Unforgettable Adventures in the USA: Florida & New York

This video is a bit different. Who we aren’t in an exotic location, when we are relaxed around friends and family. After months of travelling through South America we spend a few weeks in Miranda’s home country of the USA. Here we celebrate some big occasions including our engagement, Miranda’s 30th birthday and Miranda’s sisters wedding.
We explore the happiest place on earth, Disney World, visiting Epcot. Followed by a wilderness hike in Florida’s central wetlands. We finish up in New York spending time between Long Island and immersing ourselves in the ambience of Manhattan with its stunning Central Park. This episode may be different but it’s certainly worth a watch!

Disney World’s Epcot 2:16
We start our US trip in Disney World where we take in Epcot. Meeting with friends during their Spring festival. We check out the most popular ride in the park, Guardians of the Galaxy and have dinner inside of Mexico.
Taylor & Aaron’s wedding (Bears Den) 14:23
We head to a private rented house in resort called the ‘Bears Den’ in Reunion, central Florida. Here we celebrate Miranda’s sister and husband’s wedding among friends and family. We check out a nearby waterpark and celebrate our engagement along with Miranda’s 30th birthday.
Medard Park Wetland (Plant City) 19:05
We take a hike through a central Florida Wetland, spotting tonnes of birds, including Herons, Egrets, Ospreys, vultures, cardinals along with lizards and gators, plenty of gators! We return to Miranda’s mom and step dads home in Lakeland before heading to New York.
Long Island 27:32
We return to Miranda’s home state of New York where we spend time with her Dad in Babylon before heading out to the Medford Patchogue area. Here we go for a hike in Heckscher State Park where we spot plenty of bird life and spend a rainy day hitting off at the tee at TopGolf.
Manhattan 32:11
We meet up with Miranda’s best friend on the upper west end of Manhattan. Here we explore local markets along with the world famous Central Park. We spot a family of Raccoons and a Ground Hog in this sprawling urban oasis. We head to a really cool jazz themed restaurant bar called Prohibition.
Long Island 36:43
We return to Long Island and meet with friends and family in Patchogue and Babylon to celebrate our engagement along with Miranda’s birthday before saying farewell to everyone and the USA itself on our way back to South America!
