Stevie seemed really happy to be sharing the stage with Bob . Very touching . RIP Mr Welch , you were wonderful.
This song is bad ass and Stevie can’t help but feel it ❤
cocaine enthusiasm
@@willharm6143 bingo:) I wasn’t gonna say it but it’s very obvious it was an all nighter lol 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣☝️☝️☝️☝️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣☝️☝️☝️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻@@willharm6143
Bob Welch said he didn't know about the other ones, but he went to sleep @ 11:30 p.m., or so; when they got to the hotel.
He needed his sleep.
Bob sounded normal. He wasn't up all night.
Bob Welch kills it here. Not inducted into the Rock n Roll hall of fame with the others, that's just wrong!
I know. :( Such a shame.
He was a big part of them and some lesser talents got in.
He was only there for an album. I can understand it.
stevedrums, Bob Welch performed on 5 Fleetwood Mac albums from 1971-75. He was an important link to the band between the Peter Green era and the Buckingham/Nicks era. Not including Bob was VERY WRONG!!!
The Hall of Fame is remarkably inconsistent with that shit. The interview here shows exactly how important he was to The Mac. Fleetwood says how much of an impact it was on the band when he left.
Who's watching this May 2020 and wondering if we will ever be this Free again?
Well im watching on July 26 2020 and from where im located I dont see this happening in America unless enough of us stand up and flip the tables and demand this country get on track.
@@reason5591
I have to agree with you, we are in a very sad state and if Brave Americans do not stand together against what is trying to destroy us we shall be destroyed!
August 11 2020. Awesome video
@@reason5591 still waiting....
Watching this in October and still wondering that.
That guitar lead is freaking awesome!!!! Bob turns a pop song into a rock and roll song. Amazing.
Stevie Nicks looks more beautiful in this video than any if ever seen her in.
She was a FUCKN DRUG ADDICT, bro.
Agree.
She looks energetic and drug free!
@@jamesschmidlap305 like she said herself “ I always carried a gram of cocaine in my boot at all times. Without fail. It’s what I thought of the first thing in the morning when I woke up, and the last thing I thought of going to bed”. She was just honest.
@mreppen1 Been there myself! Some people kick it and some don't!
Bob really had a way to bring out the 'fun side' of Stevie, that's nice to see...
John L
I'm sure the copious amounts of cocaine helped, too. lol
Stevie is really funny
Stevie looks amazing in this video smiling and all over the stage with her tambourine. What a fox!
Yeah, she was really at her apex here - voice and so beautiful
Probably had not started on the drugs yet.
What I wouldnt give to have been there. RIP Bob, I wish that some day people will give you the credit you deserve
Stevie gives me goosebumps. Such an amazing woman.
Gorgeous woman
Stevie Nicks always looks so happy when performing with Bob Welch.
This is so wholesome 😭 This is exactly how music should be enjoyed and performed. Just vibe together. No egos. Just have fun.
and a shit ton of coke... so wholesome....
I envy everyone that got to see this live but at least I can watch this video 🥰
Her voice is perfect for this......
Her voice in this is significant, amps up the song even greater!
Pity her memory of the words was missing.
@@chookvalveno, she was doing a very Stevie-ish thing and picking the harmonies to add (which aren't even in the original version)
@user-nx4cb4qt3t yeah ok. Pity she didn’t KNOW the words then
What a great song. He and Stevie make a great harmony team.
I must of played this 45 a million times!
Me too! I think it’s their pure joy (and talent) that keeps drawing me in.
I don’t think I was born yet but I am watching in 2021 realizing that I won’t ever see a live concert with such vibes in person ever in my lifetime so I am grateful there’s old footage such as this that I can watch now. Thanks to my parents for blasting good music in our house ♥️.
They are having fun. Love this! Great song. He's dressed like Elton John and Stevie is joyous.
We found Waldo.
LOL that was hilarious
Hell yeah girl
Those were the days of freedom! I loved how they all were jamming as if no one cared! This is when the best comes out of people!
Stevie Nicks takes takes over as usual, she is always the focal point on stage
Yep, those darn Heliocopters!
Who could rock a concert at 10 am... the seventies were a crazy time! Happy to have been there, and remember most of it!
Wonder if Welch was just a bit annoyed at Stevie and Mick barging in on his set...
Val Williams As he met them at the hotel and from the video, it appears that their appearance was planned.
Bob Welch's vocal delivery reminds me of Steve Miller. In a good way.
