Picked up my Electric Lime 2022 TRD Pro manual transmission 3 months ago and I am in love with it!! The rugged simplicity of this rig is not for everyone to be sure, but it's absolutely perfect for what I want. Your reviews really helped me make the decision to invest in this beast. Thanks for that and keep up the good work!
Congrats on your new truck. So glad toyota is keeping the body design and manual transmission for 2023! I got lucky and found a '21 army green tacoma 4wd with manual trans so happy! .
Hi, there ordered/ purchased 2121 Tacoma TRD Sport with 6M, took delivery of the 2022 Tacoma in February of this year. Quite enjoy it, no drawbacks to a key or manual tranny, just a theft deterrent. Cheers to you all.
I have basically that same truck 6-speed manual mine is just a 4x4 off-road I'm not missing any Fox shocks because I don't go off-roading enough and I would rather have my vehicle a little more Street orientated because that's where I spend most of my time I appreciate the reviews as always Jeff clean Tacoma I like the white... Mine is blue crush metallic 🎨
Nice rig have a black one coming replacing my manual with a automatic. Basically remote start is a must in new York. Electric lime is sweet though will miss it. Going back to the incognito colors. 😂
Bought a 17 off road crash it almost passed away on my first month of owner ship been 5months ago but waiting 4gen ❤❤❤ great review jeffff happy thanksgiving
i wished toyota make a 2.7 litter with 6 speed manual transmission 4 by 3 this is what i really need in the future Toy will make a 2.5 with turbo Tacoma .
Good review Jeff. I wish I could justify buying a new Tacoma, but at 61 years old I have trouble getting in to the truck. Unless Toyota makes those electric extending side steps it would be difficult to buy one. I love the TRD Pro though. Happy Thanksgiving.
@@crusherman96 what are you talking about bro, apple carplay has been in even economy cars for over 5 years, I have a 2017 Silverado HD LT, it has Apple car play, we’re talking about a 2023 $65K Toyota truck
@@nathanrobertson3349 Ya Toyota makes a bullet proof drivetrain for sure, and they're crazy reliable, but Chevy/GMC have caught up, as has Nissan Frontier , which actually has much better driving dynamics and more power.
@@michaelmancini5773 well reliability, not to mention the re-sale value is unmatched by the competitors. So it’s about what floats your boat. The competitors make great vehicles everyone just picks what best suits them
Why wouldn’t they go the extra mile on this high dollar , underwhelming powertrain trucks key and start system. You can definitely have a manual transmission and push start. Out the door this truck is around 60k, it should definitely look into their competitors in 2024, they will have to fine tune those details . That Colorado,Canyon looks like its looking to take the top spot for midsize trucks
well you know, just list everything out like a bot reading a specs page. don't bother actually reviewing it or anything. I think people today have no concept of what a review is. All they do is "showcase" a press unit as they regurgitate a spreadsheet I've read long before showing up on youtube, but I guess I'm alone in that. A "review" requires professional analysis and criticism, it's so much more than just ticking boxes on a list. The point is to tell us what we don't know, which requires experience with the product and making observations. That entails more than a single test drive from someone who is neither a long term owner, mechanic or an engineer... With no credentials and no experience, these people have literally no qualifications to validate their authority.
Kind of a joke to call it a pro because really a professional 4WD truck would have front and rear lockers. BTW manual transmissions are a pain in the butt off-roading. Automatics are much easier for off-roading.
Thanks for watching & Subscribing! What do you think of Tacoma and of TRD Pro? Do you know how to drive a stick? Jeff

Can you explain why if you buy a manual tacoma you cant get the jbl audio system and a few other amenities the automatic get

