For free? I'm sure you mean in exchange for an email address.
I gave the name Frank Sinatra but a legitimate email address and didn't get the list of foods you promised for 'free'.
You mentioned onion as high in Carbs and that is startling. In any event you should have expounded on good carbs which is not debilitating to the body. Thanks
Thank you for the food list
Thanks.
Dr. Gillaspy: Have now tried 4 different times to download your list - not in my spam folder. Help!
This is the kind of YT video one wants to see.
Mature, no blabbering, fake smiling .. to the point and smooth dissemination of Info.
Agreed!
I've been doing this for over two years now. Went from 80 kiloes to57 within a few months. Sugar under control again. Cholesterol normal. Recommended for everyone. Thanks for this!
keep going Monica!
Keep it up👍👍👍👍
Well done you are an inspiration
Give us an update! I love hearing real results by women. It’s hard out there for us to lose weight. I’m 3 weeks in. I don’t want to weigh myself until I’m 8 weeks in. I’m afraid I’ll be discouraged if I only see a couple pound difference
Great
I have a feeling that the patients that come to you gets at least half healed listening to you speak, Doctor. Such a soothing voice 😌

Couldn't agree more
I so agree with you
So true! She’s so calm and chill. I like that Dr. Becky doesn’t lecture or sound condescending. Love her videos!
I was just thinking that her voice is so soothing!
Thank you so much. I've lost 32 pounds so far. My weight plateaued about 20 pounds in but i realised i was overdoing the fats so adjusted my intake and the weight shifted again. I avoid processed foods, keep to a 6 hr eating window but dont eat late in the day. Sleep has improved. I feel better than i have for years. I cant thank you enough.
As a recent exercise science graduate that participated in research on low carb diets I really appreciate your videos. The results we found overtime for consistent individuals was astounding!!
Loving your calm presentations and straight forward information. I started a keto, low carb lifestyle 11 months ago, I’m 57 and have lost about 40 lbs, however since the new year I have occasionally eaten a few more carbs and sugars, getting stuck in that sugar cycle and I’ve been struggling to lose my last 20 lbs, I keep losing and regaining the same 10lbs over and over in the past 4 months, which is frustrating. Thankfully I’ve kept my intermittent fasting going, otherwise I may have regained it all back. I’m at the top of my healthy weight range but I’d really like to be at the lower end, it’s there that I lose all my belly fat and feel most comfortable, I’m feeling inspired again by watching your videos thank you 😊
Becky & Keith. I just want to jump in and say thank you. I'm an ex tradesman and was very active. A sudden long term illness means I've been housebound for 2 years and am now pretty much chair bound. I'm on heavy meds that encourage weight gain, I'm alone all day and eating became one of my few pleasures, consequently I've gained 60lbs.
Purely following you're concise instruction, I've started losing without exercise of any kind, and am never hungry. Like Keith, fortunately I don't get bored with a repetitious diet and I am able to keep everything simple and eat the same meals daily. I'm enjoying the whole experience 2 weeks in.
You have no idea how this has lifted me, I thought I was heading into being a take the wall down and get me out case.
I sit and watch several of your videos at random every day and always learn, even if I've seen them before. I just need to get my wife on board who is the biggest sugar addict you've ever seen.
I hope you get back whatever you are hoping for from this, you have saved me, quite literally. I'll come back and let you know how I go on long term.
Thank you again. Graham Manchester UK.
Graham, your comment touched my heart. Thank you, and I wish you all the best!
@@beckygillaspy Thank you, I'll be here the other side of the screen, and will be in touch further down the line.

Good job
A very logical and simple way of explaining, not to mention how soft spoken you are!
Thanks for giving us the straight scoop in short videos. You do a great service to humanity.
You are the first reasonable and informative person on this topic on the entire internet
It would be really helpful if you could do a segment on high spiking insulin foods and low spiking insulin friendly foods. Both in vegetables, root vegetables grown underground are higher spiking than green leafy vegetables grown above ground.
Also which fruits are more insulin friendly than those that are high spiking fruits.
Such a calming voice
And so clever😅
I was about to say that lol very soothing

I appreciate the information you provide in improving health through diet. I have chronic pain from degenerative spine issues which also triggers nerves and peripheral neuropathy. With your background, would you ever consider producing a video for a daily diet that focuses on relieving chronic pain?