Kevin Roberts Especially the Abracadabra era
I actually thought Steve sang this
Amen to that first time I heard it on the radio it I thought it was Steve Miller back in the day
Steve Miller Band, when I saw them in the seventies, would never play his songs the same way as on the albums. That always bummed me out.
0:36 I love how Stevie realized she was late to the mic for the harmony when the chorus kicks in.
I'm amazed ever time I come back to this. Miss you Bob Welch.
Can't believe it's already been 10 years this week since Bob Welch took his own life. His music lives own more than he probably could have realized it could during his darkest hours.
Definitely an underrated musician and the bridge that Fleetwood Mac NEEDED. His exclusion to the R and R HOF is a testament to what a piece of crap that HOF is............It is sad that he ended his own life, but I guess the pain was unbearable. Sad...........
@@donporter1187 I am so sad that ANY artists give credibility to the joke that is the R&R HOF. If more artists would stand against that travesty, things could improve.
They all loved Bob !
😔🥀
What a dark decision. I'm in hospice and it hurts when people choose to die. I miss him.
Bob Walsh wrote great hits for Mic and himself ...Hypnotized is an amazing song for it's time. And few catch its meaning
Back in the 70s Stevie Nicks was the bomb I think if your in your late 50s you agree !!!
I'm in my early mid 50s and I agree she was hot back then . But I am partial to women from my home state like Stevie and Linda Rondstandt
Great memories. We miss you Bob.
Back when rock and roll was king ......miss those days.
God I miss the 70’s
me too
Anyone else want to go back to 1978?
I would love to be 18 again only if I knew what I know now ✌
Only every freakin day
10 a.m. wake up call the former Fleetwood Mac frontman did not get inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame along with Fleetwood Mac is just ridiculous rest in peace Bob thanks for the great Tunes!
Just a brill video that I keep coming back to watch. Such a feel good song followed by hillarious interview. Always makes me dance, smile and laugh.
Bob was so happy
At 2:28 it looks like Bob dumps out Mick's drink! This video captures a great moment in time! Todd Sharp's solo is great!
I was there 1978
Arturo Martinez wow, really great video, song while they were still young
I am sure it was AWESOME!!!
@Dan Bertucci They played in July 78 at JFK stadium in Philly. Lineup-
Sanford and Townsend
Bob Welch
Steve Miller
Fleetwood Mac
One YT poster said that he snuck in by a broken gate and that he still has his untorn ticket stub from that day.
you were so lucky...damn!!
I saw them on this tour with Bob Welch joining them at The Cleveland Stadium. An electrifying performance! What a treat. Back then it was party time all the time, funny thing there really was plants up on the stage.
WORLD SERIES OF ROCK AUGUST 78!!!!!!
I love how she just pushes the guitar player out of the way lol
With that smile on his face I don't think he minded too much!
What a bully LOL
Yeah Stevie Nicks wanted the mic and he couldn't get out of the way fast enough more like it!
And she had her nose in some white "candy," too.
Doug Durrum ?
I have loved this song for a while now and I never knew that Stevie was in this video with him oh my godddd!!!!
I loved all Bob Welch, who wrote and played great hit songs. He was very underrated.
What a great live version of this classic with the bonus of Stevie Nicks and Mick Fleetwood.
Amazing, Bob, Stevie and Mick, miss those days
I loved Bob Welch and his time with the mac is my favorite iteration of the band.
Amazing! She's the most attractive woman in the music planet.
Maria Guarisco she super prettg lady
Stevie was HOT!!!
I totally agree with you she looks gorgeous. Peace.
At that time yes
@Korbon Dallas OMG whatever!!!!!!!!
Stevie Nicks smile is so contagious💗💗😍😍
Your lines got me dancing
1 of my personal favorites
Great song. Comment from Taiwan.
Bob excellent..Stevie..OMG this woman is from a different planet..ICON..XX
What a rare gem this is !!!
Jeff Conaway interviewing my favorites!
I don't think a lot of people noticed him in the comments.
The happiness & feeling of freedom here is electric! Love it! ❤
I hear the hippiness AND love of GREAT 👍 🎶 music I your post... Glad to see that people still LOVE great music!! 🎶 ✌ Peace out!! ❤
We will have that back
Such positive energy radiating from beautiful souls!!!
Amazing Stevie Nicks gorgeous, pretty and beautiful in 1978. " Ebony eyes " by Bob Welch, joined by Mick Fleetwood and Stevie Nicks. Fleetwood Mac has plenty, of time to regret not including Bob Welch, into the Rock and Roll, hall of fame. Peace.
Why? The very young Stevie blows the OLD trooper of the stage!
3:02 is why Stevie rocks.
