You said you can't make a money farm, even with an autoclicker, but could this not be incorporated into a more "standard" farm with tougher enemies that normally can't be farmed, like the pumpkin or frost moon, not in dissimilar manner which you previously farmed using the last prism?
as high as the damage is, i find it hard to believe that the range the last prism provides and the ability to deal constant damage to the entire spawning area is beaten by the railgun setup. who knows though, maybe mappy will find some setup to make it far more efficient lol
The spawning rules putting the "things that need to go into the pointy end" far from said pointy end will definitely be the biggest challenge in the way of making a farm out of this for sure
@@icicleditor maybe if hoiks were used to bring the enemies closer as soon as they spawn, but that wouldn't affect enemies that ignore walls so it wouldn't be very useful for frost/pumpkin moon
I have a feeling the fastest killing method would be either the Blade Staff due to how fast it attacks, or maybe something unspoken of like true melee with insane attack speed
Didn't think it would be this simple to set up such a complicated looking device wow. As for the fastest no hyper-sweat way to kill DG I would probably guess it would mostly come from debuffs, probably mainly the debuff daybreak inflicts.

@@locrianphantom3547 The only hard requirement to beat skeletron is actually letting the cultists spawn, because of the 1/2000 mechanical skull drop. So I think you can reach post-Golem without beating him. I only made my comment because I figured the commenter wasn't in Hardmode if they used a hoik setup.
This is actually really useful because recently i made a texture pack that replaces the dungeon guardian's pet, and I don't want to go through the hassle of killing it everytime

the fast old fashioned way I remember of killing the dungeon guardian is a flight mount with any fast firing gun with crystal bullets and lots of criticals.

Maybe in a drunk world with theoretical perfect play? That's only if Mechanic can spawn in the parts of the dungeon above guardian range there, but wiki says she only spawns in cavern layer and this matches with my own experiences. You would also need to enter hardmode and likely kill a mech for hallowed jousting lance, as 30% bestiary is infeasible for a single day. I guess you could use multiple worlds for it? But that kinda defeats the point.
@@kellamyoshikage286 With transmutation, you can get any item in the game with a bast statue and a dart trap that you find underground (plus a few other inexpensive items), so mechanic, drunk world, and zoologist would not be required.

This could also involve town npcs hitting it.

Yes just one, you can instakill the Queen Bee by letting her bump into the horde of DGs. Other than that, I can think of a few things but none of them are realistic that even I wouldn't try them.
hmm, i'm sure shimmer bouncing projectiles would be useful for something like the instant sun just add flamelash... that could oneshot eoc, boc (using mob cap abuse to prevent creepers), eow (again, to only spawn 2 segments) but skeletron would seem a bit tricker since you'll have to move the old man over to the shimmer as pumps are post-skeletron...

Full stardust with blade staff with rainbow sentry from ml and kaleidoscope and morning star seems like that could be good and other summon accessories and buffs but I could be wrong
For real you need your own item something completely broken like a sand block that does one damage but scales in any way, just something only you could break.

let me guess the trick, max speed luminite pickaxe (1 use time), titanium armor (1 shard per hit - double dps), and a smattering of minions, sentries and other such passive damage sources for extra hits and shards.

For fastest dg kill it would always come down to a hybrid because stardust guardian, dragon, and the right setup of fast attacking minions would attack very efficiently From then probably just stack melee swing modifiers on something like psycho knife although that is unrealistic to stay in range the whole time

DG used to be vulnerable to (some) debuffs, that got changed at some point, don't remember when. So you don't have a false memory

There is a glitch in T-Mod loader that removes the ability to one-shot the DG, so until that is fixed, it won’t work.

For fastest dg kill it would always come down to a hybrid because stardust guardian, dragon, and the right setup of fast attacking minions would attack very efficiently
From then probably just stack melee swing modifiers on something like psycho knife although that is unrealistic to stay in range the whole time
