For this list, we’ll be looking at the games that topped the charts on their respective Nintendo consoles. Our list of best-selling games on every Nintendo console includes "Super Smash Bros. 7 out of 11 Nintendo systems always has a Mario game being the best selling game, the only 4 consoles where Mario was not the best selling, were the Game Boy, and Game Boy Advance, both of which have a Pokémon game as the best selling, the GameCube has Super Smash Bros. Melee, and the Wii having Wii Sports.
Should’ve mentioned the Booster Course Pass while talking about Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as that’s what getting more copies of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe sold

@@BryanKalloo it’s a dlc that Nintendo released earlier this year for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe that features courses from previous Mario Kart games including Mario Kart Tour and also adding some new courses and it very recently started adding characters from previous Mario Kart 8 games as well there are 6 new cups and they released the first 5 with the 6th and final one coming out sometime later this year for a another 48 courses and a total of 96 courses all together

No surprise that Mario and Pokemon are the flagship stars of Nintendo's lineup. Super Mario World is still hands down my favorite Mario Game and Mario Kart 7 is the one racing game I've played the most out of. Its just fun!
Mario has ALWAYS been a Part of Nintendo Throughout the Years in the Making. His Video Games are all Super Awesome, Incredible, Amazing, Remarkable, Spectacular and Fantastic to play.

But I want nintendo put stuff on the small screen tv series like pikmin animated TV show while others can appeal to teenagers audiences like a fire emblem anime and xenoblade chronicles anime
Give us a Metroid movie and it should be animated via CGI and hell get maybe Guillermo del Toro to direct since he loves animation and Metroid has some monsters too

Are they counting the games that sold alone or with the console itself because some these games came with the console as a bundle?
Pretty sure they’re counting them as bundles. Super Mario world was basically the bundled game with the SNES through most of its life cycle, with Mario paint and Mario All Stars being alternative options at a later time. Wii Sports definitely came bundled with the Wii and was a huge factor in its sales. I think the list would’ve been more interesting if they had excluded bundled games because they’re essentially just giving the sales numbers for the console itself.
Why do people count games that were BUNDLED with the console as best selling?
Because after awhile with sports was no longer bundled with the console and despite that it still sold well
I love how do you mention DS games like Nintendo dogs? I was a cute game I wish I still have my copy but I have the 3DS version with the cats in it and I also have a Nintendo switch game that’s similar to it and I play it sometimes I also like that you guys mention GameCube

Mario Kart 8 deluxe for Nintendo Switch is one of best-selling game and im so glad i've had that game since year 2019 last 4 years and it's still a great game. I like new Mario Kart 8 deluxe's booster course dlc waves and I can't wait the last waves. 🎮🌃🛣🏎

How funny, as it's not actually every Nintendo console on the list, I'd like to know which was the Virtualboy best seller tho, I know it was worst than WiiU in terms of sales as I actually like the WiiU but I've the same question for other consoles like all those GB editions as I can name GB, GBC, GBA and the 3DS also has it's kinda Pro version as the New 3DS which had some games that couldn't be played on the 3DS

IT COMES WITH THE CONSOLE so of course it's gonna sell well, it comes with the Wii be default so you can't get one without the other.

So the reason for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe success is because it was bundled with the switch for the Holidays and up until last year it was still bundled with the switch. Word of mouth got around too and then everyone wanted the game. It still to this day goes on sale every Black Friday for the families that couldn't get it any other way or just want some money shaved off of the original $60 price tag
That's how most of these games sell so many copies, they come bundled with the systems.

Pack-in syndrome. Of course the game people got WITH THE CONSOLE is going to be its best seller. Let me guess, Wii Sports is the best seller for the Wii? Just thought the video would have a bit more substance than a Wikipedia page read.
That was the case for every Wii most yes but not all. I can remember some having mario Kart bundled in and after while wii sports was just no longer bundled with it. Yet despite that the game continued to sell. I would also argue that syndrome doesn't really exist as with the wiiu Nintendo World was bundled in with every Deluxe model which eventually became the only model and Nintendo World comes no where near Mario Kart 8
Yeah I mean pack in syndrome is a thing. However I think Nintendo is really good at starting there consoles with a big game. I mean some of these games are considered the greatest games of all time. Definitely some of the greatest games on the console.

I got n64 to switch. Me mostly smash and kart series was where is it. 2:00 oh you doing gameboy got all even light. Ds got all almost too if you during that. Writing before I watch hole thing. Smash GameCube must bern my love at the time. 😊
These aren't quite fair because many of the Mario games came with the systems.
