I m suffering from same thing since 9 months but as he said that believe yourself that you are recovering from it... I did the same and literally recovered from it 80%.. I was facing severe depression with Anhedonia.... And believe me, in that situation you just want to suicide... But I tried hard and never loss my hope... Today I m working on my depression as well as doing business greatly, outing with friends and living a maintained life. Friends it is all about your believes and will power with lots of positivity, family and friends support, meditation.... Definitely you will get out of it surely without medication... @@daminisingh1110 I have gone through this all last year. I can suggest a small thing, don't think whatever the result will be just keep studying and try to keep your mind calm. Or just take a small break and then when you feel you're ready then start studying. Because I have done the same mistakes last year but you need to understand dear that your mental health is much more important than any of the exam.
I'm from South India and I listen Gurubani everyday before starting my studies and I love to listen it... Each and every meaning of the words of it make me happy from inside...

After this video I want share My experience with u all Past 4 months I think I was depressed the reason is simple because due to opening my clg after 1.5 years and mainly I living with my family atleast 2 years and I think my home is comfort zone for me And suddenly All things change. I living with my friends in Delhi at starting days it tough for me to meet new people in college. And the most important thing is that I don't know of people as well as I've a problem after looks other people I just comparing others with me and I thinking that they judge me and it goes me more depressed but I try to handle. All of this is wonderful advice. Depression can seem insurmountable, but once you take more control of your life, that will help, and build and build. Small steps, one at a time. Be more in the present, and don't try not to focus on past OR future too much. I loved the way he said he learned a lot and cherished even the depression. Everything is a learning experience! I too think back (only about 1 year ago) to when I was at absolute bottom, and now I see it as something that had to happen, and made me a better person. Sometimes you must let even pain flow through you. See it as clouds drifting by.......
I have been suffering from depression and anxiety disorders for the last 8 years. And I think some of the main causes of depression are 1- over-ambition that you don't think you can fulfill. 2- Negative thinking. 3- The pressure of society. 4- Lack of people to talk open-mindedly Etc.

0:36 My heart broked when vivek bro cried😒,as he is the most charismatic being that I have seen since last two years,I wish that you had uploaded this video a couple of months ago ,because at that time I was diaganosed as a BPD patient or manic depression I took antidepressants along with mood stabilizers like lithium tablets and another pill for anxiety controll for months no much improvement always sleepy, giddiness due to the heavy sedation ,I was a charismatic one with high energy but slowly I started becoming an introvert and I was lonely most of the time ,all my besties flew away from me I was like a used coco-cola can no one even asked me about my current situation when I say anything in my family my cousins used to make fun of me,that time I was doing my 12 th cbse class ,it was a bit tough I had seperate tuitions, weekends I had the entrance classes(brilliant) I dont know how I managed it Everyday I had the morning pill ,After taking it I was so sleepy all the way in the bus & in the lectures(almost 3 hour per subject for the entrance) and used to get scolded for unnecessary things,that thing taught me that dont judge a person without knowing the true story behind his side(empathy).I had a frnd only she understood me she was truely a gods child she was an angel when my life was in dark. Time passed the situation gone even worse I started crying for small things ,I crawled my pillow and put my face and weeped for hours .That time I understood that you can make company even with non living things like your pillow ,teddy etc (in my case) .I was not able to go ahead,it was unbearable then I went to my mother hugged her kissed her violently and broke down and said her ma I was no more able to bear this pain do something for me or I will end up my life ,I felt my voice was so husky & something was blocked in my throat .Next day she hold my hands and took me to a nearby psychologist ,she referred me to a retired clinical psychiatrist ,Dr. rediaganosed me with clinical depression .Then my mother took me to a nearby traditional yoga thearppy class centre ,It changed my life, slowly I was feeling better then I started having healthy eating habit by watching your channel & my realtive channel skinny recipes ,I did yoga Asanas for 1 hour in morning & 30 mnts pranyam & prayer in the evening on a strictly daily basis , my medications stopped ,I skipped refinned products mostly preferred natural organic products , attended the Inner engineering program of Sadhguru ,Now I am totally good living a blissfull life ,got new companys.As Fit tuber says when I lokk back in my dark phase of my life I thank god thatI was able to understand the unconditional love of my parents,and the different type of peoples .I started to write two lins but my fingers typed away,Thanks you for sjowing your patience for reading my comment ,I wish it will be a bit motivation for a good bew year ,Thank god for all this little happiness that you gave 💖😊.

