Dear Viewers. Please note the dry bonding and wet bonding technique comparison is done with respect to 4th Gen Bonding agents. To know more about the recent generations of Bonding agents, Please do watch the 1st video on Dentin Bonding agent at this link- ua-cam.com/video/j9RHlD08EyI/v-deo.html
I m using 5th generation bonding adhesive(Bond) using selective etch instead of Total Etch and then applying bonding adhesive on moist enamel n dentin, air dry for 20 sec, cure for 20 sec, apply composite in increments and curing each increment for 20 secs... Believe me all my composite restorations are successful since 8 years... I never ever etch dentin I. My every case of compo restoration
Dr Manjeet sing. Thank you for sharing your experience. And I have also mentioned the same in my first video of Dentin Bonding agent which was released few years back. Currently literature support the selective etch technique. Since this video was about old generations , I have not spoken the other aspects which are already covered in my first video. :)
Sir, these explanations are amazing I would say..Sir, You're covering everything and what fascinates me the most is that you explain with facts. I've saved all your videos in my playlist and I've made a goal of watching 4-5 videos daily. It's really helping me to improve. Thank you Sir for your time and effort.. ❤️❤️❤️

Sir does hydrophillic part of primer binds to gic in sandwhich technique? Cox in sandwhich technique we apply gic over dentine before putting composite.. how does primer works in sandwhich technique?
Hello sir...Watching your channel since I was a student...I have started my own channel too since 4months... if you dont mind could you suggest me websites where I could get copyright free dental images... its a struggle to find them. I use pixabay and pexels. Love your content sir.
Great to know. I did saw few of them and they are really well. I try to get pics from unsplash and pxfuel.. you get most.of the pics. I do take few from google and put it with the authors name for credits. Best wishes :) Its more about content than the design !
Happy to hear that.. Aspire32 is full of such videos which can help you understand better :). Do Subscribe :) Is there any other topic which you find difficult ?
Sir I have seen and used only one bonding agent in clinic for both enamel nd dentin Than what is difference between dentin bonding agent and enamel bonding agent Are they different agents Pls explain?
Primer has both hydrophobic and hydrophilic end. On side it penetrates the dentin and enamel which is hydrophilc and the other side it bonds to composite which is hydrophobic. But composite is thick, so u need less viscous resin to penetrate the primed dentin and enamel. Thats done with adhesive which is basically less viscous resin. And over this the composite bonds
It.does.not make hydrophobic.. the hydrophilic end bonds to towards the dentin side and hydrophobic end is now open on the other side to bond with adhesive

@@Aspire32 Yes Sir pls keep inspiring us..
Excellent video. Very informative
Glad it was helpful!
Great video sir...u r the best...keep doing more sir...
Thank you Ajay :)
Respect for this kind of content👍
So glad to hear this helped :) do visit video section
This video is amazing . Thank you for this amazing content and making it so simple to understand ♥️

Sir .can you please explain about the surface tension in a little detail ..how does it increase the surface tension .?
I understand its difficult. But its more of a physics.. I am sure youtube will have many videos on surface tension. Have you tried searching one ??
@@Aspire32 yes I have ..but I can't seem to wrap my head around ..how the primer increases the surface tension of dentin ?

big thanks from marroco arabia you are the best teacher
thank you sir a lot of it is kind of generosity thank you again

Sir does hydrophillic part of primer binds to gic in sandwhich technique? Cox in sandwhich technique we apply gic over dentine before putting composite.. how does primer works in sandwhich technique?
Composite bonds to gic micromechanically. It causes micro porosities and bonding agent penetrates it
I have made sandwiche technique video. Do watch on Aspire32
very clear video, great explanation, thanks a lot

Thank you so much for the clear explanation sir!
Most welcome :)
Sir i have a doubt, why is primer application not much important for enamel?
Because enamel has very little content and less hydrophobic and has more microprorosities
Excellent Thanks
Most welcome :)

Sir, which monomer makes hydrophilic dentin hydrophobic?
HEMa
It.does.not make hydrophobic.. the hydrophilic end bonds to towards the dentin side and hydrophobic end is now open on the other side to bond with adhesive
Thankyou soo muchh
Nyc lecture sir....Sir plz do a lecture on calcium hydroxide, MTA and biodentine..Thank you sir
Yes. Will note it down :)
where is the link for 6 and 7 generations?

Sir, Adesion is separate one? Or it is composite itself calling Adhesion
I did not get you. Can you please elaborate your question ?
Amazing thank you
