@Aubig eehhhh it's less hate and more indirect bullying of DRK. Considering its got no self heal you have to be constantly taken care of by the healer so people bash on it for being the worst tank. I beg to differ myself

I wished abyssal drain had charges or we had something more to help dark knight survive in big packs of enemies. TBN is still a good mit but it feels like heart of corundum on gunbreaker just does it better now. Dark knight is about letting out the inner darkness.. because we suffering.
I wish Abyssal Drain was a GCD again, it use to give a powerful heal (much like war does now) to use often before Shadowbringers ruined being an ability and not a spell anymore.
drk currently is in such an odd state because it sometimes feels like its just a few changes away from having its issues fixed. make 2/3rds of their mitigation not situational, make tbn not be wasted if it isnt fully broken, and make delirium not just boneless inner release and actually something unique like every other tank has. theres more that could be better (better self sustain, split abyssal drain and carve and spit cooldown are ones i can think of) but those 3 changes would go a long way

Only level 51 on my DarkKnight but love the asthetics, the level 50 quest really hits you in the feels. The rotation at this level feels really slow and squishy, looking at the comments it seems that doesnt really change.
I don’t dislike the merging of delirium and blood weapon, but I don’t love it. Pure middle of the road for me. I do miss plunge. I LOVE that Living Shadow doesn’t need gauge anymore.

I leveled them to 50 for this purpose. and considering its impossible to find tanks for shit i dont care if people think im squishy. At least im getting us out of que guess what we 90 minutes to do this dungeon. We might have to do the designed wave mechanic properly., which weirdly results in just enough enemies to no drop us. Its not all a speedrun.
Dark Knight , in my opinion, suffers from a lot of obsolete and unneccesarily overbalanced design decisions. TBN - has no reason to only last 7 seconds and not heal you when the shield goes away (through the countdown or when it breaks) Dark Mind - a far too situational tool that you won't use 99% of the time. It should at least be changed to where it mitigates ALL damage instead of just magic Salted Earth - should really just be the PvP version Abyssal Drain & Carve and Split - have no reason to share a cooldown Dark Missionary - really should be moved down to Lvl 70 content Living Shadow - the clone is animation locked for around a quarter of the ability's total 20s duration. It should really only start ticking down after the summon animation is over.

Remove dark arts entirely so we don't need to have it active to do stuff (shadowbringer) etc...Bring back plunge animation atleast. Just make TBN a defensive only but if dark arts removed I guess that would solve that. Remove abyssal drain off carve and spit. Just make it a 30 second cd. I guess that's it for me.
... Wait so Living Dead only gives you Holmgang and Raw Intuition right? Like there's no damage bonus or anything? In other words if a healer keeps you alive through out the fight that you used Living Dead it would in fact be basically the same outcome. Like if you win faster it's not because Living Dead did anything more than allow the healer time to deal damage Why do people care if they don't get to pop Living Dead exactly, like this seems like an incredibly shit skill if I'm honest.

Drk that have full MP are always dealing less damage.
Yeah, I do that too. Figured it out pretty quickly. I don't really follow any rotation guides, because it's just not fun. For me, the fun comes from experimenting with button combinations and strategies for different situations.

TBN is massively power-crept nowadays. It was a great mitigation for its time but now? Other tanks just do its job better

Tbf it is a buff that every tank gets. It's not just exclusive to DRK
should just give drk a higher health pool and leech to solve the squishyness issue, similiar to wow DK
