Semi Abstraction-Still Life Experiments-Stylising and Simplifying Form-Books-Semi Abstract Florals

In this Video I follow on from my last and explore semi abstraction further. Working in Oil paints (and painting my grounds in acrylics) I simplify, make wonky and stylise floral/vase studies! Experience painting with cats and my some of my art process. These fun still life experiments can also be done in acrylic paints, acrylic gouaches and flash paints if you fancy having a go at home. I show you how I use books to gather ideas and how looking at textile arts work which is already semi abstracted can be inspiring and help with ideas! I do love my fur babies! One of them walked all through the paint last week and we ended up having to wash in the bathtub and were not at all happy! Glad you enjoyed it Maria. Always lovely to get your feedback. I hope its sunny and lovely in your part of the world xxxx

@emmahundleby it is in the high 20s in Celsius, so wonderful but it also comes with mosquitoes, sadly lol

Mosquitos are not my favourite of animals and I love most animals😅. Vitamin B1 they hate citronella, lavender and tea tree. I mix any or all of essential oils in a body lotion and usually helps to not get bitten. Usually.
