Snow leopards are perfectly equipped to thrive in extreme, high-elevation habitats. How would you describe one of the world’s most elusive cats using one word?
Fantastic!
Endanger
Majestic!
Superior
Regal
Snow leopard: "I made my kill."
Union of Soviet Socialist Predators: "Our kill."

There ain’t no society rules for wild animals. In the wild, you take whatever opportunity you can to survive.

Kazakhs: Our kill. (Казахи: Наша добыча).
We must protect this magnificent cat and its habitat.
Smart cat knows when to stand down and wait it out. But what a rather peculiar gesture to rest its head on the meal, almost as if it's saying "ah.. finally, just you and me".
Haha

😂 Your comment is on point
Ooo really
there's something beautiful yet tragic about that
Well, I'm from Himalaya. I never saw these many animals but Nat Geo comes and shoot snow leopard, wolf, fox and all in one shot.
You guys are expert :)
these all animals are paid actors lol😝🤣🤣😂😂
Where in the Himalayas are you from? This is most likely Hemis National Park. In upper regions of Arunachal Pradesh there are snow leopards too. But there are no Grey Wolves therr but they have red pandas. The Himalayas are big place, with each place having different animals.
@dyy Fethiiyhn 🤣 lol
@@shivasrinivasan80 I'm from Lansdowne, Uttarakhand. Tiger & Leopard and Elephants in lower areas are common here.
That's cause there aren't many left dude
What...they had a camera in the carcass? That's dope!
I know right? When they showed that angle I was like "WHAAAAT?"..I sat here with my mouth open..not alot of things get that reaction from me nowadays, but that was AMAZING 😁👍
Much respect to those camera people, they make stuff like this possible for us to watch
It is fake, the carcass was planted there, the snow leopard didnt kill it
Totally disgusting.
y37chung snow leopards been doing that themselves for millions of years, whats a little filming efficiency gonna hurt
@@y37chung he did, if you sawr the special "wild indian" the leopard killed it In a coral and because of its size couldn't carry it away. They were filming in the area at the time, and NATGEO, got the villager to donate the carcass, so yes it was planted there with cameras all around.
The magpies are like house flies, buzzing around and trying to land on your food while you try to buzz them away
Hyraladen T ya I want to snap their neck and laugh
They aren't magpies, magpies are Australian
@@Ascylian There are more than species of magpie.🤦♀️ And in the film they literally said magpie multiple times. Jesus.
Such a beautiful animal
They sure are..I hope to get to a zoo to see some someday 😊
@@sunshinemishasmommy5352 some animals dont enjoy company, and snow "leopards" certainly wouldnt like and care about others company.

These wildlives looks very healthy. A million thanks for giving them space to hunt & feed. Wonderful!
they dont have much left, thanks to our population
‘Giving’ them space?? Hardly anybody lives in these places!
If you remeber Tai Lung from kung fu panda was a snow leopard 😊
Hahaha
@Daniel Callahan it's his mind to mind not yours .
@Daniel Callahan it's not your right to verbally abuse someone when they don't deserve it.
Daniel Callahan how is it pathetic he was just stated that tai lung is indeed based of a snow leopard Nd besides u took time off ur day to call him pathetic lol wat ppl do when they have no life

Nat Geo WILD when you first showed the wolf walking up what a fantastic shot that was.
We need a crowd funding campaign to buy the Snow Leopard a refrigerator... 😊
😂😂😂
The5th Musketeer lmao 💀💀
It lives in a refrigerated habitat. It's a *snow* leopard.
😂😅
Every single animal in this video is so beautiful I could cry ❤️
Also can we all agree that magpies are very beautiful birds?
What about Magpies? Are they?
Also we can all agree that you are very beautiful.
@YourBakaSenpai bro why not?
I wish we had more footage of Snow Leopards. I’m sure this footage took forever to get but I’m thankful it’s here.
(Vomiting)
I have only seen a snow leopard once. I was a kid and me and my family visited a place named vijaynagar, a place in Arunachal Pradesh (India). Awesome video🤟🙂👍💯
@M1 India very cold place. But beautiful too
3:07 ahhhh so this is how does the fox say xD

The snow leopard is considered to be the most beautiful creature on Earth by many people. However, we need to take a moment an appropriate the beauty of those grey wolves. Especially the way the one at 1:18 came into the scene. That coat is gorgeous, and the way the light radiates off of it is just...