Your breath is directly related to your mind [brain] causing negative thoughts and anxiety For a relaxed life sit on a chair, back erect, hands on lap with palms upwards, eyes closed, be still and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for around 5-10-15 minutes or more. Slowly negative thoughts will reduce and relax the mind. Deep inhalation is not needed. Whenever you are free during the day or night before sleep sit or lie down still before sleep and observe your breath. Being still reduces negative thoughts. I was in depression in 2nd year of my Engineering. I was 20 years old that time. I usually used to be afraid to get out of my room and go to college. I ended up spending most of my time on bed alone overthinking. I had completely lost faith in myself and thought that there is no one to understand me. Now I am 23. When I look back at that time, I think that since I was away from home for the first time in hostel, I lost my spirit and courage due to which this happened. Now I feel more independent and strong young adult looking forward to crush challenges life will throw at me. I don't want to avoid challenges, I want to face and crush them. I AM STRONG !!!
Totally second this from my own personal experience as well - I am now thankful for having gone through depression in the past which is when I learnt the most about myself, my purpose here, life in general & grew from with in. I have gone through depression all my childhood as well, which was no fun though.
I have suffered from depression for a long time but 2019 proved to be a turning point in my life...when I decided I do not have the option to die and also I do not want to live like this...it is then I did most of the things mentioned by you in your video and yes, meditation and books reading played a crucial role...I could connect deeply with the line when you said that you cherish that low phase of your life as that was truely a learning experience. Yes...I also feel blessed to have experienced it which led me to the path of spirituality. Now, I am teaching meditation to many people and inspiring those who are suffering from this dis-ease🙏

@@mdshabbiralam1001 1) First get determined to overcome this situation and accept that only I can help myself...others can just support me 2) Inform your close ones about your decision and get as much support as you can. Do not feel pity on yourself. For eg. I did not felt like going out of my house...I asked my husband and mom-in-law to push me everyday and even go out with me for a walk 3) Meditate - it would be helpful if you can find a place where you can do group meditation, as it has immense energy and you would not feel the strong urge to give up...I was lucky to find a place where free meditation sessions are done regularly near my home (Currently I am also associated with this cause). 4) Reading good books (not the story books). "You can heal your life" by Louis Hay is a motivating book, which gives you the confidence that only we are responsible for all our bodily/mental/emotions dis-ease and how by working on our thought process, we can change our life. 5) Bk Shivani's videos on UA-cam also helped me a lot in shaping my thoughts and working on my rigid belief system. 6) All the other pointers mentioned by Vivek in this video hold good. 7) We need to make sure not to leave our mind open with random thoughts. Books and good videos will give our mind the content to replace our junk thoughts and beliefs with new improved ones (training our mind to NOT get lured by destructive thoughts is the key to coming out of depression). Please feel free to get any point clarified or any other suggestion, if you require. I will be more than happy to help someone overcome this dis-ease and get their lives back on track. Cheers

2 months before I was suffering from severe clinical depression...it took a week to realise that it was depression and as soon as I realized I wanted to overcome and become the happy healthy person who I was used to be...first I began to watch religious and motivational videos over the counter...it helped to certain level but then I realized I need medical help I went to psychiatrist how prescribed some medicines and some meditation...I didn't took a single pill ...I started doing s lots of exercise..I went outside though I was feeling horrible doing it at the beginning..I spent time with kids in my family ..I started doing things which I liked to do..and most importantly I assigned some really important task to myself to keep me busy and feel really important for this world ... family supported as well alhamdulillah today I am absolutely fine .

For me the fire element is so crucial. I always feel low and depressed for no reason when there is no Sun. Like during monsoon and winters. Even a ray of sunlight lifts my mood.

@@Balleza_brioche Mine was a very serious one. At one point I wanted to come out of it but my body was not allowing it. Continuous shivering of body and absolutely no sleep at all for a week. My body was getting habitual of no sleep. At that point I got admitted. They injected and made me sleep for two days straight. I was fine afterthat. But was hospitalised for 10 days. And lil medicine for 6 months. I said I could relate to this video because. When I was in depression I use to feel good whenever I took hot bath. I literally use to sit in the bathroom for many times a day. To the point if I say. All that he mentioned in the video helps. But you only come out of the depression when you truly decide that you wanted to. :)
So true, I never had thoughts of suicide(by God's grace) but I have no idea why the hell was I breathing either. I can't function properly, my memory , reading skills all have taken a downhill roll. I can't concentrate on anything more than 5 mins before being distracted. Let's not even talk about the non-existent self-esteem.

