It is Crest, just east of El Cajon, CA. Start at Los Coches Rd. by the Walmart. Check out Strava, and you will see all of the routes. Jeez. Why post a video and not tell the viewers where you are? Straight nonsense.
There is a reason, for sure. Usually, its out of respect for the builders and the locals and because of potential access issues. If someone messages me on IG, I can often help them find local spots, direct them on how to discover new places, and I discuss the local scene and issues about our local trails. The hard part about most of them is that they are on step away from getting closed down, and I don't want to contribute to that by posting directions to places with questionable access. Crest is not a secret, but out of an abundance of caution, I chose not to post the location. I have done plenty of videos that are more of trail guides, but these are more about highlighting the experience.
Glad you got to ride here, thanks for not naming it. More stuff out there to ride also, it’s easy to pass up stuff and not even notice it.
