Looking foward for new videos! Just a recommendation as someone who works for quite a time with embroidery Try to avoid using the spray, will gumm up your machine making dirt quicker, and helps with the needle wearing out quickertoo because the glue makes the needle "stick" to the fibers, wich make the needle hotter than the normal. Other thing, it is aways nice to hoop the entire stabilizer too, in your case your design is just satin stitches, kinda light so you can get away with it, but hooping a sheet of stabilizer makes super good to the stitch quality, and helps a lot when doing denser designs, shirt fabric is confortable/not dense this makes it worrible to hold any side tensions, this is why is important to have the stabilizer hooped too.
Please continue on different applications. Like a series to enlarge our visual learning. Maybe " freehand embroidery " where you cover a n area or a complete yardage with a embroidered pattern..fruit ,paisley, words. Etc
I definitely loved seeing the machine work before I got the hang of mine. Thanks for your comment! If there’s anything specific you’d like to see let me know
What machine do you use please? Wanting to get into creating my own clothing brand and this certainly looks like a more easier and possibly more money saving than all the other options I've looked into
Great video man. Embroidery Newbie Here. I have many questions. haha. Is the process the same for Sweaters and Jogging Pants? Do you have any Hat Embroidery Videos? And any specific machine you recommend ?
Thanks for the easy to understand tutorial! I've had my machine for 4 months, but we are still not on great terms. But watching this, and other tutorials I realize that I am going for too big of designs too early. and don't use nearly enough stabilizers! I knew the issue was me and not the machine, but when you know nothing - then knowing what you do wrong is hard hehe. Going to practice a bit more on flat and relatively stable fabrics tho
It’s actually a common thing I see, people buying a machine and waiting for a while to use it. You’re not alone in that at all, haha. I’m glad I could be of help, good luck with your embroidery!
Thank you for simplifying this t-shirt processing. My question is please. Once you measured via the hoop grid should the center chest logo /text be placed via the second hold center front? Hope this make sense. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks.
Hey, I understand your question perfectly! What you have to take into consideration is the size of your design. A nike swoosh for example is small enough for the top one, but if your design is significantly bigger you’d have to use the second hold center. The reason for that is that it’s the center of the design, so it has enough space around it to embroider. Hope I explained it properly, if not let me know and I’ll try again
First of all thanks for the tutorials, I just found your channel which looks absolutely fantastic! And I'm wondering to buy NV870E which avaliable in my country amazon or NV880 for a foreign cuntries! And is there a bug differences? Thanks!
mostly products/items i would need to get started, besides the machine, thread n hoop, basically things that come with a brother embroidery machine, and resources that can help me
Why do you use a dissolvable stabilizer on the front? If I were to use cut-away would I also be able temporaily glue on the back side as you did for the tear away? I am having to learn to embroider for work, so videos like this help. Thanks!
Dissolving stabilizer is used on certain fabrics such as fleece, minki or terrycloth that has some "body" to the fabric. It makes the embroidery stay on top, rather than sink into the fabric "body".
It’s a really broad question depending on your budget, any single needle brother embroidery machine will be good as a first machine. What kind of designs are you going to make and in what size?
Hey Daniels, I’m doing great and hope you are as well! If you look up “alignment ruler t-shirt” then you should find similar products. Let me know if that helped you!
Hi Diane! I generally use the standard +4 tension because I find it to be the best for this combination of garment and stabilizer. My advice is to try out different tensions whenever you work with a new garment and stabilizer to see what looks best. Eventually you’ll get a feeling for what works!

When you use the water soluble stabilizer you don’t need to add any glue, basically the first few stitches that your machine makes will keep it in place. Just make sure that it doesn’t wrinkle because it’ll affect the result.

Hand embroidery has way less limitations, but unfortunately it takes longer haha
do u know if i can use my brother embroidery machine like this?? its hard researching this thpe of stuff
nvm i just realized it was a brother machine u were using lol
Nice. Is that design on the flash disc or is it designed from the machine?

Thanks for this! Please How do you get rid of the embroidery plate marks on the shirt,
You can spray some water on it and iron it
Interesting way to mark a pocket! I’m going to try that! Also, does your needle get sticky from the spray?
Yeah but it’s very easy to clean

Dissolving stabilizer is used on certain fabrics such as fleece, minki or terrycloth that has some "body" to the fabric. It makes the embroidery stay on top, rather than sink into the fabric "body".

Great video man. But i was planning on doing super simble embroider by hand. Same process?
You can try, not too familiar with hand embroidery but the concept is the same
So just to be clear, once you wash it after all that the stabilizer in the front dissolves?
That is correct!
You can even pat it with a wet towel and it will dissolve
Fabulous!
Thank you!
blessings. what brand of shirt is this friend?
I believe it was a standard gildan shirt
😊 Great explanation. Thank you.
No worries glad it was useful :)
Thank you🎉
Thanks! Great tips.
You bet!
What kind of stabilizer is that in the back? And where is the link for everything you used?
I tried this with brother SE-400 and my fabric got stuck inside the machine
There's a lot of hoop burn. How do you et rid of that?
I spray water on it and iron it
is that a sewing machine that can make custom disigns and it will just sew it out for u?
that is correct :)
So you put stabilizer on top too?
Yes thats right

A generic one for crafts
@@bayarmadethis I would be really careful. If residue stays on the needle, it could cause costly repairs. Best wishes

How bout you want to do a long design on the arms? For what ik you can do so much in the hoop.
Yeah you’re right you’d have to cut off the fabric, embroider, and sew it again.
Very good.
What is the top stabiliser that you use?
It’s a non woven stabilizer, it’s 2mm thick
Where did you get the graph from to mark your shirts?
It’s a piece of chalk that you can find in most sewing sets
Can I just iron over the embroidery? I’m scared it will melt off

Where do you get your plain tees from?
Quite often local suppliers