@@daminisingh1110 I have gone through this all last year. I can suggest a small thing, don't think whatever the result will be just keep studying and try to keep your mind calm. Or just take a small break and then when you feel you're ready then start studying. Because I have done the same mistakes last year but you need to understand dear that your mental health is much more important than any of the exam.
I'm from South India and I listen Gurubani everyday before starting my studies and I love to listen it... Each and every meaning of the words of it make me happy from inside...

Past 4 months I think I was depressed the reason is simple because due to opening my clg after 1.5 years and mainly I living with my family atleast 2 years and I think my home is comfort zone for me And suddenly All things change. I living with my friends in Delhi at starting days it tough for me to meet new people in college. And the most important thing is that I don't know of people as well as I've a problem after looks other people I just comparing others with me and I thinking that they judge me and it goes me more depressed but I try to handle. The whole experience is Wonderful but Many of times it's thought come in mind And Negativity comes to me. Many of times I feel so low , I feel plz anyone talk to me and Help me But I know "Humari jab tk koi help nhi kar skta jab hum khud apni help na kare "But I'm so thankful Fittuber and other content creator who helps us to rid from these types of problems and I'm not sure I'm out of my depression stage or not but I know that How to Leaves these negative thoughts from self . 0:36 My heart broked when vivek bro cried😒,as he is the most charismatic being that I have seen since last two years,I wish that you had uploaded this video a couple of months ago ,because at that time I was diaganosed as a BPD patient or manic depression I took antidepressants along with mood stabilizers like lithium tablets and another pill for anxiety controll for months no much improvement always sleepy, giddiness due to the heavy sedation ,I was a charismatic one with high energy but slowly I started becoming an introvert and I was lonely most of the time ,all my besties flew away from me I was like a used coco-cola can no one even asked me about my current situation when I say anything in my family my cousins used to make fun of me,that time I was doing my 12 th cbse class ,it was a bit tough I had seperate tuitions, weekends I had the entrance classes(brilliant) I dont know how I managed it Everyday I had the morning pill ,After taking it I was so sleepy all the way in the bus & in the lectures(almost 3 hour per subject for the entrance) and used to get scolded for unnecessary things,that thing taught me that dont judge a person without knowing the true story behind his side(empathy).I had a frnd only she understood me she was truely a gods child she was an angel when my life was in dark. Time passed the situation gone even worse I started crying for small things ,I crawled my pillow and put my face and weeped for hours .That time I understood that you can make company even with non living things like your pillow ,teddy etc (in my case) .I was not able to go ahead,it was unbearable then I went to my mother hugged her kissed her violently and broke down and said her ma I was no more able to bear this pain do something for me or I will end up my life ,I felt my voice was so husky & something was blocked in my throat .Next day she hold my hands and took me to a nearby psychologist ,she referred me to a retired clinical psychiatrist ,Dr. rediaganosed me with clinical depression .Then my mother took me to a nearby traditional yoga thearppy class centre ,It changed my life, slowly I was feeling better then I started having healthy eating habit by watching your channel & my realtive channel skinny recipes ,I did yoga Asanas for 1 hour in morning & 30 mnts pranyam & prayer in the evening on a strictly daily basis , my medications stopped ,I skipped refinned products mostly preferred natural organic products , attended the Inner engineering program of Sadhguru ,Now I am totally good living a blissfull life ,got new companys.As Fit tuber says when I lokk back in my dark phase of my life I thank god thatI was able to understand the unconditional love of my parents,and the different type of peoples .I started to write two lins but my fingers typed away,Thanks you for sjowing your patience for reading my comment ,I wish it will be a bit motivation for a good bew year ,Thank god for all this little happiness that you gave 💖😊.

