Thanks for buying this so that we don't have to... a very clear review. A nice idea poorly executed by the makers. Living in the UK - locking knives are not legal for everyday carry which rules out this ( and pretty much all Leatherman and most Gerber tools). If only they had a locking screwdriver and slipjoint knife blades
That missing ferro rod is strange. Besides that, it could be a good “scout camp knife for kids that you aren’t too upset if it gets lost” type of tool.
i belive the reason why theres no ferro rod is to reduce the cost and time of delivery, cuz i got a signal clone (DKShadow) that you also rewiu, and the store that sell it on aliexprees say that they replace the ferrorod for a sharpening rod to reduce cost and shiping time.... you were lucky to get the ferro rod version, i would prefer the ferro rod insted the sharpening rod, but at least they giving you someting useful insted of nothing like this multitool ahhahaha
I think most of these adapters might work on the Gerber Truss. It's been awhile since I looked at my Truss but the adapter might fit on the Phillips driver. Gerber does sell an adapter bit set.
That's a weird tool, like it was designed by a committee where each member put his own tool onto it, kinda trying to be everything to everyone. A bit driver with removable bits strikes me as the last thing you want on an outdoors/camping/survival type multitool, too fiddly, too easy to use the bits plus trees don't have screws in them. Then they've gone full outdoor with the whistle and compass although I wouldn't trust that itty bitty button compass much. The other tools on it are not so well executed either. So I don't think it's competition for Gerber, Victorinox, or the Leatherman Signal, at least those have wood saws on them. Personally for outdoors use apart from a fixed blade or 2, I go for Victorinox, whether that be the Soldier 08, old GAK, or Farmer/Farmer X. Huntsman/Fieldmasters are good all rounders which serve well as urban and outdoor EDC. Thanks for the upload, always interesting to see those obscure multitools you are so good at finding.
@@hvacbudget8600 thank you for your honesty and your videos on multi tools because you give lots of insight on them... So what do you think of the Leatherman style cs??
@@hvacbudget8600 but are the scissors as good as the Micra? Also is there a Leatherman Micra that is made in China? Because I run into one that says it was manufactured in china! So I don't know if it is a fake or not!
@@Locoedc909 I actually only have the plier based style so I'm not sure about the Scissor based one compared to the Micra. I know there are copies of Leatherman's so if it says made in China I would steer away from that Micra.

It's the same as FREETIGER Multi-Functional Folding Knife.
I went to Jax and picked up the Steakout. Kinda liked it but then couldn't believe how badly the hinges opened. Like poorly torqued.
Have you seen the diacamping DL8 and DL16? received both today and they're pretty good. Especially the DL 7 for a smaller mt with all the bits
Yes, I believe they are renamed versions of tools I have previously reviewed.
Thanks

That is true! I like that idea!
Looks like a fail for all of the reasons you pointed out. Looks like it was meant to include a ferro rod, odd omission if not.

that appears to be overlaping with Roxon in both the seath and screwdriver, shame one can't say the same about quality
There is supposed to be a ferro rod glued into that spot. It might have fallen out maybe? If you look at the pictures it's on there.
Thanks for sharing, it's an absolute useless multitool, poorly executed.
It is fairly sadly done!
Thank you for an interesting view. Is it possible to buy a bit adapter (1/4" hex) that would work with the Gerber Truss?

@@hvacbudget8600 Thank you.
Beat the ACMs multi tools? Surely. Not the LMs, mate 😎😁
Why is it so hard to make a decent swiss army knife competitor?

Thanks for watching! I agree, it is oddly put together.
What an interesting tool !
The serrated blade and wobbly philips really are a TERRIBLE design.
The whistle is enormous !
So what you are saying is don't purchase this right?
Yes, LoL it's not very good.

@@Locoedc909 I like the Leatherman style. You can even get a bit driver attachment on ebay to fit in the carbiner.

Junk !!! Thumbs up button hit
I have to agree that looks like cheap crap i'm afraid.
Soooo.. no.
no more blades on multitools!
better to just include a knife with a removeable/disposable utility/craft blade.
Looks like cheap gas station garbage that's thrown in a bin that says 2 for $1.00
Escrevir
