It's good you played the stereo. Otherwise, I would've thought I'd turned off my sound because this beauty is do QUIET! NICE vintage Cadillac! Great post!
These are as big as buses. Who takes the time to take care of such a rare car? It is impressive to see the gems people bring you. Only add wire wheels to it and it needs nothing more.
Literally half a century ago I had one of these, with the same lovely brocade interior, and a lighter blue exterior. It was a great car, and more powerful than the 1974 Fleetwood and 1976 Sedan de Ville that I owned subsequently, although those later models never seemed remotely strained and were perhaps even slightly quieter on the road. The 1973 remains my favorite stylistically.
472 in a kewl blue, NIce full throttle pull with that heavenly sound of the quadrajet secondaries opening. Those 472s you can literally watch the gas gauge move with every full throttle pull !
Love that color! My ‘73 Fleetwood was Rootbeer Brown which was classy with the beige top but I really love this blue. I was 17 years old when I bought this off my Dads Uncle who bought it new in Naples Florida. That was his winter car always garaged. They added the Massive Chrome hood piece with the flying Goddess that added so much to the car. Had under 50K her in Excellent Cond. for $1,700. Of course in 1976 that was about $9K. I drove it to school my senior year and the teachers and the administration would come out look at the car mumble amongst each other, saying how my parents spoiled me by letting me drive their car. One administrator went as far as calling my mom to tell her, it wasn’t good to spoil me and most students drove cars to school. I was in the kitchen, listening to my mother‘s conversation with the administrator and I still remember her going off on him telling him how I worked and 14 years old after school and weekends for a caterer.(That’s how I found the car. My bosses Sister was my Dads Aunt) How I had saved my money for 3 years working late hours on weekends and all summer and school vacations. Whether they believed her or not I don’t know but I loved the smiles this car put on everyone’s face especially my grandparents who loved going for rides. I TRADED it like a dope in 1980 for a NEW XR-7 to save gas and what a piece of crap new car that Cougar was in comparison and still got lousy MPG. I’d still have it if we had a place to store it.
Wow, wow, beautiful drive, stunning Cadillac, OMG, wish my funds have cleared in time😂😂 that's ok, ❤ this beautiful sexy car no matter, thanks for posting/sharing.
Hi Bill, I have been a subscriber for over a year now. Your videos are always top-notch. Your new showroom is extremely nice. Your videos are fantastic! Thanks for bringing some nostalgic cars to us.
Seen from Europe those vehicles were more than just cars, there were symbols of the time when the United States were still "America" (l'Amérique!). Nowadays, all our western nations are going down the gutter, and it shows in the cars we now drive; buying a new car, on both sides of the ocean, has become as exciting as replacing your old fridge.
@@christianbugatticg it's low compression ,Low lead was 90 octane back then .but the system they rate octane diffrent now ,just wondering if it had low octane problems with 89 octane but if you dont use it .the 93 seems to work for the 60's cars that need premium as long as they are not super high comp.
A Beautiful Hunk of Detroit Steel. Makes you MISS these cars. Thanks for Posting
So glad I was able to stumble across this one !
Now THAT’s a Cadillac!

There’s a release in the seatbelt housing for this situation.
Thanks I will be looking into it.
@@christianbugatticg small tab on the inside of the housing. You’ll need a dinner knife or something similar to depress it.
Must be the best driving most relax car to go cross country?
Likely is! Thanks!

No Comprende Amigo!
You have the coolest cars!! Just curious, why no hood ornament? The 73s I have known before all had a hood ornament.
Good morning and thank you! Yeah and a handful didn't have ornaments.
You hav to turn the car off then apply The belts My Mom Had 1 Just like it bk in the day❤
Ok thanks!
@@christianbugatticg ❤️
You need to take your foot off the brake that makes the seat belt relax
Ahh ok! Thank you!
What octane gas do you run this on ?
I always put 93 in everything I drive.