Your breath is directly related to your mind [brain] causing negative thoughts and anxiety For a relaxed life sit on a chair, back erect, hands on lap with palms upwards, eyes closed, be still and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for around 5-10-15 minutes or more. Slowly negative thoughts will reduce and relax the mind. Deep inhalation is not needed. I was in depression in 2nd year of my Engineering. I was 20 years old that time. I usually used to be afraid to get out of my room and go to college. I ended up spending most of my time on bed alone overthinking. I had completely lost faith in myself and thought that there is no one to understand me.
Now I am 23. When I look back at that time, I think that since I was away from home for the first time in hostel, I lost my spirit and courage due to which this happened. Now I feel more independent and strong young adult looking forward to crush challenges life will throw at me. I don't want to avoid challenges, I want to face and crush them. I AM STRONG !!!

I have gone through depression all my childhood as well, which was no fun though.

I have suffered from depression for a long time but 2019 proved to be a turning point in my life...when I decided I do not have the option to die and also I do not want to live like this...it is then I did most of the things mentioned by you in your video and yes, meditation and books reading played a crucial role...I could connect deeply with the line when you said that you cherish that low phase of your life as that was truely a learning experience. Yes...I also feel blessed to have experienced it which led me to the path of spirituality. Now, I am teaching meditation to many people and inspiring those who are suffering from this dis-ease🙏

Now I live my life with full zeal...and that too in 8-9 months of time...but it happened only when I got determined that I do not want to continue living in this miserable state...group meditations helped a lot.

2) Inform your close ones about your decision and get as much support as you can. Do not feel pity on yourself. For eg. I did not felt like going out of my house...I asked my husband and mom-in-law to push me everyday and even go out with me for a walk
3) Meditate - it would be helpful if you can find a place where you can do group meditation, as it has immense energy and you would not feel the strong urge to give up...I was lucky to find a place where free meditation sessions are done regularly near my home (Currently I am also associated with this cause).
4) Reading good books (not the story books). "You can heal your life" by Louis Hay is a motivating book, which gives you the confidence that only we are responsible for all our bodily/mental/emotions dis-ease and how by working on our thought process, we can change our life.
5) Bk Shivani's videos on UA-cam also helped me a lot in shaping my thoughts and working on my rigid belief system.
6) All the other pointers mentioned by Vivek in this video hold good.
7) We need to make sure not to leave our mind open with random thoughts. Books and good videos will give our mind the content to replace our junk thoughts and beliefs with new improved ones (training our mind to NOT get lured by destructive thoughts is the key to coming out of depression).
Please feel free to get any point clarified or any other suggestion, if you require. I will be more than happy to help someone overcome this dis-ease and get their lives back on track. Cheers

2 months before I was suffering from severe clinical depression...it took a week to realise that it was depression and as soon as I realized I wanted to overcome and become the happy healthy person who I was used to be...first I began to watch religious and motivational videos over the counter...it helped to certain level but then I realized I need medical help I went to psychiatrist how prescribed some medicines and some meditation...I didn't took a single pill ...I started doing s lots of exercise..I went outside though I was feeling horrible doing it at the beginning..I spent time with kids in my family ..I started doing things which I liked to do..and most importantly I assigned some really important task to myself to keep me busy and feel really important for this world ... family supported as well alhamdulillah today I am absolutely fine .

@@Balleza_brioche Mine was a very serious one. At one point I wanted to come out of it but my body was not allowing it. Continuous shivering of body and absolutely no sleep at all for a week. My body was getting habitual of no sleep. At that point I got admitted. They injected and made me sleep for two days straight. I was fine afterthat. But was hospitalised for 10 days. And lil medicine for 6 months. I said I could relate to this video because. When I was in depression I use to feel good whenever I took hot bath. I literally use to sit in the bathroom for many times a day.
To the point if I say. All that he mentioned in the video helps. But you only come out of the depression when you truly decide that you wanted to. :)

So true, I never had thoughts of suicide(by God's grace) but I have no idea why the hell was I breathing either. I can't function properly, my memory , reading skills all have taken a downhill roll. I can't concentrate on anything more than 5 mins before being distracted. Let's not even talk about the non-existent self-esteem.

Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives good relief from stress-anxiety. To relax sit on a chair or lie down, neck straight, eyes closed and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 5-10-15 minutes or more. Don’t fight your thoughts. With daily practice the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Do the practice without any expectations when taking a walk, before sleep, in school, at work, when reading, etc. Like me, make this a lifetime daily habit to have a better life. Reduce negative social media, take morning sunlight walks and avoid constipation as it affects the mind instantly. Best wishes--Counsellor.