First-rate cinematography. King of the mountain. Thank you Nat Geo Wild.
As much as I love wolves Siberian s and others...these snow leopards have to be the coolest land animal on the planet! To live in that environment chasing game down sheer mountains at 20,000 feet! Now that's survival!
The narrator , The camera inside carcass , the Nat geo wild is lit 🔥
So rare to see Snow Leopards. I love it 😻
India is so diverse when it comes to fauna and especially cats. Even Cheetah's once existed there until hunted by the Mughals and the British to extinction. The word cheetah even comes from the Sanskrit Chittar.
And now the cheetah is back in india after 70 years
They are back now
snow leopard, black panther, bengal tiger, asiatic lion, rahino, gharial, red panda, elephant, gaur, wolf, bear, jaguar, clouded leopard list goes on.. Its incredible India for you.
Yes brother.

Snow leopards are not the biggest, the fastest, the strongest of all the big cats but jeeeeeez. They're just beautiful, magnificent creature. Protect them at all costs.
This is real side of India, South Deccan Ghats, fresh waters, Kashmir, Himayala, Deserts, North East, Incredible India except few Hindi states polluting this country and they're overpopulated, mainstream media only focuses on Mumbai/Delhi/ Uttarpradesh.
Sad but true. All the metro cities are horrible.
@@golmoshy yes but without metrocities u won't see any development, and also 14 out of 20 most polluted places in the World* are in North India itself do u know that?
The wolves, fox and birds are the IRS when you finally make some money 😂
2:10 "No sooner have they left, a red fox begins to devour what he can" . Well, no, not really right away, you guys had time to put a camera in the carcass, so...
Thats some great camoflauge
That's why they are called "Ghost Cats"..from what I understand there are people who have lived their whole lives in the snow leopard regions and have never seen one..they can sit on an outcropping above a trail and humans could travel by and they would never know that beautiful animal is right above them..of course that also is to the species detriment because there isn't an accurate count of how many snow leopards are in the wild
@@sunshinemishasmommy5352 whoa😮
@@sunshinemishasmommy5352 we do have quite good population measures in russia and mongolia.
3:29 looks like he's blushing lol so cute
@NRG 2000 yeah and what about it? lol
The rational part of me: It is a predatory animal, we must leave them in peace.
Also me: *pet ze kitty*
Wow...that fox really took off...and made huge dust cloud.
Smart move on the fox's part.
This isn’t not a documentary: it’s a movie. They placed a carcass somewhere and the rest is all about cooking the book. Good job National Geographic.
The blood on the leopards face makes it looks like it’s blushing
👎👎👎👎👎 ???????????
The snow leopard is, in my opinion, the most beautiful cat in the world.
Oh,how beauty😍

Oddly enough the most remarkable of all the animals in this video is arguably the magpie, one of only a handful of animals on the planet capable of recognizing itself in a mirror. They're in good company, Orangutangs, Chimpanzees, Dolphins, Killer Whales, Elephants, Humans and the mighty Magpie. :)

Am I the only one who thinks that fox definitely used the "f" word after running from the leopard?
🤣🤣
Shoutout to the real heros, the camera crew! Yall are the MVPs
Both the snow leopard & the great wolf are so well camouflaged in these mountains
They must of used 2 different carcasses: one of a wild and one of a domestic cattle. Because otherwise there is no way they could of gotten that camera inside the carcass and that wouldnt affect how animals approach it. Animals would of sniffed and noticed that something is up.
Of course we will never know how the things truly went.
Anyways, great video, thanks for sharing.
No it was the same carcass
@@kaitolowo3308 how can you prove that? Also IF it was the same carcass, then why animals were not shown to be affected by its scent or by it being inside of animal? Film crew clearly said that snow leopard always kept a close eye on his prey.
It makes no sense.
@@markassko6426 Oh i guess you're right, both carcasses looks a little different
They did tried to narrate as if it was the same animal whole time so i didn't noticed..
Someone in the comments said the natgeo people got the villagers to donate the carcass and planted there with cameras all around
Bruh. Animals dont care if they can eat. U r in Himalaya. Ya dont know when will be the next time you will eat. If someone put a camera inside ur meal... U just eat... Before wolfs come
