A ton of fun without getting him/herself in a world of trouble if they push this car. Chevy built a bit of understeer into the Stingray for this very reason. It will compensate for a combination of over-enthusiasm and lack of skill. This car is a blast to drive without scaring the crap out of the typical driver and their stressing their skill level. This will change with the Z06 / ZR1 models where actual driving dynamics knowledge and skill will be more important for the owners. GM has hit a Grandslam Home Run with the C8 Corvette.

I can see it being comfortable for daily commutes but I still think it should be louder but maybe with a butterfly system that way you can choose when it’s loud

I’m 6’2” and it all depends on the torso to be honest. For example my friend and I are the same height and when he sits in the Aventador he has a lot of head room where as I don’t. So I think someone taller can but there’s a chance it’ll start getting tight

The C8: Shakespeare said in Julius Cesar, "Beware the Ides of March." Say what...??? How does this relate. With all the amazing You Tube information, I had to search a lot before I looked up the information supplied by Tremec themselves about the transmission and then found a You Tuber who discovered that on some, if not all C8's, (I've had one of two people mention this, so it is not a fact, but it needs to be presented) are approximately two quarts low on the eight-speed dual clutch transmission. There is a warning somewhere to have the transmission checked for its level and then to add the proper amount of a special fluid sold by GM and perhaps other suppliers. It costs somewhere in the neighborhood of 100.00 for two quarts. Then, there is the warning not to make any mistake while taking the interior trim apart to get to the transmission, to measure the level. The primary mistake according to a You Tube vlogger is the bolts (some say nuts) that exist on the transmission. Remove just one of these and the engine's transmission is ruined requiring a new one. (Doesn't make any sense, but that's the warning). Apparently, a gold color on top of the bolt signifies the proper bolt to unscrew to access the fill-hole. And, please do not forget the two filters on the 8090 Tremec. The internal one is lifetime. The external one requires change at 20,000 miles. Also, as part of the break-in period, the oil level requires checking after every second gasoline fill up, if driven to below a quarter of a tank of gas. Those are the quirks and features as Doug would say of the break-in and pre-tracking checks (along with brake ducting) that require installation prior to tracking, which is not to be done until 1,500 miles of break-in are past. Clearly, according to video evidence, there are a few C8 owners who have not followed the GM suggested and mandated break-in procedure. AF

While the young eschew old people and don't even consider them, there are many more old people who buy and drive new Corvettes than there are young people who were buying a stick shift C7. Old people have saved money all of their lives and now they are in the position to drop 69-105K on a new Corvette without endangering their family fortune or insurance. Plus people who never thought a two seat car would be for them. Then they try the car and they can't believe the comfort. The car has a few odd problems, but there are surprisingly few. They are to be expected with a new car. Most if not all construction problems can be fixed. Hope that GM doesn't provide a disappearing warranty. I enjoy driving the new Corvette as well. I also don't care if it rivals a Ferrari, Lambo, McLaren or even a Porsche, which has a lot of allure to people who like all around cars. The C8. It's here. It is going to get better. People love it. They want it. Two happenstances prevented it from having a record release for a sports car. Push ahead GM. You have found the right direction. And, keep innovating. AF
