. Gran Turino and The Mule were awesome.
Clint Eastwood is great in his own right and I personally rate him at the 2nd best Western Actor, but I would rate John Wayne in the number 1 spot. It would have been a pleasure to see both in a movie together.
@@RobertJones-ux6nc
You are too kind. To John Wayne.
@@MR-intel Well, i have watched John most of my life and was introduced to his movies by my Grandpaw where as started watching Clint while in Grade School The Duke is one of my favorite actors along with Clint. But I have other great actor I like also like Robert Mitchum, Jimmy Stewart, Heny Fonda, Richard Boone, to name a few.
@@RobertJones-ux6nc I'm sorry. As much as I love John Wayne's work, he was never as versatile as Clint Eastwood. That's what makes Clint even more powerful when he does his thing. Hes not one note. I mean, Clint actually sang in Paint Your Wagon and he was pretty darn good
'I don't think it's nice, you laughin...' One of the greatest scenes of any movie. One of the greatest movies!
2 things you don't want to do to Clint Eastwood, laugh at his Mule & Don't ever try and Hang him.

The moment he swung the cape over his shoulders , the earth changed rotation so it was HIGH NOON at that town .
Reeshav Mohapatra because Clint likes to get his killing done after breakfast

I wonder how much of a boss that mule is if he sent his underling to get the apologies for him.
Lol. Right?
You gave me an actual laugh. Thanks.
I know your comment is old but it looks like we'll get to see more of this Mule. "The Mule", with Clint Eastwood. That Mule never did get his apology. He will.

My mother loved Clint Eastwood. We saw all his westerns in a Rambler at the drive-in movie theater on $5 a carload night.
Masterpiece of a movie directed by Sergio Leone, and music by Ennio Morricone 🇮🇹❤👍
The music is the other star of the scene. Magnificent.
Stole it from Akira Korosawa's Yojimbo. Even the music is similar
Mules have feelings too. Thanks for standing up for them.
My favorite scene! The audio and video were recorded separately. That's how they could change movie to multiple languages for different countries and many of the actors didn't speak any English at all. Every sound was added later. Since the sound wasn't being recorded during filming Clint said there were people right off camera talking, laughing, throwing frizbees around and what not. He said that made him mad which made his acting easier.
Obviously not true what you are saying: They didn't have frizbees in the western era.

Randall Highsmith lol that’s great
1:57 is a genius piece of directing, acting, and cinematography all coming together to create the perfect moment.
Proper elegant cutting without fancy gimmicks or effects, just a camera having a certain POV to aid the telling of the scene. No slow-motion needed and the scene still stands up well today. Filmmakers could learn many things from this scene. Leone, like Weir and Lean really know how to use camera position and editing to cut a beautiful scene together. Other directors too, but it’s mostly a forgotten art at this point. Directors should study more older movies.
Yes. With Ennio's little musical flute flourish just as Clint looks up...masterpiece!
