If anyone is curious Steel Uragaan's major differences is that he rolls longer, throws more explosive rocks and his exploding rocks applies fart and fireblight
Bro fart too ya that has to be the worst I don't think Uragann is that bad but fart is horrible
And that's what people didn't like about uragaan
Haha fart
I think the original uragaan fart sleepy gas but this one doesn't
that sounds terrible. i can see why it was the least voted monster
Peppo showing us why it was the least voted monster. Awesome work, my friend.
I'm gonna be real, this is the first time I have ever seen Peppo get hit unintentionally in any of his videos or videos that he was in.
I love how despite it technically being a tie, everyone has respect for desert seltas and understands how it could unfortunately end up in this situation, whereas on the opposite end everyone just makes fun of steel uragaan.
I rock a full set of Steel Urugaan armor in G-rank. Works wonderfully as Gunlance armor, plus it lets me hunt Brachydios for its weapons free of blastblight. The stinky isn't so bad once you get used to it. Only downside is no one wants to sit by me anymore.
That armor was crazy good as a gunlancer. I was impenetrable.
You know what, I say put him in wilds
Give him a tune up
Yeah they should see that he’s the least votes and instead of thinking to themselves to get rid of him they should think of how to improve him
Yeah give him a redemption arc👍
Based. And the color palette is very cool
Yeah, the monsters that should get the most favor from this poll should be the ones at the top of it and the bottom of it. The ones at the top are *wanted* the most and should get the attention needed to live up to those expectations, but the ones at the bottom *deserve* the attention of the Dev team the most, as they have the biggest shortcomings in the entire franchise.
If they can make Rathalos and Kushala actually fun in Rise then maybe there's hope for Uragaan and all its variants.
It felt like half of this video was waiting for Steel Uragaan to come closer... 🥱
Thats a 3U Uragaan problem in general. A lot of brute wyverns are like that
Seregios be like am i right
Looking back at older MH games, Foresight Slash has got to be the best innovation for LS users since MHW launched.
Well yeah it changed the whole gameplay quite a lot, and Helm Breaker as well
I mean, in XX we have the valor parry LS.
@@wolfitoh7981 while functionally a parry it really plays very differently from foresight slash
Metal Jay Leno
@@Larry. not really? You just weave that shit into your fights to counter attacks you wouldn't avoid with your positioning
MH3U, my beloved. This is where I got my start to the series, and the start of my obsession with Brachydios. I think on my next two days off, I'm going to just spend both days on the WiiU and play online exclusively.
He has pretty colours tho.
I honestly didnt mind this guy with tremor resist, Grank gigginox on the other hand...
I definitely like his color scheme more than the regular one and I always have :)
You might hate me for saying this. But since i played mh3u, i honestly love steel uragaan. He is not a difficult subspecies but also i really love how he looks. It's probably just a me thing and the dung explosion neither dung rocks he has poses no threat to me.
Sure radobaan is a much better creature than the steel. But i would be picking steel over crystal beard.
I was kinda sad that everyone forgotten about uragaan but it is to be expected and understandable. But yeah, i still love steel uragaan.
Same here! I started with Tri, but I loooved Jade barroth and Steel Uragaan so much for just how beautiful they were. I loved all brute wyvern back in my noob years. They were all my favorite class of monster. I farmed the heck outta this gut because I found it so fun.
Duramboros is a huge favorite of mine, love Rust variant as well!
LS frustrates me in World since I feel like I constantly have to build and spend both gauges, but it looks like a much more fun weapon to me when played simple like this.
I made it to Fatalis, Peppo-sama. Haven’t slain it, but working on it
Good luck ;)
Well I slew it but not alone
How the fuck did this giant turn so quickly when he hit peppo?
Now you have to hunt the top 10 monster so we don't have to
Will you do Desert Seltas as well? It tied with Steel Uragaan after all.
I wish I could, but I can’t play 4u at the moment! :(
It's a crime Desert Seltas got so low... He was fun.
It's people voting for their favorite monster/trolling @@xdgameplay4034
Ahh this takes me back… feels like a lifetime ago
Fun fact jay Leno is a nick name for uragaan and crimson chin for steel uragaan and jay leno voices the crimson chin
You *know* a monster wasn’t designed all too well when they don’t even get within range of their own attack before throwing it out.
