Justice-era Hetfield had the best voice by far, but current-day Hetfield has the worst. I think Joey retained his voice a lot better than the rest. James lost his gruffness, Dave lost his snarl, and Tom lost any semblance of control over his voice.
Some supergroup ideas: 1. Dave Lombardo, James Hetfield, Dave Ellefson, Chris Broderick. 2. Shawn Drover, Tom Araya, Dave Mustaine, Scott Ian (Dave and Tom would trade vocals). Hell yeah.
