i really love the dwight-jim-pam relationship i laugh at jim's pranks, and i love it even more when dwight does something against them too jim and pam can make fun of dwight, he's not an easy guy, he's extremely individualistic at the beginning of the show, and wouldn't think twice about firing a coworker, however, when things are tough, pam and jim are always there for him, and vice versa, I think the friendship they have is incredible
"You don't know Yoda" . lol. well you don't know that Frank Oz does the voice of both Yoda and Fozzie Bear? So Ryan's response was a super cool nerd reference. :)
One of my favorite small moments in this episode is when Dwight fist pump cheers when the Fire Truck shows up. Probably one of my most used Office themed gifs.
Wasn't thinking about how early into the show that they still are and briefly thought we were getting a certain other fire drill episode. Ahhh well. Eventually.
I just hope they don't jump on the hate bandwagon for Pam.... The office fans don't like Pam bc she's so raw and genuine. Like most of us she isn't perfect, she's insecure, confused, not brave enough. And that's why I love her so much. She's so real ❤️
@@AI_underscore she can be rude... But people forget shes supposed to have flaws like literally every character on the show. I think people dislike her because her flaws become more apparent after a few seasons and she has less stuff to like about her. Also, they spend the first few seasons idealizing her, hyping her up, etc for the wrong reasons "shes insecure, lonely and sad ): i love her" but after she gets with Jim, shes no longer those things and people stop liking her as much. I feel like shes likeable because she "needs" and is "wanted" by Jim but after she gets him, its like "ok why are you still whiney and sad?" ... because Jim isnt supposed to fix her flaws but people dont get that. Also, Jim has like no flaws so theyre harder on her (+ she cheated on her fiance, is a "pick me", leads jim on, bullies Dwight and michael, is pathetic, etc) They write jim and pam to be the only normal ones but the others are just different, complex, strange and you start to love them for those reasons so then jim and pam become the boring ones lol Ok i spent way too much time thinking about all of this but hopefully it makes sense idk i like all the characters, theyre supposed to be have flaws.
You guys are better then my work when it comes to a fire. Pre pandemic when we were in the office if the alarm went off we would just sit there looking at each going “do we need to leave”. Was up to out fire wardens to tell us to move!
I thought the frozen donkey wheel was season 3 too!! My dad is in the middle of rewatching Lost and when he finished s3, I was like “…oh, I guess it’s season 4.”
Chris I’ll just say buckle up for the Jim and Pam shit. It’s the slow burn of slow burns. Best to just let go of expectation and let the chips fall where they will as it goes, bc… that shit’s molasses lol … but also Chris’s comment about Steve Carell’s performance makes me so happy bc it is sooo, so detail-oriented and the little body language cues you picked up on are the things that make him more than just a flat one-dimensional idiot stick of a character. I love that you said this. His portrayal of Michael is incredible.
7:26 The dude with the shades is named Devon, just like his actor. Same with Phyllis, Angela, Oscar, and Creed. We see Devon shown and called out by Michael at the Dundies and he's in the background until the Halloween episode this season.
I just binge watched all of your "Office" reactions (almost 2x5 is next). Now what? I have to wait and watch a new single episode a week, bummer. Thanks it's been a fun few hours.
not really, no. As many "good" qualities Michael have, he has twice as many that would lead anyone to want to strangle him (or at least quit working there)
For movies, I might pick Return of the Jedi & Return of the King. I know the story of both trilogies well enough to remember the rest of the story, but I would still want the sweet flavor of victory in the last movie of both trilogies. For the others, I guess I might pick Amelie, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Donnie Darko, or maybe the Big Lebowski. It's hard to pick 5.
Interstellar is a phenomenal film but it is absolutely not the movie I'd want to be watching stranded alone on an island. That is a one-way ticket to Depression Town.
The thing about the 5 movies is kind of hard because it can't just be good movies, it has to be good movies that doesn't get tired on repeat viewings. So...Inception, Tenet, rush hour, Robocop and Terminator 2 or Predator. Because if the world happens to end while I'm on the island, Arnold's legacy needs to be preserved!
I'm actually from north east PA, wilkesbarre. Like 10 minutes south of scranton lol its a fun town on St Pat's. All the cool shit (if ya like nature and old shit like I do) is in the hills of the area
Hey Guys, luv the channel...For me i had to pick 3 desert island blurays...The Dark Knight, Terminator and Anchorman for comedy...another comedy would be either Stepbrothers or Dodgeball😂😊
Half Blood Prince was published in 2005, the same year the first season of The Office aired, so they wouldn't have access to Deathly Hallows until Season 4 of The Office.
honestly my love for this show has grown more than anything because of the office ladies podcast the small details and the fact that most of everything is scripted is insane
Mickey "I love small, quaint towns like this." Scranton, city of 76,000 and the Scranton-Wilkes Barr metro area of over half a million people is in no way a small, quaint town.
We need a video about how you all met and what exactly Normies headquarters is... or maybe was? Like it seems you used to be a workplace for something before the reactions. Maybe there was a video about that, but I missed it.
Steve Carell is an amazing actor and did a genius job portraying Michael Scott, but those nuances you mentioned (how he behaves in front of the camera and how "unlikeable" he could get because of that) come straight from David Brent, the original version of the character in The Office from UK, played by Ricky Gervais. He did all that before, and I think he was even more annoying than Michael.
Hey! Marietta has a population of 13.5k people! We will be taking Micky now.
Hi
I know you're joking but Blind Wave and The Normies reacting to something (like a movie) together would be insane.
Wow...didn't expect Blind Wave's comments here...would love to see a collaboration between these 2 channels for one crazy Office episode! 😇
Blind Wave the GOATS!!!
Is this a crossover episode?
i really love the dwight-jim-pam relationship