Let’s just hope he gets some TLC in Wilds, should he make an appearance
Not having the sheath abilities to cancel the spirit combo finisher feel weird. It's also weird that 3U's LS was better than 4U's LS, having the 3rd gauge be not fully renewable on a spirit combo finisher was such ass.
I wouldn't call 4U's LS strictly worse than 3U's. It's more micromanage-y, but it did get buffed in several ways. The red aura multiplier went from x1.2 to x1.3 and it lasts for 120 seconds rather than just 60 seconds. And with the introduction of the Spirit Dash you can make use of a lot more small openings to increase your aura level, so if you can manage it, you won't be out of red for too long. It's a preference thing, I suppose. I think people only considered it weak because it was outshined by the IG in 4U. Compared to the other weapons it held up just fine though.
Thank you for your sacrifice.
You've gotta hunt Desert Deltas since they tied for bottom
i love third gen so much its good to see you do as well
man, 3U still looks so good!
Funny that there are two monsters for 228th spot in the poll and Steel uragaan is the only one who is getting the heat lol. Well he deserves it honestly after all trouble he did. Justice for Desert seltas
Waiting for when new world have all the monster... Everything just everything... I wonder how big the size gonna get 👀
4:50 I wonder what the gambler needs the Steel Uragaan parts for?
If I had to pick my least favourite fight in the franchise it would be Black Gravios. That thing is honestly just garbage, it's a miracle that I'm still alive and didn't die due to popping every blood vessel in my head while fighting it.
I like steel just because he’s Uragaan but with a nicer color scheme.
He shares that spot with the Desert Seltas does it mean you are doing a Desert Seltas next ? XD
Your longsword skills are so clean even this fight looks fun
How was 3U LS? Some say, in comparison, that it was pretty poor(if we exclude underwater), but it seems it has all the necessary tools it usually had in oldgen for its damage plus no 4U nerf.
I don't think steel uragaan is that bad.
Only ever played Iceborne and Sunbreak cause I got into the series late so excuse my ignorance but is that Alatreons LS? I didn’t know he was in whatever game this is
@@demonofchange Yes that's Alatreon LS, said elder dragon was introduced in this game which is called Monster Hunter Tri. This specific footage comes from Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, which is the equivalent of nowadays' Iceborne or Sunbreak, an expansion that adds G Rank (Master Rank) and plenty of new monsters.
You poor soul
I recently started replaying mh3u after not playing for several years. I genuinely forgot steel uragaan existed lol, like I had absolutely no memory of it at all XD
Omaiga thanks for playing the Tri versión i have this Game and i don't have any idea of how i would figth thi beast
If MH ever does a remake, I want 3U remake for sure
let’s do p3rd steel uragan peppo
First fought this guy on portable 3rd. The only reason I remember it is because it got absolutely wrecked by Ludroth LBG.
i love steel uragaan!
Bring him to Wilds and call it RGB Uragaan.
Jay Leno must pay for his crimes.
underrated monster i love steel uragaan :(
聴覚保護5龍属性攻撃9スロなし天のお守りって存在しなくね?
チートかなぁ?
I’m sorry but how were you able to unsheath your weapon straight into the spirit slashes at 0:56 (without doing like an overhead slash first)? I thought this was only introduced to LS in MHW
R+X+A
I genuinely can't even remember if I hunted this guy way back when I first started my MH journey with 3U lmao. I fought quite a bit of the subspecies but not this guy I think.
Ah yes Mr big stinky wheel
i just got 3 ultimate...
oh joy. im gonna get to fight steel uragaan.
Hey Peppo. I’m sorta new to the MH games, and started with MHW and then bought Icebourne (W financial decisions 🗿). I’m stuck on Nergigante atm. You got any tips for me?
im not peppo, but learn how to superman dive if you havent already. it really helps avoiding his bs divebomb attack
@@novarat4089 I appreciate it. Isn't there a certain hitbox or smth to avoid the divebomb? Like, if you stand right under him when he's in the air?
@@Aeon-the-Voidmind It's typically best to just go for the superman dive, easier to do and the i-frames last longer than the divebomb's hitbox IIRC.
