I must have watched this video when it first came out 13 years ago! my how things have changed! would the new claas combines do double that amount, thanks for sharing
after seeing this video I feel honored to have worked on this exact machine and to have this machine parked at my dealership(along with all of the other trade ins of others brands)!!
@bedopalko Hi, they harvesting 51153 bushel in 10 h. 1 bushel are 35,25 Liter. So they get 1803143 Liters = 1803 m³ in 10h 100 Liter Mais (Corn) weighs ~ 75 Kilogramm (Kg) 1803m³ x 0,75t = 1352 Tonnen Mais (Corn) in 10h MFG Christian
LOL I used to haulcorn ,,beans and wheat ,,during my off times ,,was amazed to have to use an bar to get stuff to come out of the bottom of an hopper bottom
My name is Renan, I really like your videos, I like to work with agricultural machines and I grew up in the farming environment in Brazil at the moment I am in Portugal for 2 months, but I go to Canada in September and I will look for a grain crop to work in the agricultural environment , but in case you're giving me someone else? Thank you and success to you
Actually it is 170 (now 176) people who realize that the video is stolen and posted by an offshore resource to get a nickle. By you post it is safe to assume that you support theft. Moron.
great video i come from germany so my english is not very god but in there where i live is something like that not possible because our fields are very little
Funny thing isn't it? here in the UK the consensus seems to be that the only combines worth having are Claas or New Holland. JD combines had (have? ) a terrible reputation. Masseys even worse...
This everything looks great, but the prices for those machines are nearly impossible to to pay off for a normal farmer (here in Poland). Just wishing there was a little of support for farming here in poland as it is in other countries.
Almost nothing for support in Western Canada. Canada is two Nations. One for the east with special subsidies. Haha. I haven't got a cent for 10 years. Listen up Justin T. Alberta and Sask should separate!!!!
Would I be correct in assuming that the farm would contract out the harvest rather than owning something like that setup for use only for a short time every year. Or would several farms pool equipment?
@@robertkenney-oles5948 That's a big investment. Most of the farms around me will use contractors due to the cost of the equipment. How often would you buy a new one? Every 5 years?
I guess the black yellow is for the U.S. market. anyways the black yellow is better. If I were a farmer I would not like to have those green white driving on my fields. Anyways, it is just paint job so if you put the gun to their head I am sure you can get ANY color in Europe too. Just threaten them to buy a John Deer. h aha hahahahahahahahahahaa
we in Serbia have yields 15+ tons/ha whit our corn hybrids...so its possible... ZP 677, 680 hybrids yields more then 15 tons/ha of corn Last year was a dry year, so we still had a yield of close to 8-9 tons/ha
americans love to use the old imperial weighing system rather than making it into the 21st century like the rest of us and using the metric tonnes and hectares. still good machine and effeciencies, ideal harvesting conditions are not always available but impressive nonetheless. there are about 40 bushels in a tonne and 2.2 acres a hectare so this crop was going about 14 tonnes a hectare which by north american standards is great
How do they irrigate the fields? 15 tons/hec is not much, when i used to do corn i used to have yiels of 12tons/hec, but i have seen yields of 17/18 tons/hec.
Depends on the use. Some around central Illinois is harvested “wet” at 25% because it goes to ADM for corn starches or sweeteners. The other is used for livestock feed
This is all relative. The number of bushels is impressive but many machines could do that. The yield per acre would be a deciding factor and how many acres the machine can cover in ten hours vs the per acre yield of corn. If this field had a high yield then the record is possible but compare that to a lower yield acreage. The true test is how much material the machine can process not the bushels only.
its a 590 acre corn field. they croped 51153 bushel of corn=1.802 150l of corn. that was an expensive day(machine use, fuel, truck rent, wages. wow. so you should be a rich farmer to spent for the first this amount of money
Гусеницы в отличии от колес имеют большую площадь соприкосновения с поверхностью следовательно и давление на поверхность меньше.это повышает проходимость по слабым грунтам и трактору легче тянуть такой прицеп

nice video and very nice machine tank you
That hopper bottom at the beginning was loaded to the max! Probably 98000 lbs...haa
Wonderful video! What is the pick up models?
14 or 15% moisture on Oct.10th? Early variety or dry year but neither one is conducive to 230 bu. corn.

A relevant question...What's the percentage of corn that actually made it to the truck as opposed to out the back of the combine with the trash?
jack trenary almost 100%. It's not green so it's really hard to chuck corn out the back of a Lex. They have an amazing amount of cleaning area.
Wow i like all video

How many acres did you get done? What's your header spacing and width. I can calculate acres by assuming 235 per but not exactly.
It was a 16r30 claas Corn head and they said the field was 195 acres
Would I be correct in assuming that the farm would contract out the harvest rather than owning something like that setup for use only for a short time every year. Or would several farms pool equipment?
Most farmers own their own combines.

@@robertkenney-oles5948 need a couple thousand acres to make it worthwhile, but combines come in various sizes. This would be the largest class size
Huw Bishop depends on how deep their pockets are. Here the big guys trade every year. Mid sized ones every 3-7 years, and the smaller guys less often.
