- 2023 CORN HARVEST near Eaton Ohio | Claas Lexion Combine & Fendt Trac tor
In this video I am out in a field of corn near Eaton Ohio with a family farm that is harvesting their 2023 corn crop using a Claas Lexion 8600 combine with a Gerringhoff 12 row folding corn head. Also in the field they are running their Fendt 1042 Vario Tractor pulling a J&M X1112 grain cart.

Holy wheel wobble on the combine
She's hard working woman God Bless 🙏 you! And it's an honor to have you visit our channel, we can discuss more about our experiences in harvesting and building farms.
This is a Great Video. I am a Fan of the German companies more & more. The Fendt & Claas are Awesome.
Don’t know what it is I like about Fendts so much, but love seeing videos with them in it. Spectacular video as always!

Love this channel. Wish there were more likes. I like Mike. Happy subscriber 😊!
Love those folding headers, really nice for going through fence gates, narrow roads, etc. so you don't have to load it onto a trailer. Great video Mike ! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving !

Great video Mike. We finished corn harvest 2 weeks ago today here in north central Indiana.
FOLDING CORN HEADERS ARE A GAME CHANGER FOR SURE NOW DAYS
Nice harvest - Noticed the back tires of the Claas jitter back and forth. Must be a function of keeping the tracks going straight down the row?
Dang, that can’t be sop. That’s weird for sure.
Auto steer function needs adjustment

Speed harvesting
Another great video mike ❤ i cant imagine take 12 rows of corn at one time.i never get tired of watching your videos
Keep up the good work
God bless hope you and your family had a blessed Thanksgiving
Looks like they are shelling a LOT of corn in a short time!
Starting at about the 3:57 time mark, you can see there's something weird going on with the left rear tire on that combine. Maybe it is just the auto steer trying to catch the signal or something like that, but it shouldn't be twitching that fast if it is. It seems to be more of a wobble like bent axle shaft or loose wheel hub. They might want to check that out and see what exactly is going on. You can see it closer up starting at 9:10 @ 13:52 you can see the right rear tire does it too, though not quite as bad.
Their auto-steer is too sensitive.
@@stubbi It may just be that is what it is, but it looks a lot more like a wobble than the AS twitch to me. That is usually a quick left right twitch. This is a rotational wobble.
It seems to me that the automatic steering is incorrectly set because at 0:47 you can see the right wheel shaking in the same way as the left one at 3:33. And when it turns without automatic steering, everything is fine with the wheels
Looks like they are running 34ft hopper bottoms. Kind of interesting.
😎😎
Mike, I know very little about farming... my question is if you buy a corn or other grain head for a combine like a John Deere will that same head fit a IH or Claas or does every manufacturer have there own head
Isn't that music from Big Tractor Power does Jason know about that lol???😂
Its a sound clip from Apple iMovie. Which is what I use to edit my videos.
That amount of wheel wobble can't be right. That needs attention before something fails . like driving at high speed along the road.
Where around Eaton?
This field was just east of town and south of 35
Just an observation…….there doesn’t seem to be much attention paid to gross weight of a loaded semi. They’re just filled up.
You introduced the topic on a video last year re: the pronunciation of “Claas.” You are pronouncing to correctly in this video. It’s pronounced “klöss.” Rhymes with “floss.”