Also, since his divebomb depends on all of his spikes being fully grown in and hardened, busting 'em up while they're still white and squishy both delays his ability to throw out the divebomb and also scores you a good few knockdowns which can make hacking off his tail, tearing up his wings, or busting up his horns for the partbreak rewards easier.
@@emperortethysusdacertified8175 So...just go for the arm spikes for the majority of the fight? Or do I wait for the spikes to grow and then target them, then go back to targeting a different part?
@@Aeon-the-Voidmind Pretty much wherever you see white spikes, try to break 'em if you can. His arms and head are the squishiest general hitzones so it's usually easiest to break the ones growing on 'em, but if you get an opportunity to shear off ones on other bodyparts (say he gets knocked down and the spikes on his wings are still white, for example) it's never a bad idea to take said opportunity.
Effectively, hitting white spikes = highest damage dealt via your own attacks, staggers and knockdowns from successful breaks, and making Nerg take more time to throw out a divebomb.
If there's no white spikes that you can reach at the immediate moment, I'd say either focus on the tail for the extra carve once it's been cut as well as having one less part to worry about shearing off spikes from or the head both because it's his weakest hitzone (thus taking the most damage from attacks) and because breaking both his horns can potentially net you his gem.
i think he is cool tho
I do wonder how lao is so high up on the list
Mainly nostalgia.
@@mariodoccia6129 nostalgia is one thing but that fight is about the most boring thing in the series
Cool factor. Big ass dragon that causes earthquakes when it walks.
It was about how the monsters looked not the fights otherwise zinogre wouldn't get top 20
@@BeRightBackQ8 its a rathalos without wings but bigger wdym looks bruh
Yeah but what about the SECOND least voted monster ?
20 second video
Thing is I don't even like normal Uragaan, so if we don't see steely joe here again I can't say I'm losing sleep over it.
Hope u make mhgu videos soon, would love u to see a god longsword moves
When Desert Selteas? 228th with Steel Uragaan
The... The charm... But why, i dont understand its literally just a showcase why would you cheat in a charm
Older MH games have a charm that World failed to replicate and I'm afraid we'll never get back
I don't think failed is the right word friend. World was very intentionally aiming for something different and succeeding in that endeavour.
@@vocalcalibration8033 maybe you're right. I'm just very fond of how MH used to look and feel and I think Rise managed to do a decent job at it
@@corvoyami3192 And that's fair enough. I simply think there is room for both.
Both styles are great and I hope Wilds mixes them both together.
If Steel Uragan exist in current Gen MH, he may have Blockable Supernova perk 😂
It's no wonder. Steel Uragaan is almost as uncreative as the subspecies from the 1st and 2nd generations. I mean that was the 3rd generation. It was then that subspecies became, for the first time, somewhat different from the original species.
Ngl his armor looks sick
Hoy you can see the whole top?? Im a bit curious about it
Mh yt
Hi, the talisman +5 Hearing, +9 Dragon Attack --- is not a creator talisman. It's a Dragon talisman which is rare 7, not 10. Please beware before spreading misinformation. It's a good idea to give MH3U some light, but i think it's not good to show people stuff that doesn't exists in this game.
who cares besides elitists?
@@ninjafrog6966 I care. So i bring you knowledge on a topic i studied for the past 10 years. If you don't want to use it, i can't do anything about this.
@@chwalch You study monster hunter? for 10 years?
あとは這い上がるだけ
Why doesn't he use Lai and helmbreaker? -world players.
i hope they bring back steel uragaan just to annoy people
Seeing 3U run at 60 FPS is so weird.
This monster isn't even the worst to hunt across all generations, also it's pretty easy with elemental LBG, it does look hard with melee tho
Poor ura, is king shakalaka on the list?😂
* Tied for least voted
Its funny how people care about Steel Uragaan more than Zinogre rn.
I think the green gas is the only part I don't like. He would be as cool as normal uragaan otherwise.
I think the green gas is because of the emulator, on the 3DS the fart gas is brown.
@@lubbo5261 Also lame lol
ちなみにアルセルタス亜種も同率最下位である
Lmao nice
crazy how he's less voted than the regular one. I love Steel Uragaan's colors, easily an improvement in Uragaan's ugly ass design.
