Layman here with no experience with audio design, I'm a little confused. I went to look up what LUFS is, per your last video's recommendation. From what I gathered, negative numbers closer to 0 are perceived as louder (so -6 is louder than -8). At 8:32 you flash the LUFS of the first 2 tracks, and say that the track with -3.8 LUFS is _less_ noisy than the one with -4.2 LUFS. Am I totally misunderstanding how LUFS work, or were you also referencing the dbFS (TP), or? An explanation on what LUFS values are louder/softer relative to each other in-video would have been nice.
Oops, my bad. It was just a typing mistake. I got 'without' and 'with' mixed up. To clarify: As you pointed out, when comparing -3.8 LUFS and -4.2 LUFS, -3.8 LUFS is indeed louder. And I fully understand that. What I meant to say in that scene was that if some of the sound cues are cancelled out by LRT, it would explain why 1,000 coins with LRT would end up being less noisy than 1,000 coins without LRT. As in, fewer sound cues equals less sound equals less noisy. So yes, it was just a simple typing mistake on my part.

UA-cam really won't let me turn off stable volume while on mobile. Congratulations! An unstoppable force needs barriers to know how fast it's going when it crashes through them, and this certainly qualifies

A funny way of conveying just how loud this is could've been to fight a boss at the same time as this is running. Like you can hear the relative loudness even with the audio turned down

i listened to the original audio with 25% loudness on my laptop and 100% loudness on the google drive. all i can say is that the sound is unpleasant. not painful or anything, it just felt like the right sound for the word "annoying".
so if the sound is what's making the frame drop, wouldn't the huge magic missile pileup from the previous video benefit from having sound off in terms of time it takes to build up?
I dont know if mappy does video suggestions but afaik its possible to beat calamity's primordial wyrm pre-moonlord using teleporters and the influx waver.
They have no meaningful lifetime. You could use it to DELETE all projectiles on demand, but it wouldn't be persistent, the moment a new projectile is created (see when he places new coins) the old ones instantly turn into items. It *might* work if you were to drop them through the entire world's length or something. But that's kinda one-use lol.