I just took delivery of my 2022 Tacoma TRD Pro 4 months ago! 😂
Next week my white 2023 Tacoma TRD pro with the manual transmission will be arriving at the dealership. Im stoked.
You're so cheesy... I love it! Waiting on my black 2023 Taco Pro arriving in March... Manual!!!!!! Great Review!!
It's impressive to know a Manual transmission Toyota Tacoma trim is available in the US.
Reliably Beautiful mid-size truck! It’s definitely not for everyone vehicle. Thanks Toyota for making quality products. I love my 5th gen 4Runner!
@ 2:36 "I say this with a heavy hood". I lol'd

Jeff, thank you for all your reviews. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Fred Anderson is truly “The Family Store”!
🎶You can have me on a Sunday a Sunday🎶 Jeffrey!!🤣
I’m buying this and then trading it in for the revamped 2024
Wait a few years to see how the new engines are and hiccups

no front locking diff? just rear for 23
But Is it worth buying over the trd off road for an extra $10k
Hey Jeff, do you guy’s have another white manual TRD PRO yet?
after deciding between this and 4 runner offroad premium i am not waiting on my dark grey tacoma pro to come in march 12.. i cant wait

Do you have any idea why Toyota is not making SR5 , 4DOOR, 4X4,6FT BED TRUCK
They do here in Canada
But we can’t get a Trd off road, 4 door, 4x4, 6’bed- we con only get with 5’ bed. Sad😢
@@dut5111 thanks friend at least I know they’re are some made
Are you selling at MSRP price for this TRP PRO Tacoma?
No answer is not a good sign…
There is definitely a portion that was not shown on the price sheet as you can tell in the video 😂.
Exact color and styling I'd get lol very jealous
MANUAL ALL THE WAY!!!
Thank you for reviewing a manual transmission Tacoma ❤
Do you know if you can install automatic start ?
I googled it. You can supposedly add a viper auto start but it’s a little janky. I think I’ll do it anyways
Great videos.Even ended with a Ric Flair nod.
Nice review. Nice truck.

Toyota has that electric seat t...its for the Sienna
You can always add side power steps after the purchase
NICE 🙂👍 thanks Jeff🥰
As someone with a Tacoma, I will say that bed will definitely scratch and chip if you're loading furniture
Ya it’s a truck bed… that’s ok
Im gonna get 1 next year
At this price point, no power passenger seat, and no wireless Apple carplay, are you kidding Toyota????
But it still outsells ranger, Canyon and Colorado.. So Toyota thinks - Jokes on you.
Barely any cars have wireless car play. This truck didn't even have wired car play until 2020

Problem is the trail does not come in manual.
I need this white 2023 Tacoma
Guess no one caught the Kylo ren undercover boss reference
All I can say is I am thrilled that you got it. That’s one of my favorite skits of all time.
Awesome review 👌🏼. BUT A KEY!!!!!!!!! Come on Toyota, what a buzzkill.

please we need 1
No bed lights unreal
it feels like there is nothing to review here... but the color.... toyo guard for $699??? what a rip...
I'll just wait for the 2024 for the updated tech
Why don't you tell us how much you can sell it for.I have been buying new vehicles since 1969 and its all a cat and mouse game.

BS that Toyota didn’t put a push start and keyless entry on a MT $50k+ truck
They don't give you the JBL speakers either on the manual
On the manual it has the key 🔑 makes sense
nice
All it needs is a Turbo.
Who puts 16" wheels on a truck
Make an effort and wash it before filming.

Blah ...Looks just like my 2019 trd . Maybe 2024 will have a true redesign . And in the future WASH the truck for the review . Thanks for the content
2023 still have the key 😂 kidding me. Can’t barley see the trd pro stamp on the side.
The manual ones have a key....
Kind of a joke to call it a pro because really a professional 4WD truck would have front and rear lockers. BTW manual transmissions are a pain in the butt off-roading. Automatics are much easier for off-roading.
Love stick shift better then automatic I’m get me one
50 k for that little truck and made in Mexico…nope for me
Yet it almost never loses its value...solid truck, especially the TRD Pro models
😂 lower price for the top line trim than any other comparables
