Great review. Now that you have tested this out how would you compare the acceleration to the 2023 Nautilus 6 cylinder?

I would say it's on par if not a tad bit faster than the old 2.7 TT V6 found in last year's Nautilus

@@jmc6000I'm skeptical about your hybrid performance guess. According to the latest info on the Lincoln website, the final numbers the hybrid is putting out are 300 hp and 295 lb ft of torque. This compares to 335 hp and 380 lb ft of torque for the 2.7 V6, which does 0-60 in 5.9 seconds. This suggests the only way the new hybrid is as fast as the twin turbo V6 is if the 2024 Nautilus has lost a significant amount of weight compared to its predecessor - which admittedly I'm not sure if that's the case or not. We'll have to wait for measured road tests, but I'll be very surprised if the new hybrid is a sub 6 second car 0-60 with its output numbers.

@@craigd10 I will wait to test mine with my draggy once it comes. the 8F57 is not very good at putting power down and Ford severely limits 1st and 2nd gear boost. The eCVT will hold the engine in the power band better and the electric motors make peak output at all RPMs. The 2.7 is a great motor but the rest of the system cripples it to compete with vehicles with 260-300hp.

@@jacyedwards4452 you make a solid point that the 2.7 twin turbo is held back by its transmission tuning. Case in point: the similarly powered and heavier BMW X5 xDrive40i does 0-60 in 4.8 seconds as proof the 2.7 should have more performance. If despite it lesser output, the new hybrid mated with the eCVT ends up quicker along with being much more fuel efficient, then I may well be looking to replace my 2019 Nautilus with one. But for now, I remain skeptical it will be a sub 6 second car with less than 300 lb ft of torque pulling 4500 lbs from standstill.

@@craigd10 First thing ill do when mine hits 1000 miles (Due any day now) is perform a dragy run and log its performance. Ill try and remember to respond to this post with the outcome. My edge ST did 0-60 in 5.74 with some slight wheel spin.
