- Two New Holland CR Twin Rotor Combines harvesting Corn near Portland Indiana
In this video I am out in a corn field south of Portland Indiana with Wasson Farms as they run their New Holland CR8.90 combine with a 12 row corn head and they also had a demo New Holland CR9.90 combine from the local New Holland dealer with a 12 row corn head. They ran both combines down the field together and I was able to capture the action with my drone.
Also in the video they are running their Cat MT865 Challenger Tractor pulling a J&M 1326 Grain Cart. I also got some bonus footage of a Gleaner S77 combine going down the road and a Deer jumping in and out of the standing corn.

NH combines are better than Claas combines.

Even in average corn those two machines will keep the cart and truck drivers busy.
In my area we were very dry until later in July and corn varied from 140 to 225 depending on if you caught a rain or not. West central Minn

Those long unloading augers on the combines look like they could unload the combines fitted with the 62 foot GTS Brazilian heads for small grains.

I just hope they don’t have the problems with software I’ve had the last 2 harvests with my 2022 7.80 it’s been a nightmare they still haven’t gotten it right

Cool Combines! Always liked the CR series from New Holland but never got to run one. We have Case combines.
Did you get to ask the farmer how he liked the new 9.9 series?

Have a 7090 demod an 890 they only wanted 627k to trade we didn't even have to say no .
We don’t see much New Holland anymore nowadays do we? The original twin-rotor.
I’m not trying to step on anyone’s toes here the combines look like they’re a little toy in a box of cereal during the 90’s but it’s such a solid brand.

It’s like nails on a chalkboard to me when I see people that don’t fold their augers back in after they dump.

In corn probably not much unless they were chopping stalks the extra HP would come in. See more of a difference in soybeans.
Why do the driver leave the arm up and what if he hit the bump and broke or bent the arm??
