I didn’t see your video before I installed my Hook 2 7 on my Outlaw 11.5. We both basically did the same thing. I’m in the process of editing the footage of my installation. Great video!
i just picked up this same kayak a few days ago and finally took it out for the first time today , looking forward to your next videos and a review on that fish finder .
If you're just hooking up the lowrance you could leave it on for several days with that battery. For that matter if you add LED lights, That battery would still last all weekend!
I just installed my lowrance hook 2 reveal 5 on my perception outlaw yesterday. I used gland nuts on the front hatch I added and keep all the extra transducer cable inside hatch. Can't wait to get on water to try it out. Trolling motor next hack ill be doing. Since we all know the outlaw is not the best yak to paddle LOL
It really does what I need it to do. The only thing is out in the Texas coastline...it can get real sunny most days so depending on which way the yak is facing...it's sometimes a bit hard to see the screen. But I know a screen protector / sun blocker will solve that. That's my next DIY project.
Great detail on this install! I have the same kayak and plan to install an old Eagle for now, eventually plan an upgrade and considering all brands, look forward to seeing how you like this lowrance!

Do you have a link to the fish finder mount?
How long did that battery last?
The longest I have had it on non-stop is about 6 hours and it lasted that long.
