The other option is that when my wife asked me to make something for the house, amazingly I would need to buy a tool that I did not have to do the job.
@@celticwoodworking8706 lmao. I do the same thing. “Babe I CAN build you this, but it will be a major undertaking unless I get this new compound miter saw. But I really want to make it for you, so let’s go to Lowe’s.”
Reassuring to see that one can make a useful handsome piece of work without having to use a zillion dollars worth of fancy expensive shop tools! Nicely done!
Great job Josh. You and your family should be proud. As with some of the other comments on here , PLEASE PRACTICE SAFETY,. things can go south in an instant. Trust me I know from experience.
Love your shop it actually looks like someone is working in it. Most of the wood workers that I see look like they spend more time cleaning then they do working. Nice bit of work
This kid is going palaces. It makes me feel good to see a young person learning the trades. He has a lot of talent just needs to refine it he also needs to pay more attention to safty or someday we will call him stuby.Kep up the good work.
That is some awesome work when considering the planning and execution of a project with one piece of lumber that needed to be cut into so many pieces. Most of all, I like to see someone make stuff in a shop that doesn’t look like it belongs to a guy/gal loaded with money. Most people have limited and inexpensive tools, I think.
Seriously; between resawing three inches deep in one pass and cutting quarter-inch rips with no sacrificial fence, I was like "one kickback is gonna end this man's entire career."
That is just amazing! I watch UA-cam videos all the time but I’ve only commented once but you have major talent to be so young, VERY IMPRESSIVE! You’ve got a good future ahead of you, stay with it.
Nice! With finger joints that small, a dab of thin, slow-grabbing glue is best. The glue doesn't have to be strong. Hide glue is thin and sets slowly, but also happens to be very strong and easy to sand.
Great looking organizer cabinet. If you get a chance, please make a video on how you made the finger joint jig. I know that there are many on UA-cam, but most are difficult to build and some maker's instructions are difficult to follow. Thanks for this video.
This is like watching an episode of CSI when they solve a case in 20 mins, but in reality it would take me weeks if not months!!! LOL.... Great job, and I appreciate the videos... Keep them coming. Cheers!!
Cool idea! I like to make stools and end tables from single 10' 2x6's. This is a lot more involved, but I may give it a go. Thanks for the inspiration!
Hi Josh, when is the maid coming in to clean your workspace and please watch your fingers when using the saw. Watching you work I am assuming you are self-taught, every woodworker watching this can relate to you. Awesome build, keep going kid you will make a great joiner. Thanks for sharing
I've watched a few of your videos, and I appreciate your skill and ability to put your projects together from start to finish. That being said, I wish you would think about working a little bit safer around the table saw. I don't want to be the safety police though, but take a lot of these other peoples comments kindly. Good work! PS buy a shop vac, they're not that expensive lol
Really amazing project. I love how it incorporates so many simple but skill building techniques. I want to build it just for that reason. Keep up the great work!
I'm gonna guess and say ur dad is in the wood working business. He taught u well, everybody is just worried about that saw. But when u do something u love, u its always a pleasure to go to work.
That's awesome work man, don't see people put this much effort into small builds like this, that's impressive! Good work, especially to mill it all out of one board! Getting a sub for that!
Nice job. I noticed there at the end it was sitting in the kitchen. If I made one of these, my wife would snag it and that's where mine would end up also. I guess the trick is to make at least two.
I have seen a number of your videos and you are creative and talented. But it's time for shop helper projects like an outfeed table. Table saw sled and a vacuum system. Also might also want to either add weight or angled legs on the table saw. It rocks as you feed stock through it. :o)

That's a very nice piece. My wife would love it to store her teas. I'm not gonna make her one, but she would love it...
This made me chuckle! I have been working on a small table for over a year that should only take a weekend for my wife!
You sir, are the most honest man on the internet

... using straight lumber marked US$15 low (amazing find! Home Depot hates his skilz) and stain from a squirrel's nest.
Great job Josh. You and your family should be proud. As with some of the other comments on here , PLEASE PRACTICE SAFETY,. things can go south in an instant. Trust me I know from experience.

You make some amazing stuff with limited amount of wood it's amazing to see 👍

you're obviously cutting-and-pasting your comments to this youtuber. Show some respect for him and his audience.
Kudos to you for doing that out of one 2X6 and it was very simply done without very expensive machinery.
Great job kid. You have the temperament and patience of a fine woodworker.
Wow! Hard to believe such a great looking parts cabinet can be created from a single 2x6!
Josh I've never seen anybody pull material through a table saw before, play safe my friend, and nice project ! keep them coming. All the best

Glad I found your video. Great idea, but MAN you make me nervous with that table saw lol

Josh, that was an awesome build - really great work! I love making things like this that are practical and make good use of materials.

You made that look like anyone could put one of those together. Good work.

Very well done! Simple, good looking, and fully functional! Thanks for sharing!

I was impressed with the outcome. A sweet job! Please stay safe.
I've been looking for projects that will use up a lot of the scrap wood I have. Your channel has given me a lot of great material to work with.
Nobody can stretch a 2x6 like Josh Wright!

All of those Great Cuts without a fancy cross cut jig that's the way I do it too.
Beautiful job!!! Very nice piece. 👍👏👏👏
Great job and AWESOME use of the table saw!
Great job! It's too beautiful for trinkets. It needs to be on display like in a kitchen to hold teas. Very nice!!
Not bad Josh, but you might want to do a video on building a Good Dust Collector System. Just saying.
Love the glue up station
Congratulations young fella, simplicity and creativity has a new address. Well done 👍✅
Just remember that your fingers need more attention.
