I started my embroidery journey about a year ago on a Tajima single head. And now i'm happy to say that i can run a 6 head machine and loving it. Super stoked for you Lee.
When a machine can pump out flawless products without sweating, it's a REAL asset to a business. Congrats dude, can't wait to see what else you make with Little Jimmy™
I just finished my first 100 plus cap order yesterday on my Tajima TMBR and it handled it so smoothly. Not one single thread break or needle break throughout the whole job. Tajima’s are beast machines.
I bought the TMEZ because I wanted the position alignment system (PAS). That feature sold me. The SWF is a fine machine. It now has everything including automatic tension that the TMEZ has. I talked with the manager at the head office and asked how well it sewed 60 weight thread. He had never tested that but he ordered the needle and thread and emailed a picture. The local sales representative had me visit with the owner of an embroidery business which had a 4 head and the newest single head SWF that I was considering. I actually liked the display better but I like to be as exact as possible with placement. Only a camera, which is in some home embroidery machines, can top the PAS. Oh, I think a company did come up with a camera as an add on.
The machine is nice, I run a 6 Barudan and a 4 head SWF, and I can tell the difference between the two also. I did notice the two designs are digitized different though. The blue ones text is digitized a hair wider and the fill stitch is at a different angle, the yellow one has more density to the fill stitch too which looks way better that way imo.
I agree as an experienced digitizer I can tell the tatami on the blue design doesn’t have underlay and has less density, the yellow one has a pattern , also the angle of the stitching is different, so they are not the same design . But I agree the Tajima makes good work .
Just got my tajima tmez last week! starting my embroidery trip! thanks for the Inspiration! Also do digizing Service for my customers hoop to buy another one soon!
A laser head will take it to the next level, have always had a thing for appliques and Tajima have them as add ons even for their single head machines. Not to mention multiple single heads can be daisy chained something have seen quite a number of print shops adopting instead of those super bulky multiple heads machines.

Whatever you do, don't go melco. The two best machines on the market today are Tajima and Barudan, nothing else really compares. The cost of entry is high but it's 100% worth it
Yo is your echo2 still up and running? Mines just lost the printhead which is stick in customs…. That embroidery looks fire. Might have to switch gears 😂
Hello and congrats for you beautiful job with all those videos! I want to ask you something that i can’t understand clearly.. You can put anything you want to create? Or they have their own designs for sweing? As an example.. i want to draw something (whatever it looks) this machine can print it for me?
I have the Tatami SAI, (8 needles) and it stitches wonderful. I never have to change the tension except on 12 weight thread. Hats come out great too. This brand is excellent on very small letters. I'm a small home business but I have done up to 49 hat which I used both 40 & 60 weight thread, without one thread break. I am really thinking of getting the TMEZ to get a larger embroidery field. SWF just came out with an auto tension and pressure foot too. So on paper, looks like the TMEZ only advantage is the position alignment feature which will cost me an extra 10K. I'm gonna check on the stitch quality of the new SWF next. Anyone have SWF KXT 1501model?
those are japanese beasts. thank you are putting it out there. i'm fed up with those PAID RICOMA videos which is no where close to the engineering behind tajima and barudans.

Edit : Black Death Metal Ordered ! First of many purchases I’ve been planning for years from you. Missed out on 38 Ride shop classics.
Thanks for the support! It's definitely been a crazy ride so far, plenty more to accomplish 🔥
@@leestuart38 that lid will be in my Ultra Classic Saddlebag and cover my chrome dome sans helmet . I’ll send everybody who ask about it to you and if I get to point of Merch for my hillbilly channel especially the motorcycle section you will be my go too .
Blending Cows Chickens Nature and Vance and Hines lol
I found I have to crank my bobbin tension to 400, run at 850/min and lift my presser foot 3-4 clicks up on my melco, but it puts out super nice hats and rarely has a threat break and once I actually knew what I was doing, never a needle break. Looks like your hat comparison was just a bobbin tension issue on the Melco. Do you still have the Melco? For sale?
100% Agree
what's the best way to find local shops that use this type of quality machine?
Hi Lee, do you know where I can find a video on the Touch Screen Operation Panel showing me how to operate this panel. I've got a job that has this very panel and I would love to learn more about it before I start my job.
what will be a good machine to start a small business ?
This one. Embroidery is not a place to save money, everyone regrets it. Buy nice or buy twice.
Have a 17 year old happy used to have 4 head Tajima... Tajima for hats all the way. I am looking new machines deciding between Tajima Happy or Melco. Tajima is like $10k more for similar features of Happy.
Might have to switch gears 😂
cant wait to see the video on the thunder laser!
Next!
@@leestuart38 heck yeah!
Hello Lee. When will you be doing a video on the Laser engraver ?
That one's coming next 🤘🏻
Hello and congrats for you beautiful job with all those videos! I want to ask you something that i can’t understand clearly.. You can put anything you want to create? Or they have their own designs for sweing? As an example.. i want to draw something (whatever it looks) this machine can print it for me?
Congratulations thank you
Thank you!
Which machine did u end up getting, literally in the same boat rn?…
I bought the TMEZ. See my other comment
those are japanese beasts. thank you are putting it out there. i'm fed up with those PAID RICOMA videos which is no where close to the engineering behind tajima and barudans.
My email inbox can 100% guarantee that they pay people or supply machines for good reviews unfortunately. The Tajima and Barudan are in a class of their own
Can send a link to where to purchase this machine specifically
This is about to be my next machine. I have a ricoma tc1501-7s it's OK but not the best. As I have embroidered with the best and I have some issues with it in caps.
You'll be amazed at how different it is once you make the switch