Very true!
@@ricardo.01 dwight's evolution is so perfect, he's an amazing friend
*The beginning fire discussion* is one of the reasons why I subscribe to The Normies. The stories they share are always a thrill.
Interesting, I always wondered if people like you actually existed
Yeah and it was all particularly on point this video imo.
I´m loving these Office reactions so much!
Looks like a LGBTQ Community
@@TombMen huh?
Mike was promoted to a position where the best parts of his skill set didn't really translate to his new job.
Just a reminder that Ryan started the fire. Never forget
"You don't know Yoda" . lol. well you don't know that Frank Oz does the voice of both Yoda and Fozzie Bear? So Ryan's response was a super cool nerd reference. :)
Man the journey Ryan has in this show is actually exhausting. Also RYAN STARTED THE FIRE (I'll let the Kevin versions slide till that episode)
One of my favorite small moments in this episode is when Dwight fist pump cheers when the Fire Truck shows up. Probably one of my most used Office themed gifs.
I love Jim and Pam. It’s called a slow-burn.
Yes! Steve Carrel’s nuanced performance gives Michael so many layers and this is why the show is timeless and perfect.
the blind wave reference at the beginning 😂
I had missed the part where Dwight had chosen "The Crow" for the movie! I love the character even more now.
We would love to see Office reactions twice a week!
Suraj here with the cultured Plinkett reference.
Wasn't thinking about how early into the show that they still are and briefly thought we were getting a certain other fire drill episode. Ahhh well. Eventually.
Wait until you get to the real fire in next few seasons 😂
Truly the cold open of all time

@uggggggghhhhh shit compared to the rest of the characters, some passive aggressiveness is pretty tame. Especially that pencil guy. Always hated him

Legally Blonde is an excellent movie.
I love it when you guys reference other reaction channels, it feels so meta to me lol
Clicked as soon as I saw Office and Normies. Love the show and your reactions. ❤️ Love from India. 🇮🇳
Wait for Episode 7. You'll understand why and how Michael is where he is. 😌 The Chili's sale is a peak moment!!
when I first watched this episode, i could not believe something this funny existed lol
Yoda and Fozzy Bear are both voiced by Frank Oz.
"RYAN STARTED THE FIRE!!!" - Iconic!
Great reaction once again Normies!
Fozzie Bear and Yoda are voiced by the same actor.
Yep, the great and talented Frank Oz. So, Michael wasn't too far off the mark.
I thought the frozen donkey wheel was season 3 too!! My dad is in the middle of rewatching Lost and when he finished s3, I was like “…oh, I guess it’s season 4.”

I would want all 3 extended Lord of the Rings on a desert island
I'm not going to your deserted island.. unless.. I'll watch your LOTR, if you watch my favorite movie Ink, from 2009.
All the Tolkien's books about that whole world is what I would take as I've watched LOTR extended cut plenty of time.
Good choices, but I will have to probably go with some really good comedy.. since it is a deserted island
🤮
@@mastixencounter yeah, that’s about what I would expect for a response of a 5 year old lol
I was really excited until I remembered that this is not the episode in which they Save Bandit.
Pride and Prejudice
Catching Fire

- There's a fire.
- Potential for an explosion.
- Suraj : I better record this on my phone!
Speaking of blindwave I hope you guys do more collabs with them please
My favorite part of the "Who Would You Do" convo was Roy saying, "Your All Gay"🤣😂

I know what you mean, they're only on Season 4 and I've been playing their playlist on a loop for God knows how many times.
Season 1 on Michael: Fuck this guy.
Season 8 on Michael: I would die for this guy.

I’m with Suraj! The LOST box set, for sure.
Ryan is so different in the first 2 seasons. Then, he really changes in the 4th season.
Oh yes I forgot Ryan waking up Michael's bisexual desires and it only gets worst (or better idk )lmaooo

I believe the thing on Dwight's steering wheel isnt an anti theft device, it helps you turn the wheel easier.
You guys have a "that's what she said" button? That's fucking genius! 😆😆
At this point I’m watching every Normies video to see them shit on Blind Wave at any opportunity 😭
Speaking of Halloween, Marketa definitely should dress up as Dwight 😆
The Big Lebowski and The Bladerunner Final Cut

They mention Marjorie in the episode. I think that might the mysterious women last seen in the Olympics episode.
Two movies on a desert island?... 1. Dances With Wolves (the extended version)... 2. 2001: A Space Odyssey.
4:05 also, can’t wait to see Micky get traded to Blind Wave.
Please NO.
I can't wait for the other fire episode

my two movies would be Titanic and School of Rock. everyone on the couch also had solid choices though. ❤
I wish we had these at least twice a week
Haven't seen any of Meredith's movies except Ghost.. I have no idea what Legends of the Fall and Bridges of Madison Country are about
Kind of specific, but love your shirt Chris!!
My 2 movies would be Interstellar and Batman the Dark Knight!
You'd just end up sad you'll never watch interstellar in IMAX again.
RYAN STARTED THE FIRE!
where is the hod reaction
I gotta say it.. As a native spanish speaker I wouldn't recommend marketa to use "Mamela" as her name xD.. You should look for it's meaning hahahah

Desert island movies gotta go with castaway and the Martian
Joe McCarthy, Richard Nixon, Studebaker Television, North Korea, South Korea, Marilyn Monroe!
RYAN STARTED THE FIRE
i would like to point out that scranton isnt really a small town. . . been there before, ,dont ask, ,its a good size town like 90 to 100k people
Since box sets aren't allowed my two DVDs would be Alien and Jackass the Movie.
I've been to Scranton, PA