@@beckygillaspy Hello. Thanks for all your helpful videos. Clear and concise information is what the man in the street can put into action.
On the other hand, for the more science oriented crowd, there is a recent article you might want to highlight.
R. de Cabo & M.P. Matton, (2019)
Effects of Intermittent Fasting on Health and Aging. New England Journal of Medicine. 381: 2541-2551. December 26, 2019.
I hope you find it as interesting as I did.
Ma'am your explanation is very nice and understandable
Priceless information! Thank you!
Just discovered this channel. Great content! A balanced scientific view with no apparent biases!
Saturated fats are not discussed so "balance" is ignored.
Bless ur cotton socks! I needed this refresher x

THANK YOU DR. BECKY FITNESS!!!
Dr. Becky, I’m learning about the amazing health benefits of WATER CRESS! It seems that
it’s a powerhouse of nutrients which has been flying under the radar all along. Could you
by chance give us some in-depth information on this wonderful superfood? I discovered it
recently and can’t understand why it’s been kept such a secret! Thanks for your great talks!
Thank you and great presentation.
Thanks Dr Becky !
But why do you not go for lactose free dairy products ?
Also please have a little bit
mentioned about oxalats in your recommended foods !
Almonds and spinach , rubarbs for instance are high in oxalat acid and should be eaten together with some lactose free dairy product!
Again, another helpful video. Thank you!
Great video Dr Becky! 🙂
Dr. Becky, have you ever tried bulletproof tea? I basically make a keto chai latte with black chai tea, coconut and almond milk (both unsweetened), ghee, and coconut oil. I also add some stevia, cinnamon, pure vanilla extract, and pink Himalayan sea salt. It sounds like a lot, but when whipped together, it is delicious! It reminds of a coffee shop order.
Thank you for the reminder Doctor..after the last few weeks it is absolutely necessary👍👍
Sometimes I miss a piece of loaf bread with some peanut butter, just for a little snack.
Thank you, this was very helpful. Subscribed
Excellent information. Thanks so much.
Informative. Thank you.
Very helpful video!!! Thank you!
Excellent & fantastically useful video. Thks.
Just started watching your videos today, and I must say, this is interesting. I decided to subscribe.

Very educational & your wealth of knowledge is impressive regarding healthy eating choices!
Hi Jeff Jones. Do I know you? Are you brother to Sam Jones?
Very informative. Thank you Doctor.
Hi Dr. Becky,
Thanks for all you do, really appreciate your videos.
I was wondering if Konjac noodles are okay on a low carb diet. Thank you.
I love everything you do thanks
I could fall asleep listening to your voice. Thanks for the info
I have twin boys, one of them was eating sardines everyday for breakfast from aged 5 before school. He is now 22 & still eats sardines.
Thank you! Great no-fuss presentaton as well. My daughter has done this type of diet and has recommended it to me. I start tomorrow!
Wonderful! I wish you the best!
That was quite a comprehensive yet practical discussion. Thank you so much :)
Really like this video, packed with information and easy to follow this sound advice. I can concur with the dark chocolate, my minimum go to now is 85% cocoa and I have approx 10 gram piece occasionally, my friends with a sweet tooth think it’s disgusting, but I love the bittersweet taste of it. I also find I don’t crave sugar in the same way, so I don’t need sweeteners like stevia or erythritol. As a bonus, my dental hygenist said my teeth don’t need as much cleaning as plaque likes starches and sugars.
The Dr is right about the nuts, it’s easy to overindulge.
Thanks for the list; a life changer?!
Thanks for sharing your knowlegde Dr. Becky!!
By listening to you regularly now I just buy what you suggest. Thanks!
Great video, thank you🤗
Excellent video doctor, thank you
Wonderful indeed Dr. Thanks again and regards.
Very helpful to me Becky coming from a guy that has eaten junk and candy my entire life and finally trying to avoid diabetes and clean up my eating act at the age of 54. Thanks so much!
Could you please give us an update? How are things for you at this stage?
Older we get it’s harder to loose weight - I am struggling so much
Hope things are well David!

"questionable health value"
a phrase that should be used more often by health gurus
Great informational video packed with good information! In addition to onions, I'd also note that beets are a bit questionable as a "low carb" vegetable.
I want to thank u so much for this information this is very helpful. Going to the market
Thank you for the wonderful list of low carb foods. What would you recommend for a salad dressing?
Some mayonnaises are good, read the labels. Olive oil, avocado oil, hemp oil, lemon juice, cider vinegar with the mother.
Very helpful, thank you! I didn't know that about cream vs milk .

You may try intermittent fasting 16:8,then have your first meal (maybe the oats combo).
Then choose something else with about 20g carbs for dinner.
Don't forget to add some exercise. Walking for about 30 minutes is fine.
All the best.
Thank you Dr
You could make your own kefir which cuts some of the lactose. Kefir lactose is 3.7gm per serving. Kefir is typically lower in lactose than yogurt and therefore may be tolerated better by people with lactose intolerance. Yogurt fermentation is shorter than Kefir. Home made kefir is usually fermented just under 24 hours.
