Thanks very much for this episode from January 1963. I have been looking for a long time for episodes from this month and year to see if my memory was accurate about the Johnny Alexander storyline. I nearly jumped out of my seat when i was scrolling through the episodes and there was this one. Great work in uploading these Coronation Street episodes.
@@markthompson1529 Only episode I have from August is the 26th which was released on DVD. Don’t have all that many episodes from ‘63 at the moment unfortunately.

Great episode..Great mixture of gritty real life and humour..the Street at its best..
Written by one of Coronation Street's best writers Adele Rose.
Thank you again - I could listen to Ena, Minnie and Martha all day - fantastic.
Wonderful to actually see this episode rather than read about it. So well acted it seemed like a documentary. Thankyou so much for sharing.
I can remember mam plugging the iron into the light socket 😬
Thank You, another fab episode. Not seen before
Best episodes 60s early 70s. It's been ridiculous since then.
