That line was very impactful for me and it really does showcase the pain you have gone through with your family. It’s shows how your family thinks they are pure saints when in reality your family is the sin that they fear the most. I have experience with these types of christians they will do despicable things to you and then they will try to pray away their sins and ask for forgiveness from god when in reality they should be asking for forgiveness from their victims not god. Religious trauma really messes with your head because it makes you feel as if you are the sinner. I want you to know that this isn’t your fault and that you have done nothing wrong. Some Christian’s will push their insecurities on you and make you feel like your unworthy of love but you are worthy. Take care.
I'm sorry for what you've had to go through. It also sickens me that people can use their religion as an excuse to discriminate against others and that so many people have trauma because of religion. What happened to 'love your neighbour as yourself'?
RIGHT?? genuinely sickens me that the same people that’ll preach to love everyone are the ones tearing down anyone for anything they do. if they really wanna follow their word then they’d know all sins are equal (with the exception of blasphemy) so why do we tear down people over some things & not others? or “do not judge or you too will be judged”?? absolutely sickens me.
I KNOW RIGHT?! I wouldn't exactly call myself a Christian but I am a believer in Christ, and seeing people proclaim themselves as part of a religion then using it as an excuse to shame, humiliate, harm, mock, and outcast people is disgusting.
Yeah, as a Catholic people who do this and claim to be for God love their hatred and agendas more than they love the lord. They care not of his word but what useful things his word can do for their sick agendas. What degenerates.
As a religious person, this breaks my heart. Jesus looks at homosexuals the same way he does as everyone, his children. I am sorry that they have given you trauma. I keep you in my prayers that you are safe, and that you are recovering.

Its so scary, hoping you deal a bit better when people relate bc Ive often been told Im attacking Christianity for saying I have a bad experience with religion as many do :(
