How I get Colour Balance in my Paintings-Getting great Colour Harmony and Balance-Oil Painting

In this video I take an old half completed painting and talk you through how I achieve colour balance and harmony. I assess the painting and make adjustments and see where colours are too dominant or where there isn't enough as well as other design balance decisions. I look at a painting by Matisse and Grant Wood and their clever use of limited colour palettes and beautiful colour balance and how other arts work can help with your knowledge of colour harmony and balance.
