I recently downloaded TE Act II Steel Talons: Dying Sun (Complete), added the map to my Maps folder, then I decided to go through the Act_II_Steel_Talons_1 folder and deleted all unnecessary files such as map.bin, map.manifest, map.imp, map.relo, map.str. (I thought that these files were unnecessary, but they are needed for the mission) Then I went into the game to play the mission Act_II_Steel_Talons_1 built the WarFactory building and the military transports were simply changed to regular ones, it seemed strange to me that I deleted the files as map .bin, map.manifest, map.imp, map.relo, map.str This already makes it difficult for me to make this map.bin, map.manifest, map.imp, map.relo, map.str Please make a video and tell me how you did it, I really want to make a full map about the mission Is it really difficult to tell us?
Hi, map.bin, map.manifest, map.imp and map.relo are all automatically created when a Worldbuilder map is saved and are required for the associated map to work. Apart from that, there's nothing special about those files as far as I know. map.str is required if you're planning to display text during the mission and remove the 'MISSING:' aspect of the text. As for Logicset changes, it needs a dedicated logicset.xml file and only works if the map is compiled through Mod SDK. Unfortunately, I am unable to use Mod SDK for some reason on my relatively new PC, so I won't be able to show how it works in a video, nor do I have the time to as I'm working on other projects.
