I’m not a mountain biker (I’m only MTB curious) but I gave you a thumbs for Mario Wonder. It’s my daughter’s first “2d” Mario platformer and it’s a fantastic game, one of the best.
I did Lucendo Bike Park bike park Saturday for the first time. Amazing place and a Shuttle but still some up hills. And they are building allot of new trails and expanding.
There's actually maybe a "4th" line. That one is off the 1st line but you roll over the rocks hugging the rope. So if you're coming in hot, you can hit that smoothly and will position you right into the left turn. This one's one of my fav trails.
Looks like some great trails and definitely some sections worthy of an enduro 160 travel rig or an aggressive trail 140. Especially if you enjoy smashing through the chunk!
You reminded me of the good old days when they would scream on your left if there was a biker on your left hand side passing ... Way better when you say writer you don't freak out the hiker or biker🎉🎉😂
Thanks for sharing, I haven't seen these trails before. I appreciate the insights. As someone who hikes and bikes trails, I noticed your comment about hikers being on the trail and sometimes being upset when they see bikers. I noticed you didn't have a bell on your bike and at the speed your going and how many curves there are in some of the trails like Lizard, I can imagine that there could be some collisions or very close calls. I live in San Diego county and we are required to have bells on our bikes when riding trails with hikers. Is that not the case up there?
Hey Tony, I have a SC Tallboy with a 130mm fork. Would it be able to handle these trails? I’m seeing others post enduro bikes are needed. Enjoying your mini series on Laguna/Aliso. Thanks!
Thanks for the video, always! I want to try this trail for sure. Is EMTB "okay" on this trail? I am always scared to get a ticket. Thank you always. I live in Fullerton, and I always look out for you on FLOOP :)
How come no timber bell? Whenever I'm in your area I use one, was schooled by locals way back when. Don't need one in VT. 😜 Oh, and still just daily Beat Saber with custom maps.
Can a giant talon 4 hard tail with upgraded maxxis wheels handle trails like these? I’m visiting the ludge this Thursday for my first trail experience and would love your insight! Thank you
Grew up in Laguna back in the 60's. Boy how things have changed. Now it's the "Tragic kingdom" AKA "Yellowstoned". Could have bought a bungalow on Balboa Island for like 12k, 12 million today. Tell them to "get off my beach" ⛱️ trails too.🚵♂️
Glad you're back in Laguna. Watched one of your OG Laguna Canyon trail guides back in 2019 and I've been hooked on the trail system ever since.
👍✔️
I love talking to you on the climbs. It's good to catch up...
Same!
Hell yeah! I am certainly looking forward to testing these out!
Hope you enjoy!
Thanks for taking me there ! Nice fast riding !!!
Any time!
I’m riding this today, this is a huge help 💯
I had some of my best rides with your Patreon group at Laguna!
That's awesome! We'll do one again soon!
I really love a good whoopty myself too tony! Great video man 🤙🏾
Right on!
I agree Laguna Ridge is such a great trail!
Another great vid Tony. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
once again..great guide and review. going to make sure i add these trails next time i visit CA.
Please do!
I have never MTB'd in Laguna. Thinking of trying this route.

Muchas gracias por compartir estos videos ta emocionantes love MBIKE
de nada!
I love your vids, keep them up! And get a timber bell, hikers will be out of your way by the time you see them and they'll thank you also.
👏🫶🏼
No they don't. Lol

Love your videos !! Sounds like you've had some recent run ins with walkers. Great run!!
Thanks!
The three optional lines towards the end, you have 1) sketchy...2) sketchy...or 3) sketchy. The way I view it anyways. Great ride.🏁
You are right!

Couldn't agree more!
The end of TnA will soak up 140 really fast. Trust me!
Just rode it yesterday thanks to you. Thanks awesome….. what’s the deal with the no e-bikes sign at trailhead? Enforced for only level 2s?
Everyone just kinda rides the class 1’s and not really getting bothered.
You make it look so easy 😂😂😂😂
Haha thank you!

Good point!

You should be good!
Thanks for the video, always! I want to try this trail for sure.

Technically emtb is not allowed anywhere in SoCal, basically, but it's a grey area. I've never gotten a ticket and I'm out there all the time. Cheers!
You guys will like this. I watched the rangers riding a guys ebike (with no helmet) at Top of the World last Saturday. Hahaha
@gregwebster8784 haha wtf
@@TheOutsiderMTB we just pedaled up from Chola to TOTW, and he was pinning it down the fireroad. I don't think they care one bit about ebikes.
And the RADS are all riding them on the Wednesday ride.
Solid ride. Any idea how many miles total? You can also take Old Emerald and loop back up to add some miles.
Thanks! Under 10 miles I'd say.
Nice video, Do you happen to have a strava route?
Not this ride but Trailforks should be helpful too.
Have you climbed Willow without electric assist?
Many many times. 👍

Good call!
Do you have a total distance and elevation gain of this route?
About 10 miles unsure about the elevation.
@TheOutsiderMTB I rode it today 9 miles at 1500 ft elevation gain. Lizard trail was still too muddy to enjoy but the rest of the trail was good 👍
👍

Yeah sure!
@@TheOutsiderMTB thanks! just needed reassurance lol
Don't take that bike down TnA. Go to Meadows across the canyon.
@@gregwebster8784 Tna? not sure what that means
Did not know you were from Conn. W.H. my home town.
Nice I lived in west haven for a few years! Or did you mean west Hartford?
West Haven.@@TheOutsiderMTB
How many miles was that
Around 10ish
They really mellowed Lizard out since I last rode it, it seems.
They did the same thing to the trails at Aliso. I think part of it is the camera though, because TnA looked pretty tame at the bottom in this video.
is this a preview of your new channel, The OutsideGamer?
Hah
I recommend checking out repo man and art school if you want proper dh.
Not gonna feature those in the channel tho. 😬
Playing COD WZ, Pubg, BF 2042, Overwatch. I play on PC do play PC or console? Keep up the good work sir
Thanks - I'm a console guy.
Some day I'll get out there to ride local. Sigh...HA!
Diablo 4 s2. Baldurs Gate 3 (will be game of the year)
Best "legal " trails. Ha! TnA is great trail. There's so many on that side of the canyon.
True!
@@TheOutsiderMTB the place is a dangerous Disneyland. Hahaha
I mostly play on my Xbox Apex Legends. Anyone who plays it hit me up
Remember no emtb allowed 😂
😬
