I'm a big fan of Darkins and I waited for Naafiri. When I found out that she's liteally a dog... I don't care about Kayn anymore, I wanna main dog and type "wat da dog doin" in chat after every kill
You could consider bel Veth to be a monster but I don’t think it cuts just what we had in the older monster champion. It looks like a woman! Amazing concept but not monster enough for me. Thanks for the comment!
I agree, what is so awesome about the darkin is that the monstrous identity is already in the concept of sealing away such power within a weapon. It allows for humanoid characters to have monstrous qualities. Thanks for the comment!
Interesting! Sivir’s chakram being as notorious as it is, was always a mystery to me. Being wielded by one of the least beloved champions after all. Thanks for the comment!
Any darkin is a monster in my book! The lore behind the corruption of the animal naafiri helps immensely in being able to wrap your arms around the champion as a beastly monster. Thanks for the comment!
Gonna be honest... Naafiri was a major let down for me. She is literally just a dog with knives for a collar. She doesnt look powerful or posessed in the slightest. The pack mechanic doesnt look menaching at all and there are no new and interesting mechanics attached to the champion. Why would I play this over any other champion? Just because she has 4 legs?
I would overall have to disagree, but I explain why in the video a bit more thoroughly concerning the difficulty in making non monster champions as opposed to ones like naafiri. Thanks for the comment!

Thank you so much! Happy to have you along for the ride.
"First monster champion in 4 years." Bel'vet?

I was here when this great channel was at 400 subs
Stake your claim!
we need the Darkin that possesed a chicken and xolaani. I think xolaani would be fine as a humanoid release champ bc she is a darkin

zoe didn't imprison the darkin but the aspect of twilight before her did with sivir's chakram

Banger as always
I just uninstalled this fucking game XD it's like they know when to release the good stuff.
It’s like they intentionally lose the fan base just to pull them back in again! Thanks for the comment!
She's not really a monsters let's be honest, just like Yuumi ain't. She's an animal, monsters are like Kogmaw and Galio

I wonder what kind of virtue signalling will follow this, this is too good to be real 😊😅😊
Yah… especially with riot, it feels too good to be true for this to be a trend.