2:05 is best :)
Love, Love, love....thank you for your awesome music...that I cherish all of my life...
Long live Stevie!...
I love this band and Bob and rock music in general at this time
God Bless you Bob and you too Jeff. Rest in peace you guys.
Wow! Did anyone notice that the guy interviewing them , is Actor Jeff Conaway from , The 1980s t.v. series," Taxi".
He was terrible I hated when he said instant super stars!!! Glad Stevie put him in his place
So very cool.days real live performance!!!Bob Welch was so excellent! Super talented.
Todd Sharp from Hall & Oates' band on lead. Excellent guitarist.
Might be a silly question…which one is Todd? Is he the guy sharing the mic with Stevie?
Wake up Call! We miss you Bob Welch!
when I was 10 years old, I saw the Eagles Live, it was really WOW and when I was younger really wanted to go to Vietnam and to see this original American Art.. is just so classic, where did time go and why can't people just have fun
Stevie is on top of the world in this video
Do you see her realizing that Geek Bob Welsh had magic with his guitar...SOMETHING NO ONE ELSE HAS HAD/ A STYLE OF HIS OWN
Cocaine will do that to you. 😃
What a great reunion
Bob Welch will be remembered and, he will be missed.
I saw F MAC, 1977 JFK stadium, a hungover Saturday! I was not a happy mildly stoned rockah!
Now this is talent and one hell of song at that.
It was really sad to see him go... RIP Bob...
Such a great tune, and Stevie Nicks!
Bob Welch was a special man god bless him RIP
Amazing guitar solo.
Tod Sharp.
This interview is so great. "No, please don't hurt me!!" LMAO
Bob was a HUGE link to thee Fleetwood Mac Chain
I was there..............
Great 🎸 and singer...👍zu früh von uns gegangen...rest in peace. ⚘️
I know we all get older and that time isn't always good to us. But this is when Stevie was really rock'n
. Now you pay good money to watch her twirl!!!
35 years ago, my wife was a spitting-image of Stevie Nicks...and FAR better behaved. I got to keep her for all these years...and the song's not bad, either!
The interviewer asked some incisive questions, which Bob, Stevie, and Mick answered directly and well. It is interesting to note the difference from many interviews conducted today, where a certain defensiveness tends, or trends to reign. Musically, Bob Welch was an excellent song writer, guitarist, and performer. "Sentimental Lady", "Angel", "Future Games", "Bermuda Triangle", "Hypnotized", "Miles Away" and "Night Watch" are significant contributions to the Fleetwood Mac sound.
Todd's solo on this is absolutely epic!
Which one is Todd? The one with the black guitar (sharing mic with Stevie)?
@@Steph-hk7ik yes
Thank you! 😀
Todd who?
@@williamfindlay8831 the legendary Todd Sharp!
So, he takes off his guitar to demonstrate to the audience the most spastic dance in the universe.
A definite spaz.
@@bnikrictus609 I think Mick told him he ought to go down to the front. Because after Mick spoke to him that's where he went down and did that dumb dance.
🤣
It has to be exaggerated so the 200,000 people in the middle and back can see him. Its called showmanship.
He had a degree in Theater and Dance. He knew what he was doing.
That lead was killer. Great song.
THat was Todd Sharpe
Ah, those days of youth!
Who watching in 2021❤️🔉🎶❤️
I use to work with a woman that resembled Stevie. Always brought me back to this song and era.
Stevie forgot she had to sing lol. Luckily the guitarist was there. LOVE this performance.
I was there, but unfortunately arrived a little late and Bob was just finishing up with this great hit. When I look at the footage at 3:53, I can't believe I was in the middle of a crowd that size ! I remember the hot air balloon at 3:30 read "Buddy Holly Lives" Too cool
Arrived late ?? You fucked up !!
How were you in the middle of the crowd if you arrived late, and towards the end of the song? What a bullshit story.
She was so beautiful. I love this song
These 2 are awesome 2gether😮!!!
This is great..best of the best
RIP Bob play on🎶🎶👍🏻👍🏻😇😇
The Stevie I’ll always remember 😍🎶
RIP Bob. No more back pain.
This just too cool
Stevie just made this look so much better
I played this song 4x in a row....and now I dig it
Love this song 78
Jeff Conway: High as a kite...lol..
Hardly smh
Sniff sniff!
Awesome intro guitar riff on this ! Sounds just like the single, great live vocals by Bob. Cool to see his friends out there as well. AND Bobby Wheeler was there too, where's Latka and Reverend Jim??
Great song, great album!
That’s awesome.
Lol the heelicopters
