Candy Gram featured throughout. Mongo is the one with the big rocks and rock drops. The tower side trail is MotoX which will take you down to the Santee Lakes, and what is now the Stowe trail. If you follow that for about 5 miles or so, you will get a long gravel road climb up to a parking lot and the trail that leads to Martha's Grove. Awesome stuff.
Nice work on Mongo! The camera really doesn't do that trail justice. If you go back to the area, try to get someone to show you Spaceballs. You would love it.
That downhill after Candy Gram is Mongo. Seeing you blast through Teds and now this gives me more motivation to push through those gnarly sections! Sick riding bro!
Not sure how you entered the trail system, but if you want extra credit, park on Summit road, and take one of the three climbs from there, all super steep and technical.
Solid stuff bro! Not sure why some are hating in the comments! Keep it up! Ps send me a wind breaker lol. Saw your whole crew wearing them at Greer a few weeks ago when I was out there.
Which gopro are you using and is it on your helmet or chest? What setting do are you shooting in and is it excited? Please let me know I really like the quality
I was wondering the same thing because the sycamore canyon in san diego i know doesn't have nearly as much stuff as what he's riding. Wherever he is it looks sick
What trail rating is this, blue, black, red? Really looks fun need to head out there sometime. Do you do any of the Ventura trails, like Coral Canyon? Or the trail in Vail Lake?
1st trail, blazing berms-blue 2nd trail mongo-,blk to double blk 3rd mojo x- blk upline is candygram. keep going up candygram but go left at mongo turnoff at the top...hit high anxiety, its a blk in the top but can get really good(fast and gnarly)
Looks like @Phil Boncher has the trail ratings 👆🏼 and I haven’t hit Ventura trails but I have ridden Vail lake. If you go 3 videos back I have a video out at Vail 😀🤙🏼
Thanks for blowing out a great spot. San Diego is a tough place to keep trails and posting their locations on UA-cam for a few likes and comments is pretty lame. I happen to build here and know the city is working really hard to eliminate this spot. Please don’t give them any more reason than they already have, at least hide the location.
What’s pretty lame is the way you started the conversation and then go on to state that all I post these videos for is the likes and comments. I happened to talk to some of the main builders when I first shot this video and they were cool with me titling this video as it is.
I hit all the features on my hardtail, Kona big Honzo with 27.5x2.8 minions. The only rough part is the same one where he bottomed out his fork. And I prefer my hardtail to my full squish on spaceballs if you end up there.
Video doesn’t even do it justice, this trail is gnarly and you make it look easy. Nice work 🤙🏽

X7MTB thanks dude!!
Lots more to explore out there. Have pat take it further into Spaceballs, Hiden Trail, and Dark Helmet
That’s good to know! Will do! 🤗
Those rock slabs at 8:40 were sick!
I just know I would get lost out there.
Sick bro! 🤙🏻 Great riding!
Thanks bro! 🤙🏼🤙🏼
I think I was looking for trails near poway and I came across this last year but haven't made it out. looks amazing!

Great vid. Got me excited to go try this out. Sucks that it isn’t on Trailforks.
There's a reason why lol
Did all this get burned in the valley fire?

Where is that I would like to ride their
You think it’s posible to ride that on a hard tail
I’d say so there are go arounds on some of the gnarlier sections if you need to use them as well 🤙🏼🤙🏼
