DRAG RACING OUR GOLF CARTS!

Today we head out to The port huron motorcycle club for the OPEN STEERING WHEEL SHOOTOUT! ANY VEHICLE WELCOME! We decided to throw a wrench in the norm bracket racing classes and see what our lithium golf cart could do! So we brought no other then the "baby tesla cart" 70 volt Eco battery powered navitas 600 amp 5 kw ac converted cart. Accompanied by the beige queen herself powered by US 12 volt lead acid batteries and a silver wolf ac swap. This is a bracket style race we start out by signing in for the bracket class. We next attend a drivers meeting with all the rules for the days race. We then head to the track and make a few runs to dial in our times for the bracket class.

Bracket style is a form of drag racing that allows for a handicap between predicted elapsed time of the two cars over a standard distance, typically within the three standard distances (1/8 mile, 1,000 foot, or 1/4 mile) of drag racing, In this case we are running 300ft. Once we have our times dialed in its time to race!