Don’t no why people hate this monster and his other forms cos I like him but soneone has to be last I guess lol
Incredible 😊
Doesn't matter if its 3u or Rise, always a beautiful dance.
I had more fun fighting this guy or his brother instead of underwater lagi.
次回 アルセルタス亜種 死す!デュエルスタンバイ😢
oh yes, so people? are you happy with the result? for my part yes...a few details aside, I would have liked to see at least one tygrex
There was
@@yobro6053 ah sorry, I should have made the top 20. I didn't see the full list of monsters .
thank you for your service peppo
bring back old smell eh
Damn, rise is lookin good
It was tied, where's the other monster?
Another cheated charm.. Man please if you want to do some MH3U runs at least check beforehand if the charm you are using is legit or not. It should have been a timeworn charm this one but of course it's a creator. As another guy said in the comment section you are spreading misinformation about this beautiful game.
Yo know in 3U you can,t make custom charms no ?
Plus if he cheated. He wouldn't be playing this game right now. You get banned for life if you cheat in this game specifically if I remember correctly. Not a 100% sure
You can edit any charm in the game lmao like any other game@@jonpuertaa7042
@@MasterofhammersHe plays on emulator. He can't get banned. Also it's very easy to cheat on emulator, you just need a simple save editor (or even a gekko code or something like that). So it's indeed cheat. The problem here is not the fact that he cheated the charm (a lot of people did that for multiple reason i won't explain right now), but the fact he cheated badly. Since he gets a large community, some people may be getting wrong informations about the charms that are in this game. For me, this is a problem. All the charms informations are available on MH3G Dex made by Ping, or on Athena's Charm Table Search, in case you're curious.
@@jonpuertaa7042 Sorry man, but that charm is clearly cheated. I mean, he can cheat charms as much as he wants, but don't do videos like speedruns if you use illegal stuff, it's just not funny.
ランキング最下位になった理由がいろいろ詰まってるなw
海外の人が古いモンハンやってるの始めてみた
I'm genuinely still baffled Steel is at the very bottom... I literally just can't accept it.
Like SERIOUSLY, out of EVERY. SINGLE. MONSTER. IN THE FRANCHISE. Literally, how is a simple little Uragaan subspecies voted to be the least popular when something like Gogforsaken Cephadrome, Bulldrome, any of the Dromes, and shitty ass Jyuratodus exist?!
I don't get it, he's a beautiful boi at the absolute least. Plus, how else would everyone have crafted all that sought-after Brachy gear?
Yes, he's not great...at all, but come on! He's not THAT bad... right?
Real
I completely forgot steel uragaan even existed honestly, and I reckon most people who wanted to vote for an uragaan voted for the standard one. Besides, I doubt there’s many people who were like “hell yeah! Steel uragaan! Best monster in the series!”, ‘cause you only got one vote
I liked the Bulldrome fight.
Not memorable enough to meme vote bad monsters, not likeable enough to be voted over literally any other monster for a person’s favorite.
That’s it I guess
It’s not that it’s a bad monster, a majority likely forgot Steel Uragaan even exists, like many of the other monsters that weren’t voted as much
I mean it's not the worst one but still very forgettable
how are you playing on 60 fps
I Hope Steel Uraggan Returns in Wilds And Also Mabye have his Chin Sharping just like How Glavenus Sharping his Tail Causing his Chin Slams to do More Damage and Gives you Fireblight also given him a Move he Drag his Chin to a Grind Esc Attack like Bamboro
誰のためだよ!
俺の為にありがとう
I love mh3u
More 3U!!
Wait so what is diffrence between normal uragaan and steel one?
I think he has poison status...
The only new thing
he emits soil status as his main element and the rocks explode when he tremors
Instead of setting you on fire, he soils you for a bit, which makes it so you can't use any items (unless you have a cleanser IIRC, then you can use that and only that to remove the soiling)
So its normal uragaan but he farts?
F A R T
🤣🤣
damn it really had to do all that at 1 hit from dying, honestly this is uragaan but with a slightly uglier shade and stench, pretty nice a recipee for a forgettable monster
